Sa Da Tay!!
Ive been violated!!!! Just got back to work (after having 4 days off for my trip to Seattle) and someone has raided the candy jar on my desk. Can you believe it!?!?! The jar was jam packed with sweets and all thats in there now is an empty wrapper and a crushed up lifesaver. The nerve. Some people. Its cool though. I did offer anyone who would like some to help themself.
I love the west coast. Seattle was awesome! The houses were like little cottages on the side of a mountain with various shades of color from all the flowers in bloom. Breathtaking. The weather was normal for washington. Gloomy overcast with light rain. They say it has the highest alcohol consumption along with the highest suicide rate. I guess they go hand in hand. Besides that, it had a lot of history and art. Pikes market was my favorite. Its like an outdoor farmers market with fresh food and flowers, but it also has crafts and art. I found a ton of cool stuff, but my funds were a little tight.
It felt like I didnt have enough time. We wanted to see the glass museum, but were rushed with a timeline.....get here at this time, eat lunch here, do that, do this. It would have been nice to kinda do my own thing, but you know how family functions go.
Ive never had Thai food until this trip and man, it makes chinese food look like the stuff you find in the garbage disposal. If you like curry, you'll love this cuisine. Out of this world. There was this one thai restaurant we passed named "Phucket". Made me laugh.
I did take some really cool pictures. During some points of the day I would take random pictures of ugly people. Why? Just for laughs. At my cousins graduation, we were in these bleaches and this lady in front of us had really really curly hair all geled up and I zoomed in to single out one curly Q. It seriously looked like a frech fry--or should I say freedom fry? The whole time I was hoping it would rain, just to see her hair droop. Yep, lets just say you'd be doing the same thing if you had to sit on rock hard bleaches for 3 and a half hours.
Other than that, things went well. Spent more than enough time with my mom and grandma. This trip made me realize how similar they both are. Is that my future? I honestly hope not, not to be mean, but they get on my nerves sometimes. I guess everyone has their little quirks, and not everyone is perfect. Belive me.
Well, Im going to be heading out pretty soon, so GET THAT POOTIE!!!!!
