Brief Background: Quick to anger and highly competitive (especially against Yuki), Kyou is an outcast in the Sohma family, but it's not because you can easily rub him in the wrong way. Born in the year of the cat, he bears a grudge against the Sohma house for not accepting him into the zodiac. But despite his tough guy exterior, he really is a sweet and caring guy.

Whether he's working for the Mikage clan head or helping out Watase's heroine, Aya, Toya is a very elusive character.
