Ohayo Gozaimasu!

Yay! Our new doujinshis have arrived! They're so awesome! They're all Beyblade ones, and drawn by some of the best circles of artists so I'm soooooo pleased!

I plan on stealing Beyblader's idea and giving you a tour of my house. I had a camera left over from my trip and started taking photos of random things - things that will probably traumatise you! ^_^

Erm... I'm sure Tomyo wants to say hello 'cause she hasn't written on her account for a while. She's fine if people are interested - spending all day at home eating and watchin TV. It's not fair...

See you!

Hello again!

Ra! I'm back again! So, what to tell you about my trip? Hmm... we took in the gorgeous British countryside, went and saw some sights, which included - amongst traditional historic buildings, abbeys and such - a car driving backwards through the middle of a field and a naked man at a service station. It was all fun! ^_^

We weren't really there for that long. We spent most of Friday and Sunday driving, so there was only Saturday that we really went out. The weather was amazing - yeah, in Scotland - and it was great seeing my sis and soon-to-be brother-in-law again. They're as mad as ever.

Erm, that's actually pretty much it. It was more fun than I seemed to have explained though - well, yeah, random naked man running around a motorway cafe?!

I have to say a big thanks to Malin and her friend who have made me swoon with their niceness! ^_^

And... that's about it. Pretty avarege so far today. Still tired and still hungry. Best go get something to eat.

See you later!

Man Alive, It's Hot!!

Jeez... so warm... I've just finished work and am desperate to get home... Close to seven hours in the car on the way down from Scotland yesterday, a six o'clock start this morning, blazing heat, and a party from work in a cramped room in said blazing heat... and work tomorrow. Mwah!

I got flowers from work though, which was nice. ^_^ I don't have time now to go into all the details of my weekend. Or the energy. I hope you all have a nice night / morning / midday - whatever time it is where you are!

I'll see you tomorrow!

Och, aye... Wee bonnie Scotland!
Hello! I'm in a new country! We drove for about six and a half hours yesterday from the midlands up to near Edinburgh. With only Tomyo and the 'rents for company, I steeled myself and came out of the journey a better person. Or it might just be because we're (that'd be me and Tomyo, not me and the people in my head) getting FIVE more doujinshis!! Yay! Everyone go 'woo'!

After some tense ebay moments, my bidding friend let us know yesterday that we'd got all that we bid for! I'm so excited!! They're all Beyblade ones, and darwn by excellent artist circles - Utageya, Mugensaika and Gakkasai - and one of them is even 80 pages long! Apparently they were being shipped yesterday so they should be here soon! ^_^

Yeah, Scotland's cool, too. We decided to give Edinburgh a miss - too much going on there we think - but spent today driving round a bit. Tomyo and I went exploring this awesome abbey, our older sister (who lives here now and thus is the purpose for our visit) got sunburnt, and my dad kept getting lost while mom gave him directions. It's a pretty standard thing for us actually...

Anyhoo, I'd better go and be a little less anti-social now. Already it's been a profitable trip - got a pair of jeans from Gemma (older sis) and the Killers album, in return for public humiliation by buying her the new Backstreet Boys album. It's a fair trade, methinks... ^_^ By the end of the weekend I also hope to have the Rasmus album, her revised version of the Razorlight album, and her computer in my possession. I'll dress Tomyo in a giant coat and she can smuggle them out... ¬_¬

Here, I'll let her say hello seeing as she's been sitting here being my editor for this last post...

HI

Wow, such enthusiasm on her part there. Oh yes, but me writing on this is depriving her of precious time looking up pretty boys with guitars... okay, just given myself a reason to leave now. Luna Sea, here I come!!

P.S. Beyblader, sure thing! I'll punch anyone you like!! Hehe.

See you when I get back to England!

Woke, work, home, sleep...

Not much point of an update - you know how my life is! Dull!

Tomyo's got her prom tonight, I've got a date with a sofa and TV (wow, can you feel the excitement). Heading up to Scotland tomorrow to raid my older sister's fridge. Erm... and yeah, that's about it! ^_^

See you! Have a good weekend!

Woo, I can draw!!

So my hand's healing nicely. I can use it again now - which is a both a blessing and a curse. It means I can draw again, but it also means I have to actually do stuff at work... ^_^

Live 8 was really great. I know it has a bigger meaning, but as a concert it was fantastic. Razorlight, the Killers, Travis, Kaiser Chiefs, Linkin Park... It was all just so great! I have to admit that Robbie Williams was awesome, too - he's such a showman. And of course Peter Kay, who managed to get the whole of Hyde Park singing along and marching to Amarillo! The man's a genius!

Of course I watched the London gig, but saw the highlights of the US one, where Linkin Park and Jay-Z stole it for me. Encore / Numb was so awesome, and Mike looked so happy rapping with Jay-Z!! I imagine him as such a fanboy... ^_^ Though the Kaiser Chiefs were also amazing, even if they did leave the US audience a little bemused as to who the hell they were!

