A friend of mine was on the net and came across this newspaper article which had been scanned in on the net. I ws at school at the time and didn't save the link, but It was something about a Gundam Live thing.
I remeber after reading Zap29's post the other day.
They spelt Gundam as GunDam and said that David Beckham was being considered for one of the major roles....
I so hope that they were talking about Gundam SEED. Because they cannot corrupt the glorious, one-of-the-best-ever, amazing and good anime series Gundam Wing.

Especially with David Beckham playing a GBoy.

Dude ! These Anime Live things just don't go well do they?
But they seem to be a great opportunity for people to cash in on...

   I Passed!!!!
OMG!
I actually managed to scrape an achieved on my science test!!!
2 more questions as "not achieved" and I would have failed!!!

I went to see "Farenheit 9/11" with my friend the other day, and my GOD! I loved it. Chances are that I'm going to get hate mail, but it was really good.

The friend I went with lived in the US for the majority of her life, and now she's all depressed because of what America has become...
I suppose it is worse than it was when Clinton was there - when it was Clinton, he didn't have this "bite me" and "let's go get some evil-doers" attitude. (and is "evil-doers" even proper grammar???)
And Democrats seem to be more quiet and like to keep a lower profile... he did make some pretty good laws dedicated to education and health, as well as keeping the world a stable/semi-safe place to live without declaring war or pissing people off.
but still...

*snort*

The Carlyle Group, Enron, Hillbourghy, James Bath, Bin Laden, the Saudis, the Bush family, Cheney, Rumsfield, Rice, and all those "elite" people involved and out to get some dosh (a.k.a 100+ Billion) out of the war....

THAT is real politics

Every godamn country is working at it...I could give you several dodgy incidents by world-leading countries which are contraversial, including Japan and UK.

Blackmail, backmargins, contracts, sub-contracts, unspoken rules of engagement, corruption at the highest degree,

Doesn't it make you sick??


Bah, I'm such a cynic.
Did you know that Oscar Wilde said -

"A cynic is a person who knows the price of verything and the value of nothing."

So a lie!!!
I counter it with -

   gah
stupid science.
We had an electricity test.
I'm gonna get the results tomorrow.
I think I failed.
I know everyone says that, but really.

I missed oput like 10 mini answers and half the questions were like logic, not science, and as much as I realise that logic is a rather important thing in society, there has to be people who aren't so logical to keep the world in order. And I'm one of those people. Logic is beyond me. Esp. the IQ test logic and stuff.
I'm not stupid. Hey, I've been in the "geeks" class or as i like to call it, the "extension" or "scholarship" class for as long as I remember. :)
Lets just say that I have spacial intelligence, not logical intelligence

Just wish me luck and pray for me that I got over 50%

A Boring Day......
I'm typing this out at school. Its is so boring...
And there's this girl who looks like the girl 'Summers' in the movie - "The School of Rock" just sitting 2 meters away from me. SCARY.
ahem.

About my latest piece of art, Lady in Fur and Ink, some viewers seem to think that I put it though a computer programme like Paint.

I DID NOT.
I REPEAT = I DID NOT STICK IT THOUGH A PAINT PROGRAMME ON THE COMPUTER.

Anyways, I am getting PaintShop Pro this weekend.
And I hope I'll get a tablet thing too.
The money I saved up is going to go KAPEESH down the drain.

Does anyone know how to make an Avatar?

Jury
Heh
My mum got a really official looking letter requesting her at some trial as a Juror.
Ever after watching "Runaway Jury" (starring John Cusack + Gene Hackman :) and Rachel Weiss)
my mum's been really eager.
But on the notice thing it says: If you do not have a good understanding of English, you may be excused from Jury Duty.
Gah! Mum SO fits that catergory, but she's going down to the court thing anyway and asking if she can hire an translator.

And with other news -
In Science and Social Studies, our class is getting a 'extension programme' and we get to do NCEA Level 1 stuff. For Science - some Investigation thing, and for Social Studies - a Inquiry into the Montgomery Bus Boycott which happened in 1955.

Sucks
NCEA stands for - National Certificate of Educational Achievment.
Bit like GCSE in the UK.

I had a HUGE quiz spree, so everyone - have a look at my quiz results!
I just had horseriding today!
And I got my jumping skills corrected.(mind you, the jumps are only like 50cm high - i'm a beginner)

   ahhhhhh pain ...
3km tramp with 10kg packs on our backs...
I'm bloody exhausted.
Camp sucks.
I can't lift my arm up properely 'coz I pulled a muscle or something. My shoulders hurt, my neck hurts, my arms hurt, my back hurts, my whole body hurts....ARGH!
I have no idea who is going to be interested in my lively account of camp, but I have to complain, you know?

We had to sleep last night in a cave thing, with a overhang of rock, and it was on a slant. And at the bottom of the slant was a whole carpet of sheep poo.
We slept in sleepingbags on the top half of the slant, were it was just rocks.
Yes, you heard me - rocks! We had those foam mat things, but they are only 1cm deep. This girl in the my group had a "$900" sleeping bag which she couldn't get wet, and her mat thing was wet, so she squeezed in between my friend (Amee)and my other friend (Ella). So this girl, with the $900 sleeping bag, rolled and pushed Amee out of her mat, forcing Amee to crash into me, and which COULD have made me roll into Charlotte, who COULD have rolled into a whole lot of sheep dung. But that didn't happen.
Everyone complained, and Ella butted to yell and insult. The Girl with the $900 sleeping bag hit Ella and Amee, which in no means is a good idea, (well, Amee won't be retaliating hard,) Ella is very strong and she knows it - she said, quote - "She just hit me - She just hit ME!"
Amee is usually a nice person, but she threw a tiny fit and yanked the mat from under the girl and jumped over me and Charlotte to sleep nearest to the poo.
That made me the frontline defense.
So the girl started rolling onto mine. Everyone started yelling and saying (mostly me) "Get OFF", "MOVE IT", "Stop being a PAIN" and stuff.
I got my mat back. But I think Ella made the girl cry. that made me feel a bit guitly, but not much as I would had i not have had something to fight for, a.k.a., my mat.
The girl then wakes up next morning and says " oh i didn't get any sleep and my back hurts so baaaad"
Right. Ella had a little cat fight with her, and Charlotte broke it up by saying - "Ella are you constipated?"
That was smart.
Everybody had a good laugh.

But I do feel sorry for the girl, annoying as she is, because if she says something, Ella will always counter it. And if whatever she said is correct, everyone won't believe her just for the fact the it is her. And Ella has one unsensitive mouth... oh yeah

OK.
I'll shut up now.
NO I won't.

I have a problem. Should I carry on with my Live Journal and forget OtakuLife?
Will people look at my entries if I put the link up?
And I suck at HTML so Otaku.com is way easier, but you can do more stuff on LiveJournal.
Oh well, I 'll see what I do.

And I also had to catch up on episodes of YUGIOH which my mum recorded and watched for me. (Yes, my 52 year old mother watches Yugioh with me. She used to like Yami Yugi, and then Kaiba, and now she still likes Kaiba, but she thinks Joey's funny. Yeah.)
