Kingdom Hearts :: Darkened Stars Part 03
This is just a paragragh since I haven't been writing much of it! XD If I posted TOO much, then I won't have anything to post later! XD Hope you like it! Part 03 of my story! Booya!

Part 03
“They’re just like a married old couple aren’t they?” Riku said laughing. I looked at his smile and nodded. He always did make me feel warm inside when he smiled.

It took both Riku and I to break up the fight between the two. They care for each
other more than anything, yet they still bicker on and off. Sora had finally agreed to help
find the supplies needed for the trip, but only under the condition that Kairi must be
truthful to him and not lie about having a play day at Destiny Island just to get him to
work. Kairi nodded in agreement as she crossed her fingers behind her back. I quietly
giggled. “Better not say anything, or another argument might come up.” I thought. Riku
must have noticed as well and gave me a quick wink. I looked down from his gaze and smiled. “Hope my face wasn’t too red.” I thought trying to keep my smile at a minimum.

We had finally divided up to gather the supplies for our journey. Sora ran off in an instant and left us in dust. “Sora! We never said we’d race!” I called to him. “Sora!” It was no use, he was too far away now. I took a deep breath. He could never resist a challenge. I looked down in disappointment. “Sora you nimwit.” I sighed. Then I felt the presence of a hand on my left shoulder. I turned to see Riku with a grin on his face. “Well,” he said calmly, “If it’s a race he wants, it’s a race he gets.” He looked down at me. “Are you in?” he asked. I thought for a little, then smiled back at him. “Yeh, I’m definitely in.” “On your mark, get set, go!” Kairi yelled in excitement. Riku and I raced off. We were both running at the same pace, but after a while, I slowed down and eventually went to a complete stop. “Are you alright Sakurie?” Riku asked looking back. I took a few quick breaths, then managed to answer. “Yeh, I’m fine. Don’t worry!” I yelled to him. “Do you want me to wait?” he asked as he stopped. I shook my head. “I might not be able to win, but that doesn’t mean you can’t.” I said. Then I gave him a quick smile telling him to keep going. “All right then! Take a break when you need to Sakurie, don’t push yourself too hard.” And with that, he ran off and disappeared out of sight. I plopped down on the floor and tilted my head up toward the sky. “There’s no stars.” I whispered to myself unconsciously. Then I snapped out of it and continuously hit my head with my hand. “Stupid, stupid, stupid!” I said, “Course there’s no stars! It’s not even nighttime yet!” As I pounded harder and harder on my head, I felt a cold breeze going down my neck. I shivered then turned toward the direction of the breeze. I gasped when I realized where the breeze was coming from; the cave.
