Frosted Chocolate Delight
I cant wait for the weekend! First and foremost, I get to see my darling sister in Melbourne who I havent seen in ages. Second, my 5 year old nephew Dominic is in town from Texas to see his papa before he stars Pre-K in the Fall. So when you put those two together....BAM! Nice little family get together. Hopefully the weather will be ok so we can get out on the boat, but I have a feeling we'll be stuck at the house. No worries, Im sure little D will keep me occupied.

My husband and I are hooked on the video game called Challenge something. Its a two player video game kinda like Gaunlet Legends. We've been playing it for weeks straight. I know, we're sick!
The other night we had a couple of friends over and had some grilled chicken, my famous mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, mac and cheese and to complete the meal a nice garden salad. Wow! My stomach hurst just thinking of all the food we ate. And if that wasnt enough, when our friends left, Luis and I looked at each other and said in sync, "dessert?". So there we were, back in the kitchen raiding the cabinets and fridge and felt hopeless. No ice-cream, brownies, cake, nothing at all. Thats when we got creative. We put some Frosted Flakes in a bowl, topped it with mini marshmellows and chocolate chips. Covered it with milk, and there it was.......whatever it was. Im still thinking of a name for our creation. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to reply to this post....hint hint :)

Well, thats all for now. I need to catch up on my slacking here at work now that my boss is gone! Talk to yall fools later!!!

Fat guy in a little coat.....
I feel like a fatty today. This morning I woke up late, (with a little help from luis) and when I was getting ready I was having the hardest time fitting into my jeans. A few weeks back I was putting on the same jeans and was using the belt loops to pull them up and all of a sudden both loops riped off leaving these huge giant holes. Well, to get to today, luis walks in the door (forgot his cell phone) and sees what a hard time im having pulling these suckers up. He comes to me and say "I think its time," meaning time to retire the pants. I agree and before I know it he rips the back of my jeans leaving two holes. I finally get to say ive worn ass-less chaps! HA HA I was lmao!
So now im at work and I hear a slight tear and Im thinking omg! Twice in one day? So im looking in the mirror to see if i might have ripped my shirt...and its not just ripped. Its in shreads! I dont know what ive been eating, but its outta control!
Speaking of food, I just had this awesome homemade italian sub from Colombinos. Talk about a little slice of heaven. And the treats! Home-made. Im seriously considering being a Ben & Jerry's ice-cream sampler when I grow up.
Only 210 more minutes till my weekend begins! WAHOO!!!!

Mrs. Gomez
My 2-year anniversary was absolutly fantastic! Even though I had to work till 5, the night sure wasnt over! When I got home from work we toasted to our future with a nice bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. Not to brag, but there were a dozen red roses waiting for me when I walked through the door. Took a shower, did some primping, and headed out the front door to a restaurant called Thai on the Beach. It was cozy. Was on the second floor overlooking the ocean. Couldnt see much of the beach, was already 8:00 when we got there. The food was ok, but the company was what mattered. Luis gave me a sweet card (which of course made me cry).

After dinner, we headed downstairs to this outdoor bar, had a few cocktails and listened to some really good music.
The drive home felt like forever....had to pee like crazy!
Once we got home the romance began :)

Luis pushed play on the CD player and the song that comes on was Eric Clapton's Tears in Heaven. That was the song he and I danced to on our wedding day and I haven't heard it since we married. Luis never surprises me, and he finally got me. I was so impressed. We held each other and danced in the living room, just the two of us....oh, well, Noodle doesn't count. So, that concluded the night....or so thats what I want you to believe!

I finally got to see National Treasure thanks to Netflix and you know what.....I wasnt a happy camper. I really like Nicholas Cage, but the whold idea of it being PG really threw me off. Oh well, at least I didnt pay 8 bucks to see it in the theater. Just thought Id share that with you all.

Speaking of Noodle, we're thinking of getting him a little buddy this weekend. Most likely a kitten...well, I really hope! Since we keep him inside, we feel he might be lonely being home for 8 hrs by himself. Your probably wonder why we dont just let him outside. I would like too (I think he must spend half the day meowing by the back door) but since our street isnt paved you can understand. Imagine how dirty and flea infested he would be. Gross! Especially since he sleeps with us everynight. And he smells good now. It must be all the licking he does in his spare time. So my conclusion is to get another pet. And thats my final answer!

   Its FRIDAY and Im in LOVE!!!!
Didnt think it was that long since I last wrote, but surprise, surprise! Im BAAAACCCCKK! Not much has been going on lately.

Finally finished the bowling league. Even though I owed like 55 bucks I still made 50....and I didnt even have to pay my dues. How cool is that? For being the suckiest team...let alone the suckiest player on the team walking with some cash! Im lovin it! My husband luis and I went out last week to the bowling alley (just the two of us) and he whooped my ass! I convinced him to join the team next season with me. At least I'll have a few months of intense training. Im not messin around this time. I want the championship bowling watch. Oh yes, it will be mine!

Looks like I will have been married 2 whole life changing years this tuesday. Im really happy to be married. Its definintly work somtimes, but the rewards are unimaginable. My husband is my best friend, companion, mentor.....he makes me laugh, cry, think. Hes my everything. Sorry to make things all mushy, but I cant help but gush. I think we might go to a really nice Thai restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale. If you've ever had Thai cuisine, you know what I mean. It is to die for! MMmmmmm....Been thinking about it ever since I came back from seattle. Oh, jack talked thai, jack talked thai very well. (From meet the parents)

Oh, my cat noodle turnes a whooping 1 this month. He's such a big boy! Still chases his tail, are they really even supposed to do that. He does only have three toes on one paw. When I told luis about his paw when I got home from the shelter hes like, "I think you should return him, he's broken!" I was on the internet yesterday to see what kind of breed he might be and he comes really close to being a Russian Blue. His all grey coat is the main characteristic, but his eyes and face match too.

Work has been pretty slow....boring.....must keep eyes open....
Its been raining all freakin week long. I guess this is how floridians prepare themselves for hurricane season. I know Im not ready. I think their predicting 5 hurricanes to actually hit florida. I really need to stock up since I am a homeowner now and terrible things could destroy our quaint little house. It was build in 1980 so it wouldnt take much to blow down. The best thing to do is keep positive and get prepared asap!

Well, I smell some good food across my office. Must..follow scent. It must be lunch time!! WOOT! :D
