It's me~!
Hello, dear friends of the Otaku!! It's been so long... I've been running around like a loon on Livejournal and basically rambling nonsense at other people for a while. But I had to come back to post my Halloween picture, and I'm really pleased that I did. XD

I've just been and read the lovely comments that people have written - it's such a change from the 'Ooooh, that's out of proprtion / drawn bad / not my favourite character' comments I've been getting recently. I always knew I could count on theOtaku for support~! *sparkle*

Ahem... You'll have to forgive me as my brain seems to have broken recently. If you want to read all about my adventures over the past month or so then you can do at my LJ. You should be able to find me; my user name is oh-so-inventive. Lol.

Aaaand, that's all I'm going to write at the moment. I might be back here shortly - I've got some more J-Rock art to post and some random original stuff... But that hasn't gone down as well as my other work so I might spare myself the pain~! Lol. Anyway, if you want it, let me know.

I really, really have to sleep now. And my exhaustion is the reason I am giving for all the utter twaddle I'm writing. ^_^

Sorry, and goodnight~!

QUOTES OF THE DAY: Top Gear (A few of them, to make up for things...) Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May - the cutting edge of cocking about!

Jeremy: "Rise, Toybota!"

[on James May's Cessna 182.]
Richard: How rubbish is this thing if I can't even lift a chocolate bar to my face without it crashing into a mountain?

Jeremy: Captain Slow is up there in his washing machine. I will not be beaten by a washing machine.

[on quitting his smoking habit]
Jeremy: In recent weeks, the need of nicotine has made me angry with everything, including trees.

James: You utter pirate!

Richard: We're not brilliant at this are we?

Jeremy: The thing is, it's a gearbox, okay? It has one job to do! One job! Pull the lever... "Am I a pencil? Am I a cauliflower? Am I a nuclear power sta-- I'm a gearbox! Oh, heavens, I'm gonna swap some cogs around!"

Richard: James, we are grown men playing conkers with caravans.
James: That's okay. It's better than working at a bank.

[on Richard's return to the show after his 300mph crash]
Jeremy: Anyway, listen. This is the big question. I guess everybody wants to know. Are you ready? Are you now a mental?
Richard: No!
[the audience laughs]
Richard: I'm not! I'm fixed! I'm completely fixed, and normal, and healed. Thank you. What are you doing?
James: I thought you might need these... [hands Hammond tissues] ...in case you start dribbling.
Richard: That's all I've had for four months...
James: What? Tissues?
Richard: No! People hanging around just watching, waiting for my eyes to point in different directions and for me to go bonkers. I'm fixed, I'm normal.
Jeremy: Are you the same person that you were before?
Richard: Yes! I mean, the doctors were worried, because it's brain damage, you know... personality change or whatever, but... no, the only difference between me now and me before the crash is... I like celery now and I didn't...before
Jeremy: So you're still shouty? You're still fighty?
Richard: Yes...
James: And if I take you to the pub, are you still going to want to punch me in the face after 15 minutes?
Richard: Yes, though that's, to be honest, more your personality than mine.

I bring art~!
Hell again. I've just uploaded the picture of Chris that I mentioned, and also a couple of others. Beyblade's Hiromi and Miyavi can now be found in my fan art, too~! Please go and take a look. ^_^

I'm thinking that I'm going to change my theme again soon. I fancy something a bit pink... The again, I'm so high on Resident evil at the moment that I'd quite fancy something Biohazardy... Anyway, I'll have a think and then do it. Y'know, I really should spend some more time on myOtaku...

Anyway, got to go~!

I'll see you soon!

Erm...
Okey-dokey, so it's been a while. Sorry. I keep getting distracted by things... and... though I hate to admit it, I've been posting on my Livejournal. I know, I feel like a traitor... Anyway, I got into a fight with some people over there who were crticising my artwork... I don't take kindly to that and I bloody well let them know it. Might have gone a little overboard though... ^_^ Hey ho.

Still, no one really visits my livejournal either. I'm nice to people and comment and stuff but apparently I just suck ^_^ Oh well. I can't help but keep writing. I mean, I'm a little random about when I do that but... I have such a bad memory that keeping a blog actually helps me!! Hah.

My dad was talking about people's blogs the other day. "You read other people's diaries?!" he asked. Mom just gave him THAT look. "If they're on the internet they're not exactly private, are they?" Hah. They've both got a point. Why do we leave our most inner thoughts out there in the public domain? It's seems odd... For my part, I just like keeping track of the things I do and sharing thoughts with people I wouldn't ordinarily have any way of communicating with. It's not like I spill everything here, anyway... ^_^

Ooh, that was a bit grown-up.

