   AEGFF, Chapter 33!!!!
Here's AEGFF! Writing the song was hard, and it prolly sucks, but you guys are the judges... so yeah. The chapter may look a bit longer... but it's just 'cause of the song.... anyway, enjoi!

Chapter 33

Tera had stayed up late editing her song; it just seemed lame every time she’d reread it. However, she had settled on a song after several changes, and finally went to bed. The next day, she woke up early and headed off to the House of Mouse, asking some of her classmates to dump the stuff she would miss off at her dorm. Fortunately, Huey, Dewey and Louie would be there as well; they needed to practice the song as well, since they’d be playing it with her.

“Thanks for coming, you guys,” Tera said when she arrived, tossing her coat onto a chair as she rushed in with her guitar and a piece of paper, “I owe you so much for deciding to help me out.” The ducks didn’t say much, so she just decided to start off. She played her guitar slowly and softly, her voice seeming to match. For a moment, they’d been expecting a soft ballad. However, she slammed on the guitar, getting as loud as she could, yet still maintaining sad softness in her (loud) voice.

Once she’d finished the song, the ducks told her how good she’d done… or at least, that’s what she thought they’d said; like their uncle Donald, they seemed to speak in an incomprehensible way that only they could understand. It seemed they’d liked it –she’d understood that part. So, they began practicing, playing the song until it seemed to fit with her vocals and guitar.

“Thanks so much, you guys!” Tera smiled, now that they’d practiced for the last few hours, “you guys were a big help… I hope we do good on-stage tonight!” She smiled and ran off, almost forgetting her coat on the way out. The ducks smiled, high-fiving each other; it seemed they’d found themselves a lead singer.

Max had been invited to see Tera perform; he’d managed to suck P.J. into being a replacement valet for the time being. He was sitting at a table by himself; Roxanne hadn’t been able to come to the show that night. However, he knew she’d be able to come to Tera’s play that Sunday. After all, they were going together. Mickey Mouse popped up on-stage, introducing the musical guest that night; Tera Aoki, playing with Quack Sabbath.

“Thank you all!” Tera shouted, wearing a formal looking suit up on the stage, “I was playing violin outside, and I guess I’m supposed to play and sing inside for you guys tonight. I hope you like the song; I wrote it myself as an epitaph for my brother and father. Hope you guys like it!” She looked a little nervous, but it seemed to ebb away when she began strumming the guitar. After a few moments of interlude, she opened her mouth, and began to sing.

“I need someone to talk to; I know that you’d listen to me. We were close, but now, you’re gone; your face is what I see…” Tera sang, the song beginning slowly, before drumsticks were clicked together and the band began to play at a much more upbeat tempo, “I wish I could’ve saved you… I guess I was too late. I couldn’t help our dad either; we’re all victims of fate.

“But I’ll stay strong,” Tera sang, the song slowing down momentarily for the chorus, “and I’ll carry on, ‘cause I know you wouldn’t want to see me in pain. In my heart, you’ll stay, now and every day, ‘cause I know that’s where it’s all okay… in my heart.” The song resumed it’s upbeat tempo again, and there was another moment of interlude. Tera winked at Max and continued on, rocking out with Quack Sabbath.

“Without you two, I stumbled, I couldn’t bear to fight
The sorrow that I felt for you; I cried every night.
But now I know you’re safe, ‘cause you’re now with me.
And maybe we can all wake up, and this’ll be a dream!” Tera said the song happily, the chorus partaking in the fast tempo as she sang it twice.

“Okay, maybe it IS real, and you’re gone for good… But I’ll stay strong and cheerful; I know that you two would!” Tera grinned, the song still flowing nicely, “And I will stay strong, and I’ll carry on, ‘cause I know you wouldn’t want to see me in pain. In my heart you’ll stay, now and every day, ‘cause I know that’s where it’s all okay… in my heart” The song slowed down again, and it was definitely at the end now.

“Maybe someday… I’ll find a way
to see you both again… but for now…” Tera sang, smiling at the audience, “I’m glad you both reside… in my heart…” She held the last note for a moment, the group bowing to the applause of the audience. Max even cheered, and Tera’s heart swelled.

“Thank you, and have a pleasant tomorrow!” Tera smiled, waving at the audience as she left, where she was hounded by staff and visitors alike, asked to go on stage every week; it seemed they’d really liked the song, although she hadn’t thought it was very good. Max came up and congratulated her last, saying that she had to have a lot of guts to be able to get up on stage.

“I can’t imagine ever doing that.” Max smiled, “If you’re that great singing, I can’t imagine how great you’ll be acting in the play!” She blushed and said he was over-exaggerating, but took him up on the offer to ride back to the dorm in his jalopy; she’d walked to the House of Mouse… and she REALLY liked both Max and the vehicle.

Hope you liked it! Feel free to talk about the crappy song I wrote for Tera to write. Critcism is appreciated, so review, please! If you read the story to get to this part, at least.
