Sa Da Tay!!
Ive been violated!!!! Just got back to work (after having 4 days off for my trip to Seattle) and someone has raided the candy jar on my desk. Can you believe it!?!?! The jar was jam packed with sweets and all thats in there now is an empty wrapper and a crushed up lifesaver. The nerve. Some people. Its cool though. I did offer anyone who would like some to help themself.
I love the west coast. Seattle was awesome! The houses were like little cottages on the side of a mountain with various shades of color from all the flowers in bloom. Breathtaking. The weather was normal for washington. Gloomy overcast with light rain. They say it has the highest alcohol consumption along with the highest suicide rate. I guess they go hand in hand. Besides that, it had a lot of history and art. Pikes market was my favorite. Its like an outdoor farmers market with fresh food and flowers, but it also has crafts and art. I found a ton of cool stuff, but my funds were a little tight.
It felt like I didnt have enough time. We wanted to see the glass museum, but were rushed with a timeline.....get here at this time, eat lunch here, do that, do this. It would have been nice to kinda do my own thing, but you know how family functions go.
Ive never had Thai food until this trip and man, it makes chinese food look like the stuff you find in the garbage disposal. If you like curry, you'll love this cuisine. Out of this world. There was this one thai restaurant we passed named "Phucket". Made me laugh.
I did take some really cool pictures. During some points of the day I would take random pictures of ugly people. Why? Just for laughs. At my cousins graduation, we were in these bleaches and this lady in front of us had really really curly hair all geled up and I zoomed in to single out one curly Q. It seriously looked like a frech fry--or should I say freedom fry? The whole time I was hoping it would rain, just to see her hair droop. Yep, lets just say you'd be doing the same thing if you had to sit on rock hard bleaches for 3 and a half hours.
Other than that, things went well. Spent more than enough time with my mom and grandma. This trip made me realize how similar they both are. Is that my future? I honestly hope not, not to be mean, but they get on my nerves sometimes. I guess everyone has their little quirks, and not everyone is perfect. Belive me.
Well, Im going to be heading out pretty soon, so GET THAT POOTIE!!!!!

Who's the favorite now?!
Just kidding. Us kids are all of our mamma's favorites. I had a great time with my family for Mothers Day. Us girls went shopping then went to this club for a mothers day brunch. Did I mention it was at 4? What kind of brunch is at 4? Well, it was quite enjoyable anyways. I tore up the peel and eat shrimp. We also had cheese, salad, roast beef, turkey, stuffing, potatoes, pasta, and all the rolls in the world. Mounds and mounds full of rolls! Anyhoo, my little excursion to Melbourne was well worth it. I did bring my cat Noodle with me this time. Man, is he a cutie. The whole ride home he was curled up around my neck like a minx. My little buddy.
I think my husband and I might rent National Tresure tonight. Could us a little R&R. Thats all for today, i suppose. Till then....

It's raining, its pouring
So, a lot has happened since I last wrote. First off, Im back at the Dealership. The whole chiropractic office thingy didn't quite work out. Figures. It was a risk worth taking. Luckily I was able to get my old job back so things are good. I am going to miss the monthly massages you get while working at the Chiropractic office. Oh, well.
My really good friend from Orlando came to visit for a couple days. She hasnt visited me in like 6 months so I was really nice to see her again. We watched tons of movies and stayed up late. I love just hanging out with people you love. Just being together is the best.
Looks like Mother's Day is right around the corner. Still dont know what to get the mother-unit. I know she wants to meet half way, but theres really nothing to do in Vero Beach. Im trying to convince her to come to West Palm for the weekend. We could go to the Cinco De Maya Fest, have a Sunday Brunch on the beach, theres also this jazz festival too. I was also thinking maybe a spa package....full of pampering. Decisions, decisions. At least I know my sis is coming. It will be awesome just to have them here.
Its been pouring for hours here. Supposed to be like this all week. Ugh. I'd love to be home right now, bundled under the covers, window cracked, remote in hand. I see it now. Only an hour and a half to go before I high-tail it outta this joint. Im not sure how correct my sources are but I think this Hurricane season is supposed to be the worst! With 11 hurricanes a brewin' we're bound to get hit by at least 5. Im scared, hold me?!? I've survived the last one, I know I can make it. But our poor house. And being built in 1980, I doubt it will withstand much. We'll see.
Yep, thats gonna conclude this episode. Hunger has taken over, must eat food!