Away from that... I've been playing on my Resbox (that'll be a Gamecube to normal folk) again. I'm just addicted to Resident Evil again. I'm writing a fanfic, too... Haha. I know, I laugh at myself. It's about Chris when he's drifting from town to town. He ends up in Raccoon and meets... Barry Burton! Just so you know, it's not a BarryxChris fic, no matter how much it might sound like one! Haha... You can find it here if you want to. ^_^

Please don't blame me if it ruins your day...

I guess that's it for today. I've got knots in my stomach from something I'm bidding on... I'm not saying what it is... I just don't want to tempt fate in any way. But there's still five days of hell before the auction ends... No~!

Ah~! So little time...
This'll be just another quick update today. I've been at work for hours on end and my sister's been hogging the computer so I don't have much time to write >_<

I got more deliveries today! This is the last of them for a while, though I enjoyed recieving many a parcel! Today I got the SWEET TRANCE booklets from 2000 and 2002. Yup, more attractive pictures of FAIRY FORE... Yummy. And they're absolutely huge - A3 size! I knew they were meant to be pretty painful to scan but I didn't think they'd be that big! I am very impressed with them. All I have to do now is try and find the one from 2001... More spending >_<

And August is an evil month for me money-wise. In one week I've got both of my sister's birthdays - one of them being an important 18th- plus my cousin's and my old boss' birthdays... and a wedding to buy an outfit and present for! I'm going to be so poor~~!

Maybe I should try not to spend money so thoughtlessly...

...

It won't happen, will it?! I want to buy Romeo's album (Kajinaga Daishi's new band) when it's released in August, too. And I have to finish paying off my computer... I think I need to win the lottery!!

I also need to stop being so lazy! I've got loads of little projects I need to finish (such as [scarred], and my letter to the wonderful Lewis who lives in Scotland, and I need to tidy my room - I sound like a child!) but I keep getting distracted by my computer. Hey ho. They'll get done eventually ^_^

Righty-o. I've got to go now. I've got to go to work tomorrow so I need an early night... Well, I need not to work... but I need to earn money... Grr.

Goodnight x

P.S. This post sounds a bit disjointed and weird, so I apologise for that!

Waaaaaaaaaa~~~!
Oh my God! Think I'm going to die!! YOKO answered me~~~!! Ahh~~~!

Okay... breathe... YOKO was the drummer of FAIRY FORE. He's got a blog that I read all the time because his posts are always so damn funny. And in his post on Saturday, he was writing about summer. I left a comment saying how summer in England was yet to occur as it was only raining. I also asked him what his favourite season was and mentioned that mine was Autumn...THEN...

I read his post from today and at the bottom of it he mentions Rainy British summers and says that he, too, likes autumn!!

Dear god, I think I could die... My hero acknowledged me!! Waaaah!

I think I have to go and faint now... I'll update tomorrow when I can breathe again ^_^

Night-night x

G-Virus? No, that's just my sister...
I got addicted to Resident Evil again today. I'd almost forgotten how much I love the games... I can't remember what made me think of it, I just know that I suddenly had a urge to spend the entire day playing through all the games... I didn't, but it would have been damn fun!

I'm way excited about Resi 5. Chris is back! Yay! And he's so old... ^_^ It's meant to be set 10 years after Raccoon was destroyed which makes him 35. I kinda like him being a fresh-faced pretty boy! Haha! Okay, so he's more handsome than pretty, but still...

The trailer looks really good, though Chris looks like he's taken on more than he can handle. And is the girl meant to be Sherry? Methinks so. I hope to god Wesker's in it! His and Chris relationship is one of the most interesting things about Resi. Plus, Wesker's just super-evil ¬_¬

And I'm too damn impatient to wait for it~~!

If you want to see the trailer, go here.

~~ Random change of topic...

I ordered Dragon Hunter yesterday. I really hope it works out. Tokyopop are releasing the English translation so slowly that I've already bought a French copy of the next volume! I'm such a moron, but I just love the series. Owning the Korean books will be awesome. If somewhat painful to try and read...

Maybe heero yuy would like to translate them for me..? I can feel the dark aura of his outraged objection already! ^_^
Just kidding, just kidding... ^_^

~~More randomness...

It's nice and sunny at the moment. My computer's by a window so it's nice and relaxing with the warmth of the sun on me... Ah, bliss...

I am just rambling now, so I'll be off. I leave a question in my place though... How did you come up with your myOtaku names? Just wondering...

Hmm... Huh?!
My Korean Dictionary / phrasebook came today. It's only little, but certainly handy. I've been looking for a full-on Korean dictionary for a while now (and yeah, this mostly stems from Dragon Hunter) but haven't been able to find a really good one so I settled for this. It's good enough for the basics (which is a good place to start ^_^)...

