   AIMS.....
Yesterday was the start of AIMS testing. Which is okay with me, because I don't really get all worked up about it like some other people. But what really agitated me was the fact that on top of having to write a journal based third person story in two small boxes, we also had to write a one page or more story based on observing a single picture!!!! *screams bloody murder* WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS TEACHER?! SHE KNOWS THAT WE'VE BEEN WRITING ACADEMCALLY FOR THE PAST TWO FRIKIN' HOURS, WHAT'S SHE TRYING TO DO, KILL US?!?!

*sigh* And I would've been okay with having to write again, if only she hadn't givin me a picture of a bunch of slaves waist-deep in cotton. How mundane is that? Give me some dead guys, and I could write about a battle! Oh, and the only reason I knew it was cotton was for the subtitle at the bottom of the page. 'Cause if you ask me, it looked like a bunch of grown men playing in a sand box next to a barn. So over all, I had a pretty shitty day. Hope yours was better. 'Ta.

It was the accepted practice in Babylon 4,000 years ago that for a month after the wedding, the bride's father would supply his son-in-law with all the mead he could drink. Mead is a honey beer and because their calendar was lunar based, this period was called the honey month...Which we know today as the honeymoon.
