   Thanks to all of you..*hugs*

Posting Time!
Mood: Clear
Time: 2:45 pm
Listening to: Quiet Night C.E. 73; Tanaka Rie [Meer Campbell]

First of all, thanks to all the people who tried to cheer me up. I love you guys *initiates group hug* Anyway, me and my mom talked it out. She told me why she had to leave, and why she needed the money for the job for my education and all. Anyway, everything was cool between us. I still wish she wouldn't leave, but she has her own reasons.

I finally figured out how to soup up my navbar. Thanks Steffy, for all your help! Anyway, for all of you who read my first fanfic...Here's Phase-02.

Jail

Kira punched the wall. Hard.

How could he lose her? Just HOW?

Fllay listened behind the walls. Perfect.

She knocked on the door, put on a worried face, and came in. “Kira…” she murmured.

Kira glanced at her, and sat down on the bed, a look of mixed anger and sadness on his face.

She stared at him and waited.

Usually there was at least a sad smile on his face, or something like that, to signal her that he was grateful for her company.

When that didn’t come….

He was under great pressure, surely.

She sat down beside him, and laid her head on his shoulder.

When he didn’t do anything, she crept behind him and hugged him.

“Fllay…I’m not in the mood.” Kira said, detaching her arms from his chest.

Fllay was shocked. This was the first time he brushed her off like that.

But she was determined to get the distraction of that spiky-haired, short, blonde BRAT out of Kira’s mind.

All of her attempts failed. But she kept on trying, until—

“FLLAY!! STOP IT!!”

Okay, now she was scared.

“Kira!” Fllay desperately sighed.

Kira buried his face in his hands.

“L-look…gomen…” He said.

But Fllay was enraged.

“Does she mean more to you than I do?” She asked with a cold voice.

“Iie! Fllay, you’ve got the wrong idea, I’m just worried about her because she was abducted by the ZAFT Forces, who knows what they might—!”

“Oh, so if I get kidnapped by those damned Co-ordinators, you won’t even shed a tear, would you?”

“Fllay, please…”

“Don’t feel sorry for ME, Kira. I don’t need your help on this, GOT IT?!!”

And she stormed out the door.

Back in ZAFT…
“Oh really? The prisoner is a girl?” Nicol Amarfi asked, as he opened a can of Dr. Pepper.

“Yeah, she happens to be Princess of Orb or something.” Dearka said, sipping his Coca-Cola Lime.

“Wow. And she was in a mobile suit?”

“Uh-huh. Unbelievable, huh?”

“Athrun seems fond of her. He says he’s met her before.” Yzak said.

“Really? Well, if she is the Princess of Orb, then she wouldn’t tamper with Patrick Zala’s son, considering Orb is a neutral nation.” Nicol pointed out.

“Wait, what do you mean, TAMPER?” Yzak asked.

Dearka smiled. “Oh you know, up to no good.”

—Oo00oO—

A short man in a green ZAFT Uniform came in the door.

“Athrun Zala?” He asked.

Athrun nodded.

“The commander wants to have a word with you at once. Finish your lunch and report to his office.” He said, and out he left.

Cagalli glanced at Athrun.

“Are you going to battle with the Earth Alliance again?” she asked with a hollow voice.

Athrun stared. “Is it any concern to you?”

She glared at him. “Take me back to the Archangel. Right away.”

“I don’t think you can tell me what to do from behind those bars.”

“I could pickpocket your gun if you weren’t looking and shoot you to death.”

“Okay, backing off now.”

“That’s what I thought.” Cagalli went over to her rock-bed and laid down.

Athrun smiled. “Don’t worry. You’ll live as long as I give you my food.”

“Am I supposed to say ‘thank you’?”

“That would be fine.”

“You don’t deserve it.”

“Alright then, I’ll see you later.”

“Look forward to it.” Cagalli said with such immense sarcasm that it could choke an elephant.

Athrun winced.
