Switchblade!
I've had 400 visitors, I'm ranked 100, I'm back on the top rated artist board, and I know what the Beyblade song's called and who sings it!! Kinda cool. Okay, the first three 'good things' make me sound pretty bigheaded (Tomyo will say I am) but I'm just pleased that people like the Shadow Hearts pic. I had serious doubts as I think I am the only person in the world who has played it. And as I lost my copy of the game, I had to buy it again on Saturday. I've missed it so much - sob!
Anyway, thanks to Cartoon Network's Beyblade Saturday Superstars thing I now know that the song from V Force that I've been looking for is called 'Switchblade' by Jack and Asher Lenz. Wooooo! I'm off to go and search for it on the web now. I'll be back later to celebrate or moan, depending on the success of my mission! See you later.
QUOTE OF THE DAY: Final Fantasy VIII
Invisable Monkey (I think): "Loser! Moron! Your mom wears a shellsuit!"
Isn't that the best insult?! Hehe. *shudder* eugh . . . shellsuits . . .

Happy Beyblade Day!!
Hiya all, how are you?! Fine and dandy, I hope. I'm in a pretty good mood today as it's 'Beyblade Day' on Cartoon Network and they're showing most of V Force. Of course, the episodes only go up to Itzy Bey-Itzy Spider, which is the last one we've seen so far, but there are going to be new episodes on at Christmas - Yay!!
It's also good because they're actually showing the proper endings, the ones with the song titles, so I should soon know what the mystery song it. Of course, I'm not watching at the moment because I'm in town, but I've calculated that I should be home in time for the episodes with the new songs and I've reserved the TV!! Hehe, I am so sad - but this has been driving me mad for ages!
I've uploaded (finally) my picture of the London Rats from Shadow Hearts. I don't think anyone'll like it because I don't think anyone knows the game that it's from!! Shame, it's one of the best games, with the best soundtrack ever! *breaks into song* "Hoshikuzu no sabaku ni . . ."
It's a good job no one can hear me . . !
I watched the second episode of Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 this morning. When we watched it before, we started watching from the fourth episode, so one more to go and I've seen the whole series. Do I sound like I've got a split personality?? I mean, me and Tomyo watched it!
Speaking of which, Tomyo's uploaded a really cool pic that she drew of Hitomi from Escaflowne. Don't be fooled by her different appearance though - it's from the boys manga, and all the characters (and story, and just about everything) are redesigned. The manga was written, based on the anime when the show was in production. Usually, the anime's based on the manga. Anyway, it's a cool pic so check it out.
Erm, I think that's all I have to write at the moment. Jayme (Tomyo, whatever the hell her name is!!) keeps proding me to show me new pics of Kai that she's found. And the Japanese G Revolution DVDs . . .*drool* They're region 2 so they play on English DVD players (yay) but they're NTSC, so they play on American TVs (D'oh!), or in black and white on English TVs . . . Still, I'll probably still try to buy them somewhere!! Hehe!
Adios! (A little homage to Steve from Resident Evil - Code: Veronica. Aww)
QUOTE OF THE DAY: Tomyo
(this will make sense to no one - or will make the sense of none?!)
Jayme: "If the book don't come tomorrow, then we'll have to go find the lake!"

Where's Wally?
I keep popping up all over the place like where's Wally?! I'm just letting people know that I've updated the Go Ahead lyrics to the full version. As I'm not fluent in Japanese, I don't know if the spellings are right, but I have modified them a little bit for easier pronounciation! I'm nice, me. I've also added a little picture of Kai from V Force above this post for Tomyo to drool over, and to point out that I am not anti-Kai as some peeps might think!! I just prefer Rei, that's all!! Hehe.
I'm gonna go now, thaw my hands and eat some toast. Then I'll probably laze about on the sofa in front of our open fire and ponder over what I could get Tomyo for Christmas. I once wrapped up a piece of coal and gave it to her! Yes, it was meant as a joke - I bought her a decent present as well!! Hehe. Anyway, I'm off now. Catch you later!
RANDOM QUOTE: Resident Evil Nemesis
Carlos: "All the foxy ladies love my accent!"
(*rolls eyes* Who wrote the script?! Hehe)

