   Ch5 Stranger
Cloud was backed up against an alley wall, the supplies he'd been carrying dropped long ago. The misty wolf ran a human hand over his throbing head. A fair amount of blood was trailing from a gash on his forehead down into his face. The white wolf that had wounded him snarled viciously and advanced towards Cloud's shocked form. "W-what the hell do you want?!" He managed to choke out. "Her scent is all over you! Where is she?!" Cloud racked his brain trying to figure out what in the world the stranger could be talking about. Then it hit him, "You mean Aurum?" The wolf's ears perked up at the mention of her name but his fangs remained bared. "Where is she?!" He snarled again. The misty wolf shrank back at his harsh tone. "S-she's with my brother. Safe," He added as he noticed the wolf narrow his eyes at this. "Take me to her!" He barked. Cloud hesitated before answering, "Why should I?" Again the white wolf began to advance towards him. "Because, if you don't I'll kill you right here and now!" Cloud's eyes widened in fear. "Just as long as you promise not to hurt her." The white wolf stopped and laughed lightly. "That's the last thing I'd think of doing to his daughter!" Again he laughed. "He'd rip me to shreds the minute he saw me if I even scratched her!" Now Cloud was just plain confused. Who was he talking about? The misty wolf growled in annoyance. "As long as you keep to your word, I'll take you to her." He leapt up to a roof and motioned for the wolf to do the same and follow him.

Ronin growled as he smelled Cloud's fresh blood and saw a stranger following him. "Aurum, get back and hide!" He whispered to the light brown wolf behind him. She didn't need to be told twice. She knew just who this new wolf was and would be damned before she went with him. But leaving Ronin's side didn't seem like the best of ideas either, especially considering her injuries. Before Aurum could decide what to do, Cloud and the other wolf were already walking up to her and Ronin. The white and ebony wolf beside her growled as he looked the stranger over. Stopping at the light blue ring of fur around his neck. "Who the hell are you and what do you want?" The stranger narrowed his eyes at Ronin. "My name is Storm and I'm here to take Aurum back to her father," He said icely. Ronin snorted. "Well it seems to me that she doesn't want to go. Considering she's not jumping for joy that you've found her." He smirked. Storm growled but focused his attention on Aurum. "Please, come with me. Your father is worried sick about you and deserves an explanation." Now it was Aurum's turn to growl. "I'm not going back, Storm." "Yes you are. Even if I have to force you." He took a step forward only to be knocked back by Ronin's mighty paw. "Back off, bud. She doesn't want to go." He growled and bared his fangs as Storm snarled and leapt at him.


Woot!! I finally posted it!! ^^ Hope you all like it!! Again, I apologize for it's length but it'll get longer I promise!! ^^
