I made this poem because I was inspired by the song My Saving Grace .
My Strength
Life has its ups and downs
Sometimes it can make you laugh or frown.
Whatever tribulations may happen,
Don’t worry ‘coz your burden will lighten.
I made this poem with great confidence
‘coz I’m basing this from my own experience.
Every time I fall,
I know that I can stand up after all.
There’ll be no other,
Whom I consider as my perfect Father.
God is always there,
To show His love and care.
Even though I’ve been astray a lot of time,
He’s always there to welcome me back.
I can feel that He doesn’t want us apart,
The reason why He has His forgiving heart.
He’s the only one I can turn to
‘coz He can take away all my blues.
Whenever I’m lonely or sad,
He’s always there to make me glad.
He gives me peace,
He gives me strength,
He gives me hope,
When I’m about to lose it all.
He catches my every fall.
I know that I can trust Him.
And I feel so secure to know that He understands me.
I loved a lot.
I’ve been hurt, bruised and burned.
I wasn’t trying to show it
For my feelings and actions won’t fit.
All the loneliness I have inside
All the pain that I feel
I know that I can handle them all
Because God is there for me after all.
