AEGFF, Chapter 19!!!!!
The X Games are here at last!! HA HA HA!! Before you get to the end, I'm reintroducing three characters; P.J.'s parents and his little sister. Their names (If you don't know) are Pete, Peg, and Pistol, respectively. Anyways... ENJOI!

Chapter 19

Max hardly left Tera’s room in that time period; she didn’t mind that he was there though. One day, when he went training, Tera’s friends came to visit. They brought flowers, and a home-made card that said “We’re really sorry for thinking you’d be okay on your own on the Extreme Route!” Tera smiled at them, but still punched them in the arms. Then, she noticed a list behind Frankie’s back.

“So… you got it for me?” Tera asked, grinning when her friend smiled. She hugged her, then took the paper. It was their line-up for the X Games. No one had been put in for Tera’s extreme luge run; Bobby was put in for her extreme skating though. She smiled, and scribbled her name in for the luge. By then, her back had healed, but her leg was still badly fractured. ‘I’m glad I can shave… it’s gonna be really hairy once this cast is off.’ She thought, handing the form back to Frankie.

“Don’t tell Max about this… I don’t want him to worry about me.” Tera smiled. Her friends knew they couldn’t change her mind; when she set out to do something, she did it. She’d been telling them that she was going to conquer that Extreme run once her leg was healed. They admired her stubbornness, but were constantly worried because of it as well.

“Hey there Pete!” Goofy shouted, opening Anna’s front door, “c’mon in! We’ve saved you three seats.” Pete mumbled something Goofy didn’t hear, and slipped past him, followed by his ex-wife Peg and their now 14 year old daughter Pistol. She’d taken her hair out of the pigtails, and had currently dyed it green. Her mother, Peg, whom she currently lived with, said it was fine, since she wasn’t doing drugs. Anyways, they sat on the couch, next to Anna. She’d only let Goofy and Ms. Marpole into her house for one reason; their kids were on the X Games and this way, they’d all be able to watch their kids.

“Nice to meet you, Pete.” Anna said, shaking Pete’s hand, “you’re P.J.’s dad, right? He’s a good kid, that boy of yours.” Pete grinned and mumbled something like “yeah, I know”, and sat down, Peg and Pistol sitting on another couch. Hana and Sora, who had also come to see it, sat on the floor, and turned on the T.V. after fighting over the remote. Goofy smiled and tripped over the couch, fortunately landing on his butt next to his girlfriend. Once the T.V. was on, they were able to catch the commentary.

“The last team is Team 99, made up of Max Goof, P.J. Sullivan, Robert Zimmeruski and Tera Aoki. Unfortunately, since Tera broke her leg in a skiing accident, she won’t be participating…” The commentator stated, oblivious to Anna strangling Goofy on the other side of the T.V., “oh, what’s this? It seems Miss Aoki is going to be participating in the Xtreme Luge!! Since that requires no use of one’s legs, Tera is perfectly capable of doing this event.” Anna apologized for strangling Goofy, and fixed up her hair again. It seemed that she didn’t even notice that everyone was now staring at her.

At the X Games, Max, Bobby and P.J. were shocked. Tera had signed in for that event without telling them. She hobbled up to them with her crutches, looking a little ashamed. She explained that her event was first, and that they’d be disqualified automatically if she didn’t do it. Max nodded, but put a hand on her shoulder. He assumed the sudden blush was from the cold, and thought nothing of it.

“Tera…” Max said, smiling, “don’t lose. If you get hurt up there, I’ll kick your butt!” She grinned and nodded, before hobbling up to the podium where the other members of the Xtreme Luge were. There, she saw Chadwick, once again. He grinned, and tried to shake her hand, but she just slapped it away.

“Save that for the first date, if you win.” Tera said bluntly, frowning when he grinned. She dropped her crutches and hopped over to her team’s starting place, lying down on the luge. Chad’s team spot was next to hers. He blew her a kiss, but she pretended to vomit and looked down the slope. The ref walked over, holding his pistol in the air.

“On yer marks… git set… GO!!”
