yea. One time we were passing by these railroad tracks when our car just turned off in the middle of the tracks. A train was coming too in the distance and the car wouldn't turn on. You know, the classic "car-won't-turn-on-and-a-train-is-coming-straight-at-us". It was a couple of days before Christmas. What sucked was that it was in the middle of this farmland area and so there was no red-and-white poles that come down when a train is coming. There were no bells either warning of a train.We just the train with the bright light coming honking all loud. Luckily the car turned on and we skadiddled out of there before the train hit us. That was close!!

8) Have you ever had your heart broken? nope

9) Do you cry during sad movies?

only when the movie is really messed up sad. I think I almost cried in the ending of the Afghani film "Osama". Very sad ending.

I got the Astro Boy banner that they hanged by the Anime section for $5. It's now under my bed coz I can't think of a good place in my room to put it. It's metallic-ish.

25) Have you ever done anything illegal? Probably, but something really minor (like downloading music. But that was a long time ago *looks down in guilt*)

UPDATE
Well I finished off my worst finals first! Yay! No more Calculus!! I hated that class. It was too much sometimes!!!

I think I did kinda well on my History final. It wasn'y so bad. I wrote my essays on WWI and the Cold War.

Tonight I'll start studying for my final on Wednesday for Biology.

I can't wait until I start doing nothing for the summer. It's been a while since I've felt "bored". I've always been busy. Everyday since late August. It's gonna be weird not "doing" anything for the summer.

I think I'll just get a move-on with my stories and character designs. They've been on hold for the longest time now. I don't even know where I left them the last time O.O I think....they're lost...*thinks*

   Finals today O_O
Let's see...I'm at school right now and I've taken two of three finals for today. I took the one for Calculus and the other one for Psychology.

Calculus

Well it wasn't so bad as I thought it would be. I did answer most of the questions and the others, well I couldn't get to finish them coz time ran out. I think I got a better grade than last time. Hey, I did my best with the little time I had to study.

Psychology

Um...because I had to study for my history final that's later today, I really couldn't study for this one. Like I said, I was too busy with work for my other classes that I didn't really have time to sit down and study. T_T But again, I did my best!

History

Well I should be taking it later today. We're going to be given 4 essay topics and we're going to write on two of them. Not too bad? Well we have to know every single aspect of that certain point in history, all of the significant events and people and important dates. Yikes! I focused on WWI, WWII and the Cold War. I hope they're as one of the topics we could write about.



My weekend was the usual. Work on Saturday then study for history.

Sunday, I woke up at 8 am and immediately began to study.


After today, it will all be better. I have a final on Wednesday for Biology and another on Friday for Religion. Not too bad.

Last night I went to sleep like at 3:10 am. I was working on my history thesis paper. Ugh. I think it came out ok. No, I did not procrastinate. It's just that I've been very busy with other school work and since I live at my house, I get easily wrapped up in family duties and all that =P Yeah, I think it came out better (my report). I already had a rough draft in the computer and I just had to fix some paragraphs and all. I didn't get to do my math homework at all! XO I'm glad next year I won't have any math. It's just too much sometimes @.@

Also, yesterday, I'm left eye was hurting a lot 0.@ I had to take some Tylenol to get rid of it. It went away like late at night.

Today my eyes feel kinda dry. Ugh. That's what happens when you only sleep for 3 hrs. Yeah, that's right. I went to sleep like around 3-ish and woke up at 6:30 am.

   I finally did it
I changed the look of my site. Can you guys see it now?? I hope! The colors are not well coordinated yet, but I'll find time to fix that later.

The new pic for my background is a drawing I one day randomly drew. It was a one hit wonder. That is, I got it right the first time I drew it. I was trying to draw one my characters in my stories (it's top secret!) Until I finish the story, I shall reveal it. Bwahaha. But yeah.
She's the main character. She's supposed to be from the 1940s. The rest of her outfit will also be top secret *hides with sketches*.

   aaiiieee!!!
-.-' Just when I thought the badness was over and done with, this morning was part II of yesterday's squabble. I got to school very sleepy. I went to bed the previous night at 1 am and woke up at 6, so I only slept like 5 hours. I didn't want to deal with any *yeah* so early in the morning. So I get to school, to my math class and there were only like 4 people, including Girl 1 and Girl 2 from yesterday's post. Yeah, they were my group members in the final math project we had. Well I get to my class and Girl 1 is like "Did you print out the project?"

I was like "What? O_O" SHE was the one who was supposed to print it out since it was saved on her disk. She then told me had e-mailed it me.

So I told her, "Yeah, I got the e-mail and I sent a reply message back with some couple of suggestions to make it better."

She had no clue what I was talking about. Hello?! I sent a REPLY message and she never noticed it -_-'''' She never *saw* it. It's not my fault! Well she reacted like it was. Gosh. I even CALLED her and told her that I had sent her a reply message. When I called her the previous night, to explain the corrections that had to be made on the paper, she told me she was nowhere near her computer; she wasn't even at home. O.o So I told her that she should check her e-mail because I had sent a reply message to her with clear details on where in the paper the corrections had to be made. I assumed she would notice the e-mail I sent her.

Well no.

This morning she's all like "You didn't print it out nor corrected it?"

I did correct it but she never told me to print it out. She said she would do it.

So much for miscommunication (or whatever it's called).


She didn't talk to me all day and I didn't feel like talking to her either. For many years it was me who was always the brains in writing papers in group projects. This year, for the first time, I let someone else do it and so many things went wrong. I had my style in approaching the paper but I had to give way to my other teammate's preference. I'm much more detailed in explaining math problems in writing (which is what this paper required). But Girl 1 used a much more rushed approach. Girl 2 and I tried explaining to Girl 1 that we had to explain the problem and most importantly the SOLUTION to someone who had no basic understanding of Calculus. She acted like if she didn't listen to us. She should've known because the INSTRUCTIONS on how to write the paper where GIVEN to us by our professor.

I'm glad we're over this, but rather, off with a sour note.

On to better things.

I'm gonna change the background in this site, ASAP.

I met with my advisor today. She was great! She knows so much info, she even helped me shape my schedule for the rest of my 4 years (or 3 years) in college. Yay!


I learned something today. Don't always trust what others tell you, unless you get professional advice.

I told someone that I wanted to withdraw from a class I was obviously not doing well in, and they told me that I shouldn't because I would never get accepted into a grad. school. Today I asked my advisor, who obviously has many years of experience in the field, the same question about withdrawing and she said that it does not really affect you at all. It's better withdrawing than getting an F.