Thankyou!
Firstly, thanks to the people who responded to the little Rei/Kai debate. The results so far are even, so we still don't have a winner for the debate! There's been two votes for Kai, two for Rei, and one who liked both! Hehe, looks like we'll just have to agree to disagree (I hate that saying!).
I also think that this would be an appropriate thing to mention, too. In the messages between Tomyo and myself, there are quite a few insults. I just wanted people to know that we are sisters, and it's done for comedy mockery purposes only! I didn't want people to actually believe that I beat her!! So worry not, the RSPCC is not needed!
Hmm. That was responsible of me, wasn't it?
RANDOM QUOTE: Outlaw Star
(Gene and Hilda are faced by a giant mechanical, murderous threat)
Gene: (incredulous) "Against that?!! And I can't use my gun?!"
Hilda: (matter-of-factly) "Well he isn't using one."
I'm sure I was going to mention something on here, but I've totally forgotten. Oh, I have decided to bully people for information on ALL of the V Force songs (or at least the one I've heard). I don't know what they're called, but I've dubbed them 'Underground', 'Underdog', and the one that goes something like 'always be in the game and keep going, nobody said that life would be fair'. I tend to get addicted to songs that I have no hope of hearing! Sob!
Martian Successor Nadesico is starting on the Sci Fi channel sometime this month. I can't wait as I've always wanted to see that. Of course, it means that I have to get up at some crazy hour to watch it! Sigh! So lazy . . .
I'll leave now, but will probably be back later. Here's a joke quote from Teen Titans (well, it's kinda like an anime!!) Au Revoir!
QUOTE OF THE DAY: Teen Titans (please forgive spelling mistakes in alien words!)
Starfire: "How many Okarans does it take to hogi a Morphlark? Finbar!"

Rei or Kai?
Okay, peeps, Tomyo has thrown down the gauntlet. She is asking who is better, Rei or Kai? It's something we bicker over when we're bored, or when Kai loses to Tyson, and it's never truely resolved. Personally, I prefer Rei - he's got cool hair, pointy teeth and is just a cool character. Tomyo drools over, sorry, prefers Kai. I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with Kai as I think he's an excellent character (and half Japanese/ half Russian like my beloved Yuri! Or . . . Russeurasianese as we once discovered) and I tend to draw him a lot, but the long-haired Chinese dude is the one for me. Comments on this would be appriciated as I would love to get under Tomyo's skin, and she would love to keep bringing up the American tournament. Thankyou!!
RANDOM QUOTE: Beyblade (again, I don't know the exact wording)
Tyson (to Kai) "You're always like (imitate's Kai's voice) 'leave me alone'"

Bonjour!
Hello, it's me again (the head). Hope everyone's fine and dandy. I guess I am, a little tired but when aren't I?
So anyway, the reason I haven't posted in a while is that nothing has happened (granted, that never stopped me before) and don't get me wrong, nothing's happened now, I was just missing the otaku, that's all. Hehe.
One of the reason's I'm on now is that I was going to scan a really cute picture I painted yesterday of the London Rats (the gang from, you guessed it, Shadow Hearts) but the computer's really slow today due to some weird problems so I figured it would be better if I didn't push the capabilities of it! In any case, the people in the library usually glare at me 'cause the scanner makes such a noise! Sigh . . .
Wooo! That was a Beyblade-specific wooo as the Gamecube game was released on Friday so I bought that and have been playing it all weekend. I'm a bit addicted to it . . . I do find it a bit weird though how Daichi's in it. Hopefully the movie's gonna be released . . . I'm a hopless optimist! Oh, and Cartoon Network are finally going to start showing the second half of V Force soon! I'm desperate to see how it ends . . . (no spoilers please!!)
Heh, in my advent calander today I got a robin. What? Just 'cause I'm eighteen doesn't mean that I can't have an advent calander!! What better way is there to countdown to Christmas?!
Speaking of which, mom's making turkey stew today. It's kinda tradition that after the turkey for the Christmas dinner, we then have turkey sandwiches and turkey stew for about three months afterwards. For some reason, mom's already starting the turkey fetish. Hehe.
It's always at this time of year that I get addicted to Delia's Winter Collection and have an urge to recreate everything she cooks. Of course, that has dire concequences. . .
Oopsies, I've started rambling again. It's probably time that I left again, huh? As usual, I'm ending this with a quote and a plea for info on the Beyblade song I keep ranting on about!! Take it easy!
QUOTE OF THE DAY: Crapcom - a discarded Resident Evil short story.
(Leon's moping over Ada)
"As usual, it took a severe bout of Pocket Fighter to vent some frustration, and then calling Aeris 'Ada' in Final Fantasy VII and killing her in random battles"

