Make all your minutes count!
Is what I say
and I have 5 minutes
and I'm on here.
man, what a waste...

Now it's two minutes
took 3 to make that verse up there
and-Ooops! Time's up!
Class is calling my name!
Back in a few! with more interesting stuff ^_^

Random Thought of the Day

Why the hell am I posting on here? Do I really have nothing better to do?? I mean, there's that essay, and a research for my Jap class, and there's my daily exercise, and I still haven't eaten yet. But I'm still typing...

Well, yesterday I talked to a good and extremely religious friend of mine who tried to "save" me... again. I appreciated his concern and humored him for more than 2 hrs until 1am, and after I had enough, I bid my goodbye, and then wondered: Why do I repel? Is religion really that big a deal? He urged me to think about where I want my soul to go once my body dies, but I'm still stuck on what I'm gonna chow on after class today.

I guess what really irritated the heck out of me is that he thought I needed to be saved. From what? I still don't know, but I plan to do some research once I get the itch to learn more about religion. And it surprises me to say that since I was raised in an very religious family. Shows that the apple does sometime fall very far from the tree ^_^

HTML is harder than I thought it'd be, especially using styles.

It's been two weeks and I'm still trying to figure how to add a background pic to this page...

   The Chinese Buffet

Finally home with my Mom and Dad,
and sisters and cousins...
My brother's in korea
so he'll be missing thanksgiving

Thursday there was no turkey
and friday everyone was busy
so we were left with saturday
to enjoy a nice T.G. Buffet.

Mom says we might all just resign
to a chinese all-you-eat place.
But since guests are coming down
Will we also pay for their plates?

well, cooking would be such a hassle,
and a pain on the losers responsible
for cleaning up after everyone has gone.
Usually, I'm one of those losers stuck with that mission.

But that ain't all folks!
I also have homework
an essay to be exact
And I still haven't written down one word
or gotten straight all my facts

"Alright girl, just think happy thoughts,"
I'm repeating to myself right now.
and watching futurama helps lots.
But sleep will do a better job.

So to snoozeland I'm headed
and will be waking in a few.
I'm running on an empty stomach
and won't be conscious till noon.

Guess if I were to eat at this hour,
I'd be having an early breakfast...
Naw, I'll just wait until tomorrow,
leave in my belly ample space ^_^
for some amazing chinese cuisine.
Andyeah, I know I don't have much of a rhyming scheme
But this was fun,and now I'm going to lalaland to dream...*snores*

   Useless Ranting time!!

I talked to my brother earlier thru webcam. he's all the way down in Korea, and I so wish I was him right now: in a totally new environement, with very little homework to do and whole lot of free time.

Before I reach 25, I plan to go to Japan for at least a couple of months, and just get that out of the way. In fact, I'm minoring in Asian studies and getting a certificate in Japanese just to increase my eligibility for study abroad programs.

It's amazing how anime has affected my life in the past 6 years. There's been both positive and negative effects of this obsession, especially earlier when I first really got into it.

And I say obsession because many times I've pulled all-nighters on school nights just reading manga, I've skipped meetings with friends because it intervened with an anime schedule, and for about a whole year I put my social life on hold. But now, thanks to lectures from relentless parents, self-discipline, and a little bit of maturity, I'm passed that deeply obsessed phase. Although I still get really upset when I miss an episode of "Ghost in the shell"...

I'm watching Indiana jones #2, and remembering old times
When I wanted a black leather whip just like him.
I still do.

Harrison ford is so talented and looking so delicious in this movie. Him, Denzel Washington, Wesley Snipes and Travolta are at the top of my People-I-wouldn't-mind-gettting-their-autographs list. Don't get me wrong. I'm no groupie for actors, or autographs. I just admire them for lasting so long and being so flawless at their job. I have yet to watch a Harrison Ford movie I didn't like. Same goes for Denzel (I'm dying to see Manchurian Candidate).

For Travolta, I didn't really enjoy "Pulp Fiction." Couldn't sit thru it. But I can't sit thru Grease either cause I find myself dancing and singing whenever I watch that movie... Then there's wesley's "Demolition Man" that I never get tired of seeing, and no one can diss the Blade saga.

Ooooo!! "Prince of Persia: Warriors Within" looks so tempting. If I had the moola I'd be at Gamestop right now! but I'm broke and I don't drive and the nearest mall is about an 1hr away if I were to take the bus. So, i'll just mark that game down on my christmas wish list.

well, that's all the rant I have for now. Later days!

A product of extreme boredom on Thanksgiving eve.

It's 4:10 am, I'm watching Wolf's Rain, I just had an early thanksgiving dinner at my sister's friend's place, and I feel 20 pds heavier. I've got more pds to pack on since there's another TG dinner this Saturday that I definitely can't miss.

The Zzz are coming, and I don't feel like fighting 'em this time. Good Morning every1!

Feelin a little stresssssed.
Just chose my classes for spring
and can think of nothing else.
This year drove by and left me behind.
Am I wasting my time,
and the government's dime?

Most of my classes were a bore
And I'm no smarter than before.
Eh, maybe just a little bit wiser,
But definitely about 3 months older.
Did I mention my b-day's in December? ^_^

Met a few cool people
My social network tripled
But I can't find a single,
foremost purpose for my days.
I'm just counting the minutes away...

And that's what's going on.

Just figured I'd make it a poem since everybody else's doing 'em. But, as ya'll can tell,I'm no shakespearette.
