Scrumdiddly!

Mmmm. Forbidden Rei . . . He's cute with his hair down, right? Well, take one last, lingering look. For Beyblade G Revolution is no longer being shown over here. Sob!! They usually stop a series half way through, repeat it for a couple of months, then finally show the end - but this is G REVOLUTION and I can't wait!!!
Sigh . . . Who knows, though, it might be on the weekend after. I surely hope so! We were only a couple of episodes away from the tournament final. Way to leave us in suspense!! Okay, so I know who wins, but I still want to see the battle! And Rei hasn't been in it for two whole episodes!! Looks like I'm going to have to turn to Jet Li for some sexy, Chinese, kung fu action . . . Actually, that makes me happy!!

Hehe. I'm writing a load of nonsense again. Oh well. I've spent all morning setting up a Beyblade gallery on the internet. So far I've only managed to put up a selection of official G Revolution pics. But there'll be more to come. If anyone wants to take a gander (erm, that's to say take a look . . .), let me know and I'll put up the address. For now though, I'm going to go pay bills!! Sigh . . . I'm so poor. Woe me, for this is a hard life for a 19 year old anime fan!! I wanna spend all my money on anime and manga - not bills!!

See you around!!

QUOTE OF THE DAY: My life.
(I'm eating a French bread stick - I LOVE bread, you see.)
Me: "Bread rocks!"
Mom: (Being funny) "Bread rolls."

Good pun, huh? Huh? Made me laugh for hours. But then, I bet that doesn't surprise anyone!!

Boggy Happy!!

Ra! How are you? I'm amazingly happy today. It's been raining like hell, my hair's gone as frizzy as an afro, and I've still got four hours of work left, but I just don't care!!
I got a call today from someone who ran the course I was on. While I was doing it, I was asked to make a poster to promote what they did. I did a huge anime-style thingy (and made Tomyo colour half of it in!) and they put it up. Well, they want me to do another one for their office in Burton! Now, that's great by itself, but . . .
The guy who called, Kev, is working with a musician at the moment. And this music-man has toured America and things like that, apparently he's very good. And he was saying to Kev that he wanted a manga writing to promote him (or something - I don't know all the details yet) and Kev showed him my pics on the Otaku, and this music-man's asked to meet me to see if I'll do it!!
Hehe!! How AWESOME is that?! Someone wants me to write them a manga!! Yay!! God, I hope it all works out, 'cause that you just make my year. Only thing is, I don't think I'll get paid for it . . . but to be honest, I don't care. I'm just so happy that someone likes my work so much!!
Yipee!
Ahem. Erm . . . yeah, about that pic above. It's actually a drawing of the crazy little guy from Medabots (I can't remember his name). I was watching it once, and this character reminded me of Daichi - this was before I'd seen G Revolution - and I was trying to show Jayme (Tomyo) what he looked like. She hadn't seen it, so I was trying to draw him to point out the similarities. Okay, so he had hair like Ozuma, but his personality was all Daichi. Anyhoo, my point is that I love this little doodle more than most of my pictures!! I'm serious. It's got a hell of a lot of personality!! Hehe! It still reminds me of Daichi now!!

Anyway, I gotta go now. Work awaits. A lunch hour just isn't enough time!! Mwah!
See you tomorrow!!

QUOTE OF THE DAY: Waiting for Godalming - Robert Rankin

"A SILENT explosive?" Icarus made a face of grave doubt.
"Latest thing," said the captain, drawing out a stick of something dangerous-looking from his pocket. "The SAS use it all the time. It goes off without a sound. You've heard of gelignite and dynamite? Well, this stuff's called-"
"Don't tell me," said Jonny Boy. "Silent nite."

Beyblade G . . . Gravitation?!
It's all Tomyo's fault. That's the simple truth. While playing about on T'internet one day, she managed to stumble across screenshots of a certain anime. These ever-so-interesting scenes (particually interested to Tomyo and her . . . indulgences) spawned an obsession that is now spreading.
Instantly, she wanted the Gravitation mangas (check!) and then the series ( . . . kind of check!) but now . . . I'm a fan too!!
Okay, so I really like the manga anyway (let's face it, who can read it and decide it's not good?!) but she made me watch a music video for the anime today, and now I want to see it REALLY bad. The first volume's on order, so hopefully it should come soon.
Yup. It's all Tomyo's fault.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: Can't remember the title of the book . . .
"The sun rose slowly, as though it wasn't entirely sure it was worth all the effort."

