Another Spandam Incident...
HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY!! ^ ^ It feels so good to be healthy over vacation! Heehee! We went downtown today and I got my ballet slippers! Finally! (They were a very late Christmas present from my brother.) I don't actually take a dance class or anything (even though I'd like to), but I wanted a pair anyway (I feel like Mr. 2 now)! :D The toe parts are reinforced so I can balance on them and everything! And they even have the pretty ribbons! ^ ^ Yay! I'm so happy! But then we went out to lunch. *sigh* Great place to show off my Spandam-ness. *sweatdrop* First, I order a milkshake, and it was really good! You know how they give you the container they mixed it in because there's always some more left over? Well, I drank mine pretty quickly, so I went to pour some more into my glass, and...well, more of it ended up on the table. It came out really fast and the glass overflowed and it got all over the place! I used so many napkins...my mom and my brother were like, "Just pretend you don't know her." (They were kidding! I think...and yes, they called me "Spanda.") So I left this huge pile of wet napkins at the edge of the table. The waitress passed by a few times and didn't clean them up (the service wasn't so good today). Everything was alright after that until the food arrived. Now believe me when I say this wasn't my fault: when the waitress sets my plate down, the dish of marinara sauce slips off and lands in my lap! And I was all dressed up in a skirt and everything! All she said was, "Oh, sorry..." and she left to get me a wet cloth to clean it up with. I was already using napkins to try to mop it up with, and that's when I realized, it was really HOT!!! So I did a Spandam and yelled "Bwaahhhh!! HOT, HOT, HOT!!!" (Well, it wasn't quite that loud, but you get the idea.) So, now I'm just totally bummed out and I have a stain on my pretty skirt (luckily it was black, so it didn't show up that much, but it was still wet). At least the food wasn't that bad...*sigh* It's not my fault I'm clumsy! Er...maybe it is...? Why do I have to be Spandam? At least I'm not sad anymore, so go ahead and laugh! I guess it is kind of funny now that it's over. Well, that was my Spandam incident for the day! I hope everyone else's was a bit...cleaner. :)
