   HIATUS

Hey Minna-san! ^-^ Yes, I'm still alive and breathing (Thanks to God).Don't think I've forgotten all about you! It's just that with me moving to a new continent and all...yeah. University to start...but SATs to do first...ya know. Well, I don't want to tell you guys everything just yet...XP The weird thing is...my site is up for renovation...and I am SURE I didn't do that. I wonder what's up...(although I think there is someone who has my password...). By the way, my brithday's coming up! 18 years old...whoa. Aren't I old already -_-" XP. In the meantime here's what my mind's thinking: Yamashita (from NewS)! =^^= And thus friends and guests, you'll have to be patient for my posts and replies(not that I got any PMs and stuff).    A quite late update ^^

Konnichiwa minna! Long time no see! *Gives you all a bear hug* I haven’t posted in ages so this post will tell you some of what I’ve been up to. After 4th August, my DSL connection needed to be reset but since we share the DSL with our neighbours, they’ll only benefit if we paid for the 2-month service as we were planning to move. Turns out we didn’t find a suitable house. Why were we moving? My grandpa, who had a stroke last year, came to live with us. He said he’d rather be here with us than in Canada, where it’s medically better for him. We take care of him at home, taking turns. Mostly the males of our household do that job, massaging him, cleaning him, and feeding him. He’s in a much better shape than he was when he came. Last I saw him he was walking. It was so emotional for me to see his hazy eyes, the irises that now had a grayish-blue colour to them. I was close to him back then and he asked my name and I said, ‘Yes, it’s me’. I couldn’t help but hug him as he sat there supported by pillows. My dad and he had problems traveling here. Dad had no one to help him and the people—most just stared at him, those selfish mean cruel beings!! I got so mad near tears every time I thought of that. Cruel people… The first week or something we called a doctor twice to come to our house since my grandpa was complaining about his heart and chest, etc. Everywhere pretty much hurts him. Anyways, the second time we were told he should be kept in the hospital…but he’s okay. Takes a lot of medications everyday and two needle shots of something…(not sure what). *Changes subject to lighten up atmosphere* I’ve been watching anime, Asian music videos, and Asian dramas/movies on Crunchyroll! I got so addicted to that site that I find less time for The Otaku. So I apologize if I’m not around as much. It’s not like I forgot about you minna. And if any one of you needs to get in touch with me, just PM me or something! I’ll try to visit more often…although I do get lazy. So sorry about that and comments on submitted work. Ah, and I finally got the book Twilight! Yey it’s big! I am too engrossed in shows/movies/dramas to read it yet ^^”. Maybe when I’m bored? Also, I’m going overseas to Vancouver for college, in like a month or so. ^-^…-_-“ I’ll be the worst freshman ever. I am clueless! >.< Ah, and most likely I’m going to go into medicine. My uncle, who I’ll be staying with in Vancouver, is coming in like 2 weeks. He’ll bring me a Chinese outfit (yey!) and his laptop (now mine). XD Hmm…what else is new? Ah, our kitchen window has like 2 rats -_-“. Man, kinda cute (esp. face) but that rubbery tail? Yuck! They came inside last month and we watched them do acrobatics. They also chewed on our satellite-to-receiver cable! Now the signal isn’t as good -_-“. We don’t open that window no more. Ha ha. I had such a wonderful time these past two or three days! =^_____________________^= Thank you God! ^o^ I have more to tell you and show you but since this post was going to be WAY too long, I left all that (reluctantly) until next time.    More gorgeous pictures and a possible contest ^o^

I might as well have a posting schedule, ne? ^^ So I’ll try every three days a post. Like you Madarame2-chan! ^^ I didn’t watch that much anime lately. I did some searching/applying for colleges. However, I had more fun with DA. ^^ I have more pictures to share with you XD. Seriously I really need to give DA a break! It’s gonna fill my computer more than it already is!! >.< My grandpa’s coming to live with us. He had a stroke last year and it’s much better that I get to be closer to him for now. ^^ He’s coming with dad in about two weeks. I also chatted with my little buddy Domkippy and Madarame2-chan yesterday (i.e. it’s past 3 am now :p). I had fun working on my German and Italian accents by sending them voice clips! XD Unfortunately, Madarame2 didn’t have a microphone so I only sent him a voice clip. He said my pronunciation wasn’t as bad i.e. pretty good! ^o^ He sent me a PM with more sentences to work on and record, lol. My Italian wasn’t that bad either ^^. Dom-chan enjoys voice acting and doing little “voice” skits for fun. I like to do that too and now we’re having a sort of competition on doing a skit between 1-2 minutes, the theme being “restaurants”. Lol, it’ll be fun to use the funny “chipmunk effect” (i.e. speeding your voice X100) and other stuff in this competition. :p I was thinking of having sort of a contest like we’re doing but on my Otaku page. If you guys think it’d be fun to exchange silly voice clips, let me know! A challenge could be “who can make the funniest 20 second voice clip”! Then I post them on my Otaku page and everyone votes!
