The Ultimate Anime Character Battle
I got this ingenius idea today. I have been pondering who is THE most popular anime character, and just a bit ago I devised a way to do it.
A gigantic tounament must be held, and the participants shall be decided by you, the members of myOtaku. How the initial process of choosing the participants will go like this. To nominate a tounament participant, simply write the character's FULL NAME as the SUBJECT of a comment. There is no limit to the amount af characters you nominate, so simply pour in comments with all of you favorite characters, but just make sure to write a SEPARATE comment for each character. That will make it easier for me. I'll do a model one of Gokou. It's quite simple, really. The nomination process will go on until 64 worthy anime characters are chosen, and from there the tournament will begin.
I'm really diggin' this hott indigo color here! Anyway, begin the nominations now!

A Videogame Quiz
This is a new idea I had a while ago. Basically, it's the same thing except it is a Final Fantasy based quiz. Or maybe I'll branch it out to include a bit more...we'll see. Either way, this is going to be a SMOKIN' hott quiz that only really hardcore gamers will do well in. Again, I get these questions from memory, so please get your answers from the same place!
1. Name Sephiroth's sword
2. What is the the name of Squall Leonharts necklace?
3. What is the name of Barret Wallace's daughter?
4. In FFIX, what is the name of the Kingdom ruled by Cid?
5. What is the name of Sabin's martial arts master in FFVI?
6. Name three of the Turks in FFVII
7. In FFX, Kimahri is a member of the _______ race.
8. What is the name of Zidane's thieves guild in FFIX?
9. What is Red XIII's tribal name?
10. In FFVIII, Squall, Seifer, Quistis, Rinoa and Zell are from __________ Garden.

The answers AND a new quiz
The answers to the other quiz are listed below. Thanks for taking them, everyone! I'll try to make a few questions this time that will stump everybody~ Do your best, I'm gonna up the difficulty a bit!!!
1. Name three girls who live at the Hinata Inn in Love Hina
2. Who killed Shippo's parents in Inuyasha?
3. Two members of the Cowboy Bebop crew are from Earth. Who are they?
4. Where is Inuyasha when Kagome first meets him?
5. What series is the character Uub from?
6. For a very brief period of time, Vash the Stampede took a different name during the Trigun series. What was it?
7. Out of Melfina, Aisha Clan-Clan, and Twilight Suzuka, who was the LAST to join the crew of the Outlaw Star?
8. Which one of Inuyasha's parents was a DEMON?
9. In DBZ, how many forms does Freiza have?
10. The Anten__________ were a group of elite evil warriors led by Lord Hazanko in Outlaw Star.
I'll be killer impressed if anyone can get the last one!
Between everyone that tried the old quiz, every question was answered correctly. I'm impressed! Even though some people thought it was a bit tough, others answered nearly everyone, and the great thing is it seems like everyone answered from their own anime knowledge. That, my friends, is the way to be.
On this new quiz, I put some Inuyasha questions up. I cannot claim to be any sort of an expert on Inuyasha, it is really too long (long=expensive) for me to get into right now. I'd love to watch it on Cartoon Network, and I plan on doing so as soon as the series starts over. For the time being, however, I have put a few questions that I know based on the few episodes I happened to see on Toonami; they may be miniscule details or blatantly obvious story aspects. Really, this was almost entirely done at the request of lonewolf!
Here are the answers of the previous quiz. Thanks again to everyone who took it!
1. Spike Spiegel
2. Typhoon
3. Heavy Arms
4. Aisha Clan-Clan (she kills the other Ctarl Ctarl at the end)
5. Red Dragons
6. DBZ Movie 12
7. Gilliam II
8. There are eight Devils of Kimon
9. Ganymede
10. Faye first appears (and is captured) in Session 3, but does not join the crew until Session 4. Both answers were fine, I guess, but if you want to get real technical, Session 4 was the best answer.
I'm thinking of putting a gaming quiz one here too. That would be sweet. It would mostly be Final Fantasy/Squaresoft based- but that is for a later time. Alright, see you later!