ONE MORE DAY TILL HUMP DAY!
Sorry I didnt write a post for yesterday....I was having a case of the Mondays. Now that Im on day two, I feel a little better thinking theres only 3 more days till the weekend. Yippy!!!
Why am I so happy you ask. Today is the last day as the repo-queen, as I am leaving the used car dealership. On to bigger and better things. Im kinda nervous starting my new job tomorrow. Meeting new people, getting aquainted in a new environment. Its like Im starting all over again.
The people here are thowing a pizza party for me since its my last day. Im sort of sad to leave, knowing I was beginning to get along with everyone here. There all so funny....Todd is gay, gay, gay, yea, yea, yea!!!! Grown men saying this.
Let the games begin. Tonight is another Joe to the Snack Bar Please...... With only 3 more games till season ends, its time to crank it up. I keep telling myself to practice at least one night a week so I can atleast hit my average, but Im reluctant to go. It could be my wallet holding me back. Low on funds this month. I did get my bowling league membership card. Yep, Im officially one of them. Jealous, huh? I knew it! I think this weekend my husband and I are going to the beach with his family. Its called John D. McCarther Park. Ahhh, its so beautiful, so natural. If you knew me you'd be thinking, "Alesha, at the beach?" Just so you know, I dont go in the sun too often, just preserving the goods for my later years. Ill be less wrinkly ya know. So Ha!
Well, work is calling and I think the boss is here.

REPO-QUEEN ON THE LOOSE!
I think I know what I want to do when I grow up. I want to be a privite investigator. Wouldnt that be awesome?!? Today at work I kinda had a taste. Well.....you could call me the repo queen.
This lady purchased a car from us like a month and a half ago and still hasnt gotten insurance on the car so, this is where I come into play. I drove with one of the sales guys to her house (of course she wasnt home at the time) to reposess her car. I really felt like a sheriff or something. Id say something like, "Mam, we need you to hand over the keys, someone could get hurt." Ha ha ha. Me, threatening? maybe its best if I keep a low profile instead.
Well, looks like today is Friday and Im in Love! Two whole days of sleep!!!!!!!!!!!! Life couldn't get any better.
Since I dont have internet at home this will be my last entry.
Well, till Monday when I come back to the pit......work.
Till then...............

DRAMA!!
Man, work has never been so exciting. Yesterday was jam-packed full of craziness.
I work at a used car dealership doing clerical/receptionist work. Well, this lady bought a car from us a few weeks ago and brought it back saying it was making some noises when she reached a speed of around 50. Being the courteous and legit business that we are, we kindly took the car back saying we would get the problem fixed within a week. Since we dont have an on-site mechanic, her 04' Ford Expedition with pimped-out rims was take to this Shop we normally deal with. Well.....this is where it gets juicy.....
Apparently, someone stole her car from the mechanics shop, was chased by police about 10 miles, then slams into the back of a brand spankin' new BMW!!! The craziest part is that the guy gets out of the car and runs off! HE GETS AWAY!!!!!
I dont know about you, but Im an avid watcher of the show COPS and no-one, absolutly, no one gets away.
Thankfully my last day here is Tuesday, needless to say I wont encounter such episodes as this working in a Chiropractic office, but some old gezer may want his bunions rubbed out.....ewww.

Joe To The Snack Bar Please!
What a stellar day im having, despite the mild hangover i aquired from last nights bowling extravaganza!
We lost the game (suprise, suprise) which then moves our team from 5th (to last place) to 2nd (to last place, again). POR QUE!!!!!!!!!!!!! With only 4 more games, its time to kick it up a notch..........or not. It's about having a good time with all your friends. Who cares about winning the jackpot at the end of the season....ha. I have better things to do than get rich!
My little sis. I love her so much. I think im having seperation anxiety......can't...breath.
We have so much in common. Our humor, mostly. She cracks me up. Shes my own personal mini-me. Really wish we lived closer. Crazy how fast time flys. Takes me back. We were inseperable. Always blessing things with her golden locks of hair (thumb in mouth). Oh the memories.....sniff....sniff :(
Looks like today is going to be another one of those "load up my desk with tons of papers right when Im ready to go home" days. Gotta love em'.
Well, lemme get back to doing what I do best. Looking busy!
Adios

I look forward to sharing my thoughts, views, personal info, and pet-peves with people I've never met. Maybe there's someone out there just as dysfunctional!
