Well, today I take the written test for my permit ^^;;; heheh, I know I'm pretty late to get it (already being 16 for about 3 months now ;P) and I took the study course about 5 months ago so I'm gonna be cramming in study time all day today as we take care of some errands beforehand XDDD wish me luck?...please I'm begging you!!! (lol total jk)

Along with the errands we're doing today, I'm picking up and turning in my work permit to Target so I can get scheduled for orientation and start working! wooooooot! XDDD I can't wait to be making money *mwahahhaha!*

Sephiroth: Mwahahahahahhahaha!

I'm feeling better today, thank you everyone for your insights *hugs*

Today we had a guest singer at mass, and I really enjoyed his music. My dad ended up buying two of the CDs he was selling and we're gonna get them signed this afternoon when I attend the church's teen youth group. ^.^

Anywho, I still haven't gone to orientation at my new job cuz I'm still having to get my work permit signed and the drug tests and whatnot out of the way, but I'm excited ^.^ I just hope I can get time off to be able to go to a three-day anime convention *crosses fingers* cuz we've already payed for it lol. It'll be my first as well, so that'll be exciting ^.^

Oh! Thanks to a fellow Otaku member, I'm a really big fan of Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge now! XDD I've been watching it on youtube for a while now mwahaha! ^.^ It's really funny, which is a high expectation of mine when it comes to anime shows. They gotta have the humor and/or chibi moments in them.

Well, I don't know why I'm posting...I guess just for the heck of it...

My site still looks like crap, but eh, what's the point of changing it? I guess I might if I'm still bored by the time I'm done writing this *laugh*

Well, I got hired at Target *woot* so I already have the summer job I never thought I would get this year...it's kind of nerve-racking cuz I've never had a job before and I'm pretty shy in person, but oh well, it's time for me to change.

I've been thinking about someone lately whom I really got close to (or at least I thought I did) about a year ago, but we don't even talk anymore...they got bored with me, or scared with me and I don't even know why I'm bringing it up, cuz it really hurts...but I guess everything you truely care about will ultimately end up causing you pain. A person stops talking to you, or you get separated from them, or they die. Kind of makes me wonder why we human beings long for such relationships with others...we become desparate for them, but in the end we are just scarred by the memories we shared with those people. Yeah, a lot of memories can be pleasant, even causing you to smile when you recollect them, but it's also bittersweet. Every unique memory with that person reminds you again and again that you'll never find another relationship quite like that one. You will never have that special bond with another ever again...

I probably had more to say, but my mind's blank now. Sorry for such a lame post and not commenting on everyone's sites.

As you can see my layout is now gone--quite a bleak site now, yesh? I've been working on a new layout, but I don't know if I'll ever put it up here. The problem is that I can't seem to get the webpage like...completely blank to just be able to paste my layout in. Right now no matter how I code it, Otaku always seems to offcenter it and do wacky things...so blah. If you have a code that will help me, please pm me or whatever, I would really like to have it.

In other news, I have two days of school left, and they're half-days--WOOT! I'm so freaking done with school!!!!!

Well, I doubt many will actually visit today *laugh* since it's already 6:30pm Pacific time, but I thought I'd let you all know I'm still alive and still very busy...but summer is almost here.

Oh! I watched Advent Children in Japanese for the first time last night! WOOT! It's so much more surreal in Japanese than in English!!! I LOVED IT!!! *snuggles with her emo Cloud* I must say, however, that the English voice actor for Reno is more entertaining...but I guess that's because he makes Reno the typical smartass American *laugh* I think I'm gonna want to watch it again tonight...late again *grins*

Well, not much more of my boring life to report, so I guess no overtime for me today. Peace yo!

Today's Post ~ May 10, 2007

Ta-da! I'm actually posting again! hehe. Just to warn you...today's post will be long, but I won't post again over the weekend, so yeah...here I go! lol


Well, I forgot to tell you guys last time that I finished watching the entire Cowboy Bebop series last Saturday! *woot* It's really quite aweomse...too bad my brother kinda spoiled the very ending for me though lol, but oh well, it was a good ending...I was suprised how sharply the series actually ended though. It was just like *bam* the last three episodes!!! And I was quite surprised at Faye's reaction at the end.


On to other news! Sorry I havne't really been able to visit this week--I really do try! But I'm getting a ton of homework, naturally, cuz finals are coming up quickly.

