Hi, this is Akiko filling in for Em because her computers messed up at the moment.

Next challenge will hopefully be sent out on Friday, keep checking your inbox.

The winners of the short romance story or short story romance poem are up.

1)Akiko44- her reading level throughout the whole poem was 12.0 Congratz.
2)Tohmalover14- very nice story. Loved it. 2.1 reading level(congratz you got higher than what I normally do!)
3)hinata-tenten521- great poem. ^^ ANOTHER 12.0 POEM!!!!! Congratz too!

Don't feel bummed because yours got a low reading level. The poems are shorter and its easier to write them.(well from my stand point it is. I'm sure you all did the very best you could). Well Thanks for reading.

Also, today Akiko44's poem will be posted today. And then over the next couple of days we will rotate to Tohmalover14's amazing story, and then Hinata Tenten's equally good poem. Keep checking back guys.

Riding Hoods Charming Wolf.

On a stormy night it does start
A tale of old, taken to heart
Fairytale whistles slither through dreams
The tale of Maiden Red and her charming Wolf
Was simply more than it once did seem

Riding cape adorned the wind
Held tightly, Saftey pinned
Thickets of thorn and tree
Blocking the path of Maiden Red
Narrowing distance thy could see

Wearily walking along the path
Hands held a walking staff
Basket tumbled and jumbled along
Along the path with Maiden Red
Humming a werewolf song

The shadows crept and she lost her tune
Errie light seeped from blood red moon
Far in the distance a wolf was heard
Blocking the path of Maiden Red
Light drowned out by a Raven bird

Stumbling along with her walking stick
Running the path far too quick
On trees root her cape caught
tripping but caught by strong arms that wrapped
Drowning eyes of jewels, silver wrought

A cheshire smil slinked on his lips
As she straightened he released her hips
She eyed him wearily from whence thee stood
He, blocking Maiden Reds path
Whislt tugging flirtaciously upon her Red Riding Hood

"Alone in the dark, I see my dear"
For seconds she pretended not to hear
"Allow me to guide you little miss!"
He began to lead Maiden Red down the path
He was rough and handsome, but followed by mist

With path opened of tree and root
The talked through various owls hoot
Now red was no expert on love, you see
Tho' heart was won by Wolf in sheeps clothing
She sighed dismay when Gran's cottage was spied through tree

Silver wrought eyes became fearful
with a kiss of the cheek and a whisper of "I must go"
He was gone swiftly, leaving a line
Of dust retreating from Maiden Red's path, as well as
Not but a single rose, with leaf, on a vine

Now sad and dreary, she still went
Into Gran's cottage to return what was lent
T'was not long before a knocking came
A huntsman, traveled from the path
With blood on face, and one eye lame

With heavy pack be stumbled in
Giving Maiden Red a leering grin
Upon the mantle he thrust down
His heavy pack, next to Maiden Red
"Caught me a wolf stealing sheep in town!"

Words that turned Red's blood cold
But to ask, to question would be too bold
Far long hours later the Huntsman slept
As well as Gran and the forest creatures, but for
All of that Maiden Red wept

Indeed t'was a wolf he had caught
But one with beautiful eyes, Silver wrought.