Sunday=Football
If I sucked at basketball, football would be my main sport. I LOVE football. I play wide reciever. My favorite team is the Bills, and though we lost to our rivals in Miami, I'd say they're actually doing good this year!
Anyway, I'm almost embarrassed to admit that after all this time I still haven't beaten Lunar. Alex has just become the Dragon Master, Nash has turned on the rest of the group, and I'm just about to venture off into the Frontier. The story is awesome- there are so many twists! Definately get it. Now.
Another myOtaku.com user had this clever idea, and I'm thinking of copying it. The ycreate quizzes on their site, and then send the answers out at a later time. It's a novel idea, and I think I might just do it, although the turnout might be pretty crappy because everyone's in school, it's worth a shot, and probably will be pretty fun for the people who take it.
Screw it, I'll do one right now. Thanks for the idea, Vicious girl.
1. Which Cowboy Bebop character has different color eyes?
2. Vash the Stampede, the Humanoid__________?
3. In Gundam Wing, what is the name of Trowa Barton's Gundam?
4. In Outlaw Star, who wins the "Strongest Woman In The Universe" contest?
5. What is the name of the crime syndicate Vicious is a high ranking member of?
6. Which Dragon Ball Z movie did Gokou and Vegeta fuse together to defeat Janemba?
7. What is the name of the ship's computer in Outlaw Star?
8. How many Devils of Kimon are there in Ninja Scroll?
9. Where is Jet Black from?
10. What episode does Faye Valentine JOIN the crew of Cowboy Bebop?
Try to answer these from your own anime knowledge. If you look them up, that's just not cool.
I'll post the answers within a few days.
Peace,
~Flava

Monday, Monday...
Today has been a mix of good and bad, mostly good. But I'm not gonna go over today yet.
The basketball tounament was quite a let-down. Just because I was invited, I assumed that the whole thing was invite only. I was sadly mistaken.
My set was compised of myself, and two of the sickest ballers from my hometown. We killed our age bracket, and went on to win the upper division as well. I wish could brag about it, but you could probably find three kids that go to your school that could to well in this supposedly prestigious tounament. It wasn't a big deal. The reason I am bitter about it is because the victory was a the expense of my back. This whole issue has gotten out of control, so I'm scheduled to go in for an MRI scan Wendsday. I'm going to permanently eliminate this ridiculous back problem. But I have had enough of talking about that.
Today, I opened up my AOL account to find to promising e-mails. One is from a cute, interesting, and allegedly beautiful girl with the same interests as me that I met right herre on myOtaku.com. The other was from an old friend who has recently moved across the country. I wrote a very, very, VERY long reply to the latter, and right when I was wrapping it up the computer crashed. I could not suppress my anger; I was so heated I was close to snapping. Monday, Monday...
I was only able to overcome the near-overwhelming urge to crush my computer was by moving on to the other e-mail, and recalling that I had no homework today. I have to do some serious Lunar. It seems someone always barges in and asks me to play Soul Calibur II when I start to play Lunar. It is always and offer I can't refuse, ha ha.
That's all for today.

Oh, SNAP!
Somethings are going well, others aren't. Soon, I will gather all of the facets of my life and get them all under full control. I have a basketball tournament coming up this weekend. It's an invite only tournament, and I was the first pick for the first team, so it's a pretty big deal. We'll see if AAII and hours of practicing have helped.
Speaking of AAII, I've got to recommend it to everybody. I was doing a few sessions of it during the summer, but now I have started doing it everyday for 5 days a week (it only takes 20 intense minutes) and I have already seen improvements. I have good hops already, and though I can dunk with authorityy, I waant to get to that point where I just jump over two, three defenders and just jam it.
The thing is, I have this ever persistent back problem that has plagued me for over a couple months now. There's this acute pain in my lower back, and it gets especially severe when I strain my self doing something. I can't run as fast or jump as high as I should be. It is extremely annoying, but also very painful.
The final thing I am going to focus on is my fatigue. I'm exhausted...as a matter of fact, that's enough writing...

Need...more.......time......
In the past I have never done my homework. Not to set a bad example for any of you younger otakuites, but the most use I've ever gotten out of my hoemwork is to wipe my nose with it. I always score high on the test because I can rememer things well, but homework is just so boring I decided I just would never do it.
This year I'm planning on going about HW differently. The idea is to actually do it, but, since I've never really done HW before, I had no idea how time consuming it was. In combination with working out and doing Air Alert II, my free time is very limited. I haven't been able to play videogames or watch anime since the weekend. All I do is shoot baskets, lift, do Air Alert and finish my homework. Plus, my waking up in the morning ability is horrendous. Today, I slept in both my Math and Biology class. I'm exhausted and I still haven't lifted, done AAII, or done any of my homework. I'm ready to go to sleep and it's barely 6:00! I can't live like this...

School...
Going back to school wasn't too bad. The worst part was waking up so early. I'm in school at this moment - I'm supposed to be working...
I've unlocked every weapon for every character in SCII. Without my Mitsurugi skillz, the characters who emerged as my go to guys were Kilik, Maxi, and Spawn. Nightmare is pretty damn sweet too.
I'm in the Red Dragon cave in Lunar. Progress has been unusually slow, definately due to a big case of soulcaliburitis.
Today begins my workout program for basketball. Everyday, after school, I'm gonna start lifting weights, and doing these plyometric jumping drills. Maybe you've heard of it- it's called Air Alert?
Till next time~
