Bizarre Love Triangle, Chapter 3!!!
Bleh, I didn't know what to make Naruto, Kiba and Hinata do... so I didn't put them in this time... SORRY!!
Chapter 3
Moroi, Tataku, Takatobi, Yuki and Rei-sensei were already halfway through Cloud country, quickly approaching Konohagakure. They’d been making a lot of progress since they’d left the village hidden in the clouds. However, they were a little alarmed to feel the approach of chakra. It was fast. Rei looked behind them, only to see a strange looking creature behind him. He threw a kunai at the thing, and it moved out of the way, but in a manor so choppy that it couldn’t have been a human. Then, it was right next to them, and he recognized it immediately.
“A puppet?” Rei-sensei said in surprise. Then, he heard the sounds of fighting behind him. There was another puppet there, but Moroi had apprehended it. Tracing the chakra strings, he found the puppet master. He was a strange looking boy; his hair looked as if it had been blown dry by a leaf blower. He was wearing odd looking red face paint around his eyes that went across his nose and down to encircle his thin-lipped mouth.
“You guys killed Raikage, right?” The puppet user said, looking over at Moroi, “we saw that kid kill him.” Rei looked at Moroi again, who was too busy fending off the puppet to notice her sensei looking at her. He fired a kunai at the puppet master, who moved one of his puppets up to take the strike. It hadn’t been harmed; somehow, the kunai had been deflected. A girl with long, sandy blonde hair had appeared from nowhere, brushing her short cut bangs from her eyes.
“We can’t let you guys leave, then.” The girl said nonchalantly, as if the entire idea of fighting them bored her, “you’re a threat to society.” Rei-sensei attacked the girl, only to find his path blocked by the puppet again. It was easily brushed aside, only to find that the girl was gone. She was making hand seals, but was interrupted by Tataku punching her in the gut. Even though he was slow, it seemed as if she’d missed him entirely.
“Humph. These guys will be no trouble.” Yuki said, biting her thumb and rolling up her sleeve to reveal a strange tattoo, “Kyuchiyose no Jutsu: Hitokage Tsurugi!” Then, she rubbed her bloodied digit up the tattoo and slammed her palm into the ground. No sooner had she said it, a large, snow white salamander had burst forth from the ground. The two opposing shinobi were surprised, only to find themselves at a loss of words when the great beast spoke.
“Two cloud shinobi? Bah, these guys are weak. You could’ve offered a better snack,” The salamander, who had been introduced as ‘Tsurugi’ mumbled in his rumbling voice, “but a meal’s a meal. Should I eat those wooden things first?” The puppet master frowned, and moved the puppets in for an attack. The salamander blinked, then opened its mouth. Suddenly, he roared loudly, a gust of fierce wind and snow bursting forth. The puppets were torn apart, and fell scattered on the ground. Both shinobi had been knocked from the tree, and were now sitting stock still in the recently created snow.
“I’ll spare your lives if you help us kill the other kage,” Rei-sensei smiled malevolently, “you two are missing nins anyway; I saw you in the Raikage’s bingo book.” The two shinobi looked at each other, before reluctantly agreeing. They’d introduced themselves as Guujin and Haruka, two ex-cloud shinobi. Rei had smiled, but it had changed to a frown when he looked at Moroi. If they’d have been hunter nins from cloud… they’d be in big trouble. He’d have to discipline his student later.
Sorry it's so crappy... I promise it'll be better next week!
