   Chapter 1 of AEGFF!
An Extremely Goofy Fan Fic shall finally have the first chapter up! Remember, this won't be like a Disney movie; I'm not making this so that it'll appeal to small childs.

Chapter 1

Max yawned as he crawled out of bed, grumbling to himself. He had woken up at 6 AM again; he'd been doing so since his dad had first barged into wake them up the previous year. Fortunately, his father hadn't come and bugged him for a while. Grinning, he threw on his red, short-sleeved hoodie and his jeans. P.J. and Bobby were still asleep, and would be for some time. Max usually took this time to practice his skateboarding; after all, class hadn't started again yet, and he needed something to do.

"See ya later, guys." Max whispered as he left the room, picking up his skateboard, pads and helmet and closing the door. He had a tendency to skate through the halls; no one was awake to catch him. He headed down toward the cafeteria, his skateboard rolling quietly along the floor. When he reached the cafeteria, he got himself enough food to sustain himself. To his surprise, someone else was already awake; it was a girl, and she looked exhausted.

"Hey! Mind if I sit with you?" Max called, surprising the girl. She nodded, her long black hair covering her face. He smiled, wheeling over to the table where she was sitting. The girl was sitting over a thick, leather-bound novel, and was reading away. He smiled to himself; he'd never seen a bookworm like this before.

"Is it a good book?" Max asked her, looking at what she was reading. It looked like it was in another language; it probably was, because nothing looked even remotely like english. The girl nodded her head, then put a bookmark into the book and slammed it shut. She moved her red-streaked, black hair out of her face, revealing her shiny brown eyes. She had a pale complexion but had a lot of freckles somehow.

"It's a very good book… pretty interesting for being in French. I never knew that Quasimodo had such a sad life." The girl replied, smiling at Max's awestruck face, "my name is Tera. What's your name?" She wasn't exactly what Max had expected for a bookworm. She was wearing black, spiked bracelets, a neck ribbon, and a baggy, grey t-shirt that had the phrase "14 Love-less" on it.

"Uh… I'm… I'm Max. Nice to meet you, Tera." Max replied, a little surprised by how calm she was, "so, why are you reading The Hunchback of Notre Dame?" He was a bit confused, as he'd never even dreamt of reading a book that large, let alone getting halfway through like Tera had done. She smiled at him, and picked a bagel off of Max's tray. Before he could protest, she took a bite out of it.

"Well, it's nothing like the Disney movie. It's a dark story, about a hunchback who falls in love with a beautiful gypsy. It's much more tragic than that silly kiddy movie." Tera said , swallowing the chunk of bagel, "anyway… you're a skateboader? Maybe I'll go check ya at the skate park. If I finish my book, that is. See ya, Maxie!" She called as she walked away, the bagel in one hand and the book in the other.

"Yeah… see ya." Max said, a bit surprised that she'd called him Maxie. The only person who did tha was his father… 'Oh man!' He thought, 'she must've already met my dad! She probably thinks I'm a total loser!' he smacked his forehead, and ate the rest of his breakfast quickly. Once he finished, he headed back to his dorm room, where P.J. and Bobby were.

"I'm gonna have to tell them about this… it'll make for something to talk about other than the X Games…" Max said to himself as he wheeled down the hallway. This girl… Tera… she definitely looked like she was better at things other than reading. Little did he know how right he was at that moment.

Chapter 2 will come out in a week, just like Chapter 2 for Fake Wings. Writers need their breaks, you know.
