   Put your hands up if you think talent shows are poularity contests!

I. Can't. Believe it. Once againg, my ever-so-popular cousin Nicole and her ever-so-popular friends won the talent show. Again. We've had four now and 3 of them were judged - she's won them all. However, this is UNFAIR. She goes out of tune when she sings sometimes and she totally (and deliberately - she loves the limelight) overpowered the voices of her friends. Not just that, she only won because half of the judges were her friends and so were totally biased and voted for her to win. It's so unfair! My friend Stuart had loads of guts to go on stage and sing Fields of Gold, and he was amazing. And so were the bands. And so was I! And none of us won! Third place were the HIPHOP dancers, and second place were the PRESENTERS - only ONE music act got a prize! I don't know what pissed me off more - Nicole winning because she's popular or the fact that only one music act won! Well, anyway, I had loads of fun doing it and I will do another post later (I just snuck on the computer cause I've had no chance whatsoever to go on for 4 days!) Byez! xx

Incoming talent show, but I'm not even nervous!

That sounds weird, doesn't it? But afteran after-school practice with my singing partner Rachael (who's singing with me) I'm very pleased. It sounds GREAT, and I don't usually boast about singing (it's one of the few things I'm modest about...I rule the world! Mwhahahaha!) ANYWAY! I best be going because of my practice (cause it makes me perfect hahaha!) Byez xx

   I had an interesting school day...

First, I find out that my best friend kissed a guy at a concert (woooo, she kept that quiet!) Actually it was her other friends that told everyone about it, she was really embarassed! I feel like I've not had any time to go on theotaku for the past week or so...probably cause I've been talking to a guy from my school on msn for the past 9 days non stop! Well, that's not true...I didn't really get on the computer at all this weekend (Mum on a cleaning rampage), so understandably I'm annoyed at that! Speaking of guys (about 5 lines ago!) my little brother just ran off so I better go get him. Bye all! xx ^_-

   Hayao Miyazaki, how do you do it?

OK, so my title is a little on the weird side, but if you've ever seen even one of this person's films then you'll know what I mean. 2 nights ago I watched Spirited Away for the billionth time, and yesterday I FINALLY got round to buying Howls Moving Castle. I watched about 2 thirds of it before going to work (Indian food mmm...well it's obvious that I'm a waitress at an Indian now), and I was literally swept off my feet (just like Sophie when she meets Howl). It was amazing! How I managed to even go to work without finishing the film I don't know, but when I got back I watched it from the start, all the way through. It was amazing as hell - the animation was so good I can't believe that Wallace and Gromit beat it for best Animated Feature at the Oscars in 2005! And OMG, how gorgeous is Howl? I loved his voice - they got a great actor for that! I f anyone has seen Howls Moving Castle or Spirited Away, you must comment, because films like these deserve to be talked about all the time and never be forgotten! xx

   I've now been visited over a hundred times...

Which makes myotaku the 8530th most popular! Well, that's much better then when I started and only, like, 3 people had visited! I want to thank all my friends on theotaku for making this possible, but I also want to thank my step-dad for fixing the computer a few weeks ago, curse my mum for banning me from the computer last week, and also to scream in delight at the fact that, having come to one of the final episodes of the final series of Yu-Gi-Oh, Marik and Bakura are finally in the same episode - I've been waiting for one of these since the Enter the Shadow Realm series! Unfortunately, Marik looks much older and it's the good Bakura!!! (And they haven't even spoken to each other!!!!! oh well...) Anyways I should stop the thankyou speech and get on with my hoovering - I shouldn't have been on the computer at all! See you all! xx

   Woohoo! My 3rd year exams have gone great!

I know that probably makes no sense to everyone not from Scotland, but if you're in 3rd yr then your 14 or 15, so that's equvilant to 8th grade or something? Anyways, I got back my maths, french, art, biology and chemistry results today and yesterday and, guess what? I got an "A" in everything!!!!! ^_^ That's enough talk about school, because since the new term started yesterday, methinks I should find something really interesting to talk about on theotaku.com to forget that my 2 weeks of (almost) complete freedom are over. O. V. E. R. You can see that I'm not melodramatic in the slightest!!!!! I've got a talent show coming up next Thursday but I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what to sing! Maybe I'll sing "Addicted" by Kelly Clarkson...I'm good at that...oh I don't know. I'll figure out what to sing tomorrow or something! Bye everyone! xx

   I got myself banned from the computer for the Easter weekend...oops!

It's not like I did anything majorly wrong though, I was just on the computer checking my e-mails and msn-ing a few people when I wasn't supposed to be on and my mum caught me, and so banned me from the computer (actually, my sisters too - they weren't very pleased ^_^) Anyways, back to the point of this post (even though there is none!), I read my Full Metal Panic comics in about an hour, and finished the other manga book in about 2, so now I'm ready to just have a go at making a proper manga comic of my own! (I have a totally random idea, but random is good! lol!) I just wish I hadn't read all of them in one day though...I don't know how long it'll be before I can go back into Glasgow again...boohoo! Well, I'd best be going now, my friend on msn is calling to me! Peace all! (Thought I'd stopped that) xx

   Went out to Glasgow today...and bought 27 pounds worth of manga!

Yes, it's true...my mum let me go to Glasgow ON MY OWN! (Well, with a friend). Sooooo, I bought Full Metal Panic volumes 3, 4 and 5 and I also bought a Manga book on how to set up comics right, character effects, emotionary effects etc etc! Woohoo! I'm so happy now (and soaked to the bone - the Scottish weather pulled out all the stops today!!!!! ^_-) Anyways, better be going to read FMP! See ya all! xx p.s: a $ is equal to about 1.25 pounds, and the pound sign ain't working on my keyboard at the mo! ^_-

   My sister just put ice down my trousers, so I'm taking the opportunity to go om theotaku!

Weird title, I know! But alas, it is true...my big sister couldn't be mature to save herself! ^_- Anyways, I think I am just updating for the sake of it, except to ask "since when does Reno the Turk say "neato?"" Haha!