Wow! All of you had such sweet comments for me on my last post!! *hugs all* so I'm going to respond to a few of them ^.^

demon dragon: I am SO sorry you still can't see the right side of my layout! -_-' I'm really new to html, but I really hope I can fix the problem soon. And yes you have helped!!! You've helped me so much, so I put in a special thanks to you in the credits for the layout ^.^ (you just can't see it cuz it's on the right side lol)
hollow eyes: aww so sorry you can't watch Kodocha anymore! I think that's my new favorite anime, cuz it's just so outrageous and cute ^.^ Oh! And about the hair...my natural color is a light brown, but I dyed it black and cut it really short for the play, lol everyone thought I had totally lost my mind ;P
XxAerithXx: lol, yes, I finally made a club ;P and thank you sooo much for letting me join a couple of yours! *hug*

TigerFantasy17: lol, about fitting all of the codes into an otaku backroom--I had the same question when first discovering html ;P You past all of the codes in "post styles" which doesn't have a character limit. ^.^ OMG I'm soooo honored to remind you of Yuna! (even if it's very slight) lol My mom said I really looked like her before I died my hair black and I actually hope to cosplay as her one day ^.^


And to all of you--glad you really liked the picture! ^.^ Our school did that play in the fall and it went very well, so thanks!


I'm entering an art contest at school! Students were asked to make an anti-tobacco poster and the winner gets a $150 gift card to Borders!!! Manga and Anime shopping spree!!! XDDD So yeah, hopefully I win, but I seriously doubt it...maybe not very many people are entering though! lol, so wish me luck! ^.^


Well, I'll be going over to my cousin's house today and spending the night--woot! She's only a year younger than I am, so she's like a sister to me! And then early Saturday morning we're doing "The Race for the Cure" so that should be nice. I'm praying it won't get too hot too quickly! *crosses fingers*


I've also added a short story to my "Reader's Corner" section...which might have totally jacked up my layout *nervous laugh* but I don't have any time to check--if you can, in fact, see it and don't mind reading it, I'd very much appriciate your comments and suggestions ^.^ The ending was kind of rushed since I needed to quickly end it for an English assignment, but I think it turned out alright...

Today's Post ~ May 6, 2007

Just a few semi-exciting things to report lol

I made a few adjustments to the layout, but please tell me if you are still experiencing problems with viewing certain things.

Also, I have created I club! ^.^ It's the Kodomo No Omocha (a.k.a. Kodocha) club because I'm soo obsessed with that anime series right now! hehe it's so cute and random, I love it! So you can view the picture over there in my club memberships scrolly thingy and pm me to join if you'd like ^.^

Also, I'm featured on a website!!! It's a picture of me with my Oni mask (and yes, we hand-made that mask for it!) in our high school fall play "In a Grove: Four Japanese Ghost Stories" so here's the link if you wanna check it out! If you click on the picture you can view it in a larger size! XDDD I was so excited when my drama teacher showed it to me!!! Cuz we sent in, like, 25 different pictures we had taken and they chose mine! ^.^

Also, my family and I are going to a farmer's market type thing tomorrow after church, so that should be fun looking at all of the different things people make/bring to sell and whatnot...I hope there are some asian things or antiques!!...so, yeah! haha

Well...I'm not sure how this layout looks on your screen...I've gotten a thumbs up from one person, but another person said that part of the layout is cut off or something, so those of you who are visiting, please comment whether you can see the full screen or not, mkay? It would be much appriciated!


Anywho, not much has really happened...I'm SO done with sophomore year, so luckily there's only a few more weeks left until we are out of school...

I've recently joined my church's youth group and that's been pretty fun. I'm pretty shy around people I don't know, so I'm forcing myself into this situation so that my social skills improve lol, no pain no gain, right? ;P

I'm also gonna participate in "The Race for the Cure" in Sacramento next Saturday to help raise money for breast cancer research, so that should be fun since I'm going to run with my aunt and cousin ^.^

So how has everyone else been?

*Japan Time* Okay, I kinda lied, lol, I'm posting XDDD So, HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!! ^^ I sent out cards to all of you guys, so if you haven't received one, please check that your pm box is not full and pm me or comment here that you didn't get one, mkay? I want to make sure everyone gets one. ^^ Before I begin this paragraph (laugh) yes, I am Catholic and I ask that you please not take a negative conotation. Many things said against the Catholic faith are not even true and many things are misenterpreted/misunderstood. The main thing is, yes, I am a Christian--anywho, on with the post-- So, last night my family and I went to the Easter Vigil mass at our church. Oh how that mass is sooooo beautiful! And rightly so, since Easter is the biggest celebration in the Church, for it is the time when Jesus died for us on the cross (Friday) and rose from the dead today! The Lord is Risen!!! ^^ Anywho, today (as in like 15 minutes from now) we're heading over to my cousin's house for a bbq and Easter egg hunt! (laugh) all three of us (my sister, my cousin, and I) are kinda old for Easter hunts I would think, but my Aunt insists because of the two new cousins in our big family, and hey how can I resist--it's CANDYYYY!!! -feels the sugar rush coming on already- And I gave sweets up for Lent, so I'm sweets-deprived right now! (laugh) Well, I'll visit as many sites as I can before we head out, and I hope you all have a wonderful Easter!!! ^^ ~ Fantasy Hearts ~