That was pretty much how I spent the whole of my Saturday - pretty sad, ain't it?! Oh! And Wimbledon. Well, Bryan-Bryan (as they're known to me) managed to get to the final, which was pretty cool, but then they couldn't quite make it. Bless. They've always got next year!

Erm... that's all I have to say at the moment. I'm off to Edinburgh to see my sister at the weekend. It'll be a bit hectic from the lingering effects of the G8, methinks... Hey ho!

Have a good day! ^_^

My stupidity knows no bounds...

Erm, yeah... It's kinda difficult to type today due to the fact I had a disagreement with a saucepan last night and burnt my right hand >_<

It was so stupid!! I was cooking dinner and a saucepan had gotten hot, and I just happened to grab the handle to try and pick it up (?! So stupid of me!) and burnt all my palm... Hehe. Oops.

Now my hand's all bandaged and sore and 'cause I'm right-handed, I can't do much at the moment!! I can't draw 'cause I can't hold a pencil! It's so annoying! And yeah, it hurt like hell when I did it but at least it's not as bad now... I knew I could be a little idiotic at times, but I never knew I was so foolishly careless!! ^_^

Hey ho, at least I can type (well prodding at the keys with my left hand is hardly the greatest typing, but still...).

So, how are you all? This is all I can be bothered to write at the moment, so I'll be off. Luckily, I can still eat cake one-handed! ^_^ I deserve something to make me feel better, don't I?! ...Regardless of the fact it was totally my fault in the first place. Oh well... Cake!

Woohoo!! 100 Pages!!

Hey hey! Not the best quality scan again, but that's not the point! I've just drawn the 100th page of Bishounen Hunter!! Hehe. ^_^ I'm so proud. Page count isn't everything, but I'm glad I've made it this far!!

Still, not much has happened - some drunkeness and fun with puppets (and naked Rei! ^_^ Not, that you can see anything...)! I think I'm just putting people off it more now...

Oh, random dude in the picture is the Bar Bishounen, Jun. He owns the bar where Kai and Rei drink. He's an OC, but a minor one so I let him into the doujinshi! Hehe.

Erm... not much else to say. There was a ******* of a thunder storm last night! I was scared out of my mind - I hate thunder, you see. As a result I barely slept and now I'm really tired... and have to go back to work now. >_<

I'll see you later!

QUOTE OF THE DAY: Delziel and Pascoe (English detective show - guy has been killed on a golf course by a pretty nasty blow to the head. Delziel and Pascoe are talking to the autopsy guy for the report.)
Autopsy Man: "It appears the blow was caused by a sand wedge."
Delziel: "Must've been a bloody stale one."

Hehe... made me laugh.

Ho hum...

Not a lot to write again today. Tomyo's getting two really cool FFVII Zack / Cloud doujinshis - can't wait to get them! My old PS2 is dying and my new slimline PS2 won't read PSOne memory cards which means that unless the old PS2 gets better, I can't play any of my PSOne games >_< And erm . . . well, that's about it. All the Brits are out of Wimbledon so I'm now cheering for the Bryan brothers in the doubles. They're American, but I've enjoyed watching them play for the last few years. I'll be an honourary American for a bit!

That's all for today! Go draw me a picture!!!

QUOTE OF THE DAY: My life.
Tomyo: "You're not ill - You're Irish!"

Okay, this one needs an explanation. You see, I'm really pale and am cold all the time. I've come to the conclusion that I'm a zombie, but Tomyo seems to think that it's more to do with my Irish roots (my dad's side of the family are Irish, and I guess I've got Irish features - green eyes, brown hair that shines ginger, and fair skin.) So hence her exclamation - "You're not ill - You're Irish!"

Ugh...

Dear Lordy! England has returned! The weather's been nice this last week or so, but today it decided to revert back to normality. Rain. And my God, what a lot we had! Firstly, I had to go out, on my own, during a thunderstorm! I'm terrified of thunder, and actually being outside in it was horrible. >_< And the lightning was awful - it literaly just kept flashing, almost like a flickering bulb. I was a bit of a mess when I got to work...

But then, Wimbledon's on at the moment, so we HAVE to have rain. It's like law! And speaking of, poor Tim's out already! Bless. It's the first time in ten years he hasn't made it into the second week. And Rusedski lost in his first match (sorry, Beyblader, we nicked your countryman!) so that leaves us with the 18 year old Andy Murray from Scotland. I just want to be alive when a Brit wins Wimbledon! ^_^

Anyhoo, not much else has happened. I finished work at two again today - yay! Thankyou rain - there was no one in, and therefore nothing to do! But why'd it have to bloody thunder?!

Well, that's it - I'm off now! Have a nice weekend everyone!
