Which Sweeney Todd Character Are You? {Pictures, Detailed Results, Etc.}
Ah, you should be concerned, I suppose, Mr. Sweeney Todd.
Personality: Your personality is morbid, in fact, it borders on the downright sadistic. Although I'm sure that you would hopefully not kill out of vengeance, that is something that you should watch out for. Your sense of justice is heightened, to abnormal means : when vengeance is vengeance, vengeance is yours, if you get my drift. From the looks of it, you think that retribution is yours to take, by any means necessary. You see people as unnecessary organisms : dull, dumb, and selfish. You probably were happy and optimistic at one point, but some large happenstance caused you to revert to this state. You are most likely depressed, however, you can also get caught up in your own devices and forsake family and friends. You can be self-absorbed at times, so remember to take a glimpse around you and notice that there are those who are trying to help. It may sound sappy, but since you resemble Mr. Todd, I have to say this, especially if you have your own Ms. Lovett in your life and don't even know it. (Horrible! Well, I am a tad bit biased.)
Outlook: Pessimistic, extremely morbid. You can't seem to find the good in anyone, you know that people are horrible and that you yourself are horrible, and that's the bottom line. Your sense of justice tells you that vengeance, at any means, is alright, because humans deserve it anyway.
Describing Colour: Grey. You are dark and morbid, even willing to kill for your convictions, however, there is a streak of light in you from when you had a positive and bright outlook on life. This streak seems to stay with you throughout life, and may even change your character. No person is ever completely black, and Sweeney is a testament to that.
Character History: Sweeney seems to stay the same in character in both film (The Tale of Sweeney Todd) and musical : he's still the macabre barber who slits his victims' throats and has Ms. Lovett bake them into meat pies. He's practically the only character to go unchanged, except in the film (drama, not musical) he turned a bit sadistic and made a mute boy watch the deaths of his victims. Hm. You can decide which part of Sweeney you are. Hopefuly you're not the one from that film, maybe you're the lighter one who exists in the musical?
Main Drive: Justice. You know what is right, and you seek to enact it fully.
Character Strengths:
: genuinely loving, loyal, self-reflective, strong sense of justice
-: decietful, prone to vengeance, strong sense of justice, can get so caught up in things that forgets what's around him, brooding, impulsive (which leads to rash decisions that he regrets)
