AEGFF, Part 2, Chapter 21!!!!
Well, here's Chapter 21! I added something else to provide interest instead of just the crappy date thing. ENJOI!

Part 2

Chapter 21

The semester’s finals were coming up in a few weeks, and Tera couldn’t really believe how fast they were approaching. It was difficult to study with Chad constantly hovering over her, reminding her of their date in February. She’d managed to lose him and get to the library, where she could finally study. Her tests were going to be hard. Then, she heard a familiar voice calling her over.

“Max! Where’ve you been? I haven’t seen you since New Year’s!” Tera smiled, sitting down next to Max. Bobby and P.J. were sitting at the same table, studying for their own classes. However, they’d stopped briefly to speak with their friends. Apparently, the judges were studying the finals, because the Gammas were infamous for foul play. However, they hadn’t turned up anything quite yet.

“I hope they find out soon; I really wanna see if we would have won!” Tera smiled, mentally adding that she wouldn’t have to go on the date with Chad if they did. They all returned to their studies, occasionally stopping to talk for a while. When they did, it was usually about the X Games. However, sometimes it would turn to different subjects. After several conversation twists, they had ended up talking about ice cream.

“How do you go from the X Games to ice cream? Not that I’m complaining… ice cream’s good.” P.J. smiled, drooling slightly on the books. Ms. Marpole came by and shushed them, telling them to be quieter. Tera turned to see everyone was staring at them. Suppressing a giggle, she nodded at Ms. Marpole, who smiled and left. She dropped a paper, but didn’t seem to notice. Tera spoke up about it, but she didn’t seem to hear her. Quickly, she stood up and grabbed the paper, looking at it. It was a form for a play.

“Hey, check it out!” Tera smiled, showing the flyer to her friends, “it’s a flyer for a play! It’s called “All Boy’s School.” It says it’s about a girl who disguises herself as a boy to find out if the new teacher is actually her long lost father! Doesn’t that sound neat?” The others shook their heads, stating that it sounded lame. She frowned and told them that she was going to try out for it. Then, she stormed off, forgetting her books.

“What a goof.” Max grinned, “she forgot her books. I guess I’ll have to return ‘em to her.” He smiled and picked her books, as well as his own, and left the library. P.J. had already figured out that Max wasn’t just doing this to be nice. Bobby still hadn’t quite grasped it yet, but he probably would eventually. But… it was Bobby; he couldn’t use his brain to help him out of a paper bag.

***
Max arrived at Tera’s dorm later that night, only to hear her saying some pretty strange things aloud. Mostly consisting of things like “I’m a boy! REALLY!!” and “My chest is sensitive, you dolt!” He’d almost considered leaving, but something inside compelled him to open the door. Once inside, he found Tera standing in front of Joyce in a boy’s school uniform. She looked over at Max and grinned, dropping a script on her plushie covered bed.

“Hey Max!” Tera smiled, waving at him and gesturing for him to come in, “I got the lead role in that play! I play a girl named Lily, but she decided to call herself Phil at the boy’s school. Isn’t that awesome?” She smiled at Max, who nodded. Then, she got a worried look on her face. He asked her what was wrong, and she began to do her explanation of how no one would come to the play.

“My mom’s gonna be busy, and Sora and Hana will be working in their barber shop!” Tera bit her forefinger nervously. Max looked at her, realized how upset she was. She would probably be the only one there who didn’t have anyone to watch. So, Max walked up to her, placing a hand on her shoulder.

“Tell ya what… I’ll go to the play to see you!” Max smiled. Before he knew it, Tera had hugged him tightly, burying her face in his chest. She was saying “thank you” continuously; only Joyce had noticed his blush. She didn’t point it out, and watched as Max stumbled out of the room, completely forgetting to return Tera’s books. Besides, she was too busy memorizing and practicing her lines to notice he’d even brought them.

Well, hope you enjoyed! Don't forget to review both stories!
