I am back home...
Konnichiwa minnasan. Tadaima. I came back frm china today, and I had quite a smooth-flowing trip there, except during the returning journey.
30th August - I went to create my sailormoon wallpaper for submission before I leave for China (that wallpaper consist all 5 inner senshi with chinese characters written on them). It got accepted by otaku initially, but it was gone when I returned today. Not sure why. Anyway, went to check in at the airport before departure. I took Garuda Indonesia to Shanghai. I thought initially that Garuda was reasonably ok, but I was wrong (that was during the return journey).
31st Aug - 6th Sept.
To keep a long story short, I toured all over China with my tour group, from Suzhou to Hangzhou to Nanjing to Wuxi and finally to Shanghai. I was very unlucky though; my tour group (consisting of 32 people, inclusive of myself) is all a whole lot of ojisan and obasan. I get along fairly well wif them though...hehe. China has a lot of cheap stuff. a lot of cheap stuff. For example, a Jay Chou music CD for 10 RMB (S$2), a Crayon Shinchan DVD and Anime Sailormoon DVD for 25 RMB each (S$5). I bought them all at the shops at Nanjing. The hotels are reasonably OK as well, except that they lack toilet rolls.
2 days ago, I got the shocking news that the flight for Garuda (from shanghai back to singapore) was cancelled. For Garuda to fly back to singapore, it must arrive from singapore to shanghai first, and it so happened that it did not. The tour guide was kind enough to arrange another flight for those taking Garuda initially.
7th sept (today) - Finally, I managed to return today, this time by China Eastern Airlines. I miss my home, and my friends and relatives here, and most importantly, my laptop. I was glad that I can see them again.