I've learnt how to write 'gasarasrevolution' in hangul (Is there no end to my talent?!). I still completely don't understand the language (apart from what I've picked up in Dragon Hunter - which isn't really helpful in real life!) but I do want to try and get to grips with it - even if it's just a little. But it's complicated and hard~~!

Oh, and I want to wear a hanbok ^_^ I know, I come out with the oddest things sometimes...

Aside from more Korean-ness, today has brought with it more rain and more work. The assistant manager at the shop I work in was really concerned that I wouldn't make it home if the roads flooded (I live in a small village out in the wilderness ^_^ The rivers often burst their banks in bad storms and then the roads get blocked...). She made me phone home to make sure that it wasn't too flooded! Bless.

Actually, that caused oddness... I was sitting downstairs in the staff room while I was having my lunch and I decided to call my sister. I mean, I know you can't get any signal down there but I tried anyway... She answered and I started asking if she knew if the roads were clear but after about three seconds my phone cut off. I figured I'd finish my lunch (I had a mini cheesecake - that was more important ^_^) and then go back up and use the phone in the office to call her back. So I sat there, happily eating my cheesecake-of-wonder when Karen called from upstairs that there was someone on the phone for me. I glanced between the stairs and my cheesecake, hesitating, then finally gave into sense and trudged up to the office.

Who had called? Jayme. She had a shake in her voice and was almost in tears... When I'd called her all she had heard was a muffled few seconds of a garbled message and then the line went dead. She was so concerned that something had happened to me that she was nearly crying with worry. I reassured her that I was fine and felt awful that I'd scared her. I mean, it wasn't my fault, but I probably should have called her straight away instead of focussing on my cheesecake ^_^

I gave her a big hug when I got home (the roads were fine after all) and we laughed about the stupidity of it. But I really can understand how it must of sounded to her. Bless. ^_^

So there we are. My day consisted of hangul, rain, cheesecake and not being kidnapped.

It was a nice day.

P.S. It rains in Korea during summer just like it does here, too. ^_^

English Summer Rain...
I fell in love today. Twice, actually... In the space of about 10 minutes. Does that make me fickle?

The first man that made me swoon was a wonderful Korean guy by the name of Jong-Han Pyo. He might be just about the best human being in the whole world at the moment - to me, at least... As some of you may know, I'm completely in love with the Korean comic, Dragon Hunter. I've been trying to buy the original Korean books for a while now but Korean websites aren't open to foriegners... >_< Anyway, I got in touch with one website (with a really hashed-together Korean e-mail) to ask whether there was any way someone outside of Korea could buy from them. And that's where Pyo-nim comes in...

I got a reply today from him saying that it was indeed possible! I can pay by bank transfer. ^_^ Yippee! I've been after these for so long~~! And Pyo-nim's e-mail was so nice... And so I fell in love!

Man-of-the-moment number 2 happened a little after that... I'd gone back to work after my lunch amd someone came to my till. I wasn't really paying attention at this point - I just took the things he put down, put them through the till and in a bag, and then looked up to get the money. And my heart skipped a beat! Haha... And for the oddest reason! You see, he smiled just as I glanced up and for a second he looked exactly like Taito (ex-FAIRY FORE)!! I nearly melted!! I don't really fancy Taito but... it was just one of those moments... ^_^

It was a happy day! It obviously doesn't take much to please me... ^_^

On a side note, the weather's been awful again! It's done nothing but rain really heavily. The lanes were flooded on the way home... and I've got to get to work tomorrow... If it gets any worse... *sigh* So much for summer! Hahah. Then again, this is England...

Well, that's it from me. I think I'm going to go in search of cake...

P.S. My stuff from Yahoo! Auction has finally been sent out. Hopefully they'll be here soon! Yay!

So slow...!
Yesterday I was using my sister's mobile (cell phone) to update myOtaku which was way handy! As it happens, I then got my own phone ^_^ Mine is even handier (is that a word?) 'cause I can connect it to my PC and use it as a modem to get dial-up at home! It's free for 10 days si I'm going to make the most of it... It's slow though... and my battery dies after about an hour! But it's better than nothing!

So why don't I just subscribe to broadband? After all, it'll be cheaper in the long run, right? Yes it will, but I can't afford all the initial set-up charges (phoneline connection, installation, line rental and broadband...). That's why I still don't have the internet at home. It's such a pain...

But one day, I will! And then I'll be able to leave interesting posts and spend more time talking to people and leaving messages on their sites. Limited access is sucky!!

Anyhoo, for now I'll be able to update a little quicker... I just hope I get a better job, soon!

Oh, on a random note, I'm way excited about the new band, Breakerz! Akihide's playing guitar again!! It's just a shame he's not singing anymore...

Well, I'll see you for now!
