Welp-awh, I just finished watching the Death Note anime series...I've been at it for a few good hours xD
I must admit the series loses flair after L's death (sorry if that spoils the show for anyone, but isn't that just common knowledge now...?)
And I'm not just saying that because I really like L's character. The struggle against Kira kinda just waddles on in a predictable, drawn-out sort of way. Bah. And the ending wasn't really satisfying. It kinda just gets crazy and then: the end. I gotta had it to the voice actor of Yagami Light, though. Excellent performance.
Near was cute-->like L but smaller, white hair, and wore a button-up white shirt instead of L's plain cotton.
Mello was annoying in that he reminded me of Michael Jackson now-a-days or the image of Johnny Depp's Willy Wonka. Gross.
I'm glad I finally finished it though xD But for some reason I can't stop thinking Death Note is the only yaoi I find attractive. I mean, there is noooooo freakin' way I'm looking at the graphic crap that's out there, but the L and Light couplings are pretty darn cute. xD
Every fan of Death Note should REALLY see the live action movies they made in Japan (Death Note, and Death Note: The Last Name). The L and Light actors are simply amazing (not to mention hot *cough*).
