   Gackt is taking over today!!!! ^^
Taking a short break from the Fruits Basket background and avatar in exchange for my new obsession at the moment--Gackt Camui!!!! ^^ OH! And I made that background MYSELF!!!! ^^ My first background! What do you peoples think? Hmmmm? It kind of got cut off...but if you go into my guestbook, you can see all of it! ^^

Formerly of the band Cain's Feel and later, Malice Mizer a "Visual-Kei band". Forced to lean piano at the age of three, Gackt always hated piano but eventually becomes really good at it. A very competitive man, Gackt wants to be the best at everything, so he took up everything that his peers took up and became better than them. Gackt cooks very delicious curry. He is currently solo and works with his band, Gacktjob. Gackt plays several musical instruments such as piano, guitar, drums, trombone, trumpet, bass, and tuba. Gackt claims to be able to speak French and English, however he is not very proficient. He can speak Chinese however, as seen in the movie Moonchild.

Where are they now
(September 2003) Working on his 4th album, title as yet unknown.

(July 2004) Recently released his sixth and seventh albums together, The Sixth Day and The Seventh Night. Sixth Day is a collection of his Single releases, re-recorded and enhanced, and Seventh Night is an unplugged studio album, meaning an acoustic album of previously released songs.

(January 2005) Working on his new album "Love Letters" due to be released on Valentine's Day 2005.

(September 2005) Album release "Diabolos"

(September 2005) Begins 2005 Japan tour on September 23rd at the Toda Bunka Kaikan (Toda City Culture Hall) in Saitama. The tour is to have no less than 36 shows at 28 arenas over the next 3 months.

(December 2005) Concludes his 2005 Japan Tour "Diabolos" with a stunning and historic December 24th Christmas Eve concert in the Tokyo Dome, one of Japan's largest arenas. The sold-out arena in the heart of Tokyo filled with 44,000 fans to celebrate Christmas with Gackt. It is the first time he has ever performed to such a large audience and given such a long concert.

(January 2006) Begins the Asian tour of the Diabolos concert series with a January 15th performance at the Olympic Park in Seoul, Korea.

(January 2006) Releases his new CD single "Redemption" on January 25th. The single is a tie-in to the new "Dirge of Cerberus - Final Fantasy VII" game, and both the 'A' and 'B' sides are themes from the game.

(February 2006) Appears with famed 'Kidô senshi Gandamu' creator Yoshiyuki Tomino at the premiere of the new 'Kidô senshi Z Gandam - A New Translation III - Love is the Pulse of the Stars' movie on February 23rd at the Yurakuchou Marion Asashi Hall in Tokyo. This film marks the end of the collaboration between the two on this project, but both men have expressed admoration for the works of the other, and hope to be able to work on another project in the future.
