Yo! My name is Joe!
Heh. That was a song I learned when my little brother was a cub scout (actually, I just felt like saying yo. See? YO!!!).
I forgot to say this, but it's important-ish because it's anime related. I watched "Steamboy" yesterday. It's an anime movie in Japanese (English subtitles) set in England. It was okay. It was about this little boy who is an inventor. Long story short, he saves the day. But the plotline was at least a little interesting, and a handful of people die (so it's not completely Disney - that's a good thing). I kind of thought of it as a kid's action movie (sort of, but the dying bit probably makes it to an "older kid" 10-12 year old range). My brother (13 yrs old) liked it a lot more than I (15) did. Did anyone else ever watch that movie? If so, tell me what you thought of it... I'm curious.
So, on that note, it looks like Howl's Moving Castle is still the best, most touching, cute, and funny anime movie I have ever seen. And much of the qualities I just described for Howl's Moving Castle, I just realized, is much the same for Furuba. GO FURUBA!!!
I took a couple of Padfoot's quizzes. Here ya go:
Heh. Try this one without capitalizing your name. It comes up with really funny pictures.
But I have to admit, this looks most like me (except no glasses, my cats are gray, black & white, and black, etc, etc).