Hehe. Me like that!

My God, G Revolution rocked this morning!! Hehe. Kai and Rei's battle was cool - and Rei went all floaty and his hair came loose! Me like me like! But, his eyes also started glowing, and I couldn't help laughing every time Bryan spoke in his comedy voice . . !
I tried to add an image here if Rei from G Rev, his hair unbound as he's sitting in a crater after battling Tyson - it didn't work. But I can't wait for this episode. Just what is Rei so angry about? Could it possibly be to do with the endless love-squares of Beyblade?! Methinks so . . .
I'm writing a load of crap again today, but I'm very G Revolutionalised (if that's a word - which it isn't) and I want to see more! Tomorrow's episode is Rick Vs. Daichi. Not really as appealing as Kai and Rei, but I'll still be up mega early to watch it! Actually, I've started watching Zoids in a morning now. Tomyo used to watch it before school last year, but I was too lazy to get up. Now though, I've been watching it and it's really good. I like Irvine's approach to life. He just doesn't seem like he cares!
Oh! Wanna know something very sad (as in uncool)? I bought a Driger G! I'm happy 'cause I kinda like collecting beyblades (although they just sit in a box and do nothing) and it's the first G Revolution one I own. Well . . . it made me gleeful!
Okay, I'm just embarassing myself again now! I'm gonna go and search T'internet for some scrummy pictures of Sugizo from Luna Sea, and Kiriyama from Battle Royale!
God, Japan kicks ASS!!

QUOTE OF THE DAY: Beyblade (. . .)
Bryan: "You're going to have to hand over Driger sooner or later, so why not quit now?"

Does anyone else get the impression that his voice actor id taking the mick?! Hehe.

Okay - I Lied!!
Yeah, it's me again. My COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) course finished in 45 mins - it was supposed to go on for 7 HOURS!! Meh. I don't need to know about all that anyway!
So, as a result, I'm stuck in town until my bus comes, so I thought I'd mosey on down to the library to go on internet. Actually, I'm glad that I did because I got to liston to 'No Style' from the Gravitation OVA again today. I'm not happy though, 'cause I think I'm starting to like it . . .
Oh, I've also just been watching the Go Ahead opening over, and over . . .
Saturday's G Revolution episode is Kai's battle against Rei, so I'm massively anticipating that. Although, I figure that the dub will have been completely cut of violence, meaning that it'll be an entire episode of flashbacks or shots of the crowd . . . sigh. Why can't they just leave it uncut?!! Stupid people!!!
Hm. I'm really cold sitting here. For some reason I chose to wear a sleeveless top in the September in England . . . I'm really moronic. Still, I've gone so far beyond cold now that I can't really feel it. That's numbness, right . . ?
I can't wait 'til Friday. There's two Jet Li films on - Cradle to the Grave, and the Enforcer - so I'm very happy. I love Jet Li. I really like the old Chinese films he does, like the Legend. I love watching him twirl round and kick stuff while his long black hair dances wildly behind him . . . Actually, that kinda sounds like someone else . . . hehe.
Anyhoo, I've gotta go now. I'm feeling very queasy - I've been snacking on Haribo Starmix sweets all morning - and I need to go and buy a cheese scone!! Probably not the wisest choice . . .
See ya!!

Eep! Gotta go!!
Subject says it all! I just wanted to stop by and say hello. "Hello."
Right, done that now. I gotta get back to work. Sheeesh, I'm tired . . .
I won't be back for a few days. I'm off round the most vile places in England to do a job course. Pity me. I'll see you all on Friday, though. Or, at least saturday.

Ra! I'm a viking!!
Jeg bor hos min onkle. Sorry, I've turned Norwegian . . .
The pic of Kai has a random title that was decided by Matraw - but I like the word 'wandering' so I kept it (Tomyo - hehe!!)
He also wrote half of the message underneath the pic, so that's why it doesn't make sense!!
I'm off home now to watch the third volume of G Revolution that had just arrived from America (Go Matraw!!) but it's just started raining, and I'm going to get drenched. *sigh*
Oh well, lots of love and Nordic ramblings!!