Leon's back!!!!
Konnichiwa!! Blimey, it seems like I've been away for ages! Okay, so it's only been two days, but when you live in a tiny village in the middle of nowhere, it seems like forever!
Well, anyhoo, I'm gonna add a liberal sprinkling of quotes through this post 'cause there's been a couple that have been making me laugh and I feel they just need to be shared!
Ooh, and badness. I've just spent a fortune . . . but it involves Outlaw Star and Beyblade (amongst other things) so I shouldn't really care!
RANDOM QUOTE: 'Anime-niacs' - a short story
Little Muse: "I am the moustache of evil."
What?! I didn't say they were good quotes.
Anyway, I took a trip to Nottingham with Tomyo yesterday and it was . . . wonderful! I kinda collect anime/games figures and bought a couple more to add to the collection. These were Gene, Melifna and the Outlaw Star (complete with grappler arms!!) and the three heroines from Final Fantasy x-2, Yuna, Rikku and Paine. Tomyo also bought an Escaflowne manga (and refused to release her death grip on it until she went to bed). So, it was a very cool shopping spree-
-and it probably should have ended there but I just went into town and bought Absolution, Muse's new album, and ordered the Beyblade boxset. Oops.
RANDOM QUOTE: Escaflowne manga (Hitomi POWERS the Escaflowne in this incarnation
Van: "All right, Allen. Quit flirting with my battery"
The Beyblade boxset only contains the first six DVDs of the first series (so far that's all that's been released) which is about half of it, but it still had to be bought. *shakes head* Gotta sort my finances out.
Nothing else really happened yesterday. We all monched a McDonalds 'cause we're too lazt to try and find something to cook. Mmm . . . tasty. And I keep destroying my Ridepod in Dark Chronicle. . . and who really cares?! I'm sure you're all desperately interested! Hehe.
RANDOM QUOTE: Escaflowne manga (Van is really short in this incarnation)
Dilandau (to Van): "You would need a ladder to say anything to my face"
Also, I don't know if this stripy effect will work. I guess I'll find out when I actually post this. I don't know whether to stay long in town. I've got nothing to do in town, and it's now my mission to find the English language Beyblade song. If Cartoon Network would show the right ending, it wouldn't be a problem as it says the names of the songs in the credits. Grr . . .
Oh, and Rhitorica's back, (thanks Beyblader) so that's another cool thing. And that has nothing to do with the subject of this post. Her name's not Leon! The subject's in reference to the fact that Leon S Kennedy (the slightly sarcastic dude with a knack for boomsticks) is back in Resident Evil 4 - thankfully without his ginger curtains and dodgy chin. Hm.
So, on that note, I think it's about time I left now! Below is the now traditional quote of the day. Today it's from Tyson, a kid after my own heart! Take care!
QUOTE OF THE DAY: Beyblade V Force
Tyson: "Well we can't just sit here and do nothing! Although . . . come to think of it, that's what I like to do the best."

Mmm . . . Squall
The last couple of posts have looked a little girly, so sorry if that offends any manly eyes. I just like purple.
Anyway, I'm in a good mood today for a couple of reasons. One is that I'm very Beybladed up as I've been watching some music videos with clips of G Revolution in it. God, I really need to see that series!
Secondly, I ordered Squall's pendant (the one the main character of Final Fantasy VIII wears) in February and it finally came yesterday! Yippee! It's another to add to the collection as I already have Rinoa's necklace with Squall's ring, and Tomyo has Tidus' necklace. What can I say? I'm a total sucker for anime/game memorabilia. Hehe, I like Squall too . . .
Thirdly, England won the rugby World Cup this morning. Well, I actually can't stand rugby, I'm a football (soccer) girl myself, but I figure I should be patriotic or something.
Also, I'm just kinda happy.
I want to make a plea, if that's alright. Does anyone know where I can find the Beyblade V Force song that I've dubbed 'Underground'? It's one of the American background songs that's been in two episodes so far (that I've seen anyway)- The last episode of Tyson's battle against Kane, and when Ray battles Foxy. I don't know what it's called, or who sings it (Cartoon Network always uses the first series ending or some reason) but it goes a little something like this:
"If you could live like me, undeground, lonely sights and lonely sounds. Could you fight the darkness all around? No way up and always down. To me this is the only game in town."
I love the song but can't find it anywhere! Mwah! And yet, I can listen to the original Japanese songs of the series that hasn't even been released in America yet! Hm, strange . . .
Heh, I was watching the end of Kinnikuman: Ultimate Muscle (*shudder* Can't stand that programme!!) the other day while waiting for Gundam Wing to be on, and I noticed that the voice actors are those who voice the wonderful Shadow Hearts! Hehe, now the acting in the game is pretty bad, but it's way better that Ultimate Muscle - that show is just crude and insulting! I want to buy it on DVD just so I an burn it!! Oops, got a litle carried away there . . .
But yeah, there we go. Shadow Hearts should be praised! Hehe. I'm just biased.
As I've started rambling again, I'm going to leave now. Beyblader pointed out my penchant for Digimon quotes so I'll leave two today, one from and one not from Digimon! Sayonara!
QUOTE OF THE DAY: Digimon series 3
Kazu: "Hey, chumley, you down there?!"
ALTERNATE QUOTE OF THE DAY: Tenchi Muyo! (might be Universe . . . I can't remember)
Washu: "Ain't no goblin cute as me!"

*yawn* . . . more sleep needed
Konnichiwa!! Ooh, sleepy . . . It's anime night on Thursdays on the Sci Fi channel. Last night was Riding Bean and Shadow Skill. I've seen Riding Bean before (and thought it was awful) but I wanted to watch Shadow Skill (the 45min video one) but it was on at 3am and my eyes would not stay awake anymore . . . I'm gonna find out some stuff about it to see if it's worth buying. I haven't watched new anime in ages. I mean 'new' in the sense that I haven't seen it before.
I've just scanned my Melfina pic and uploaded it so it'll be up soon. It's looks okay for saying most of the paint was shimmery and all.
Oh, that's something I wanted to mention. I'm sure hardly any of you will care but . . . as I was playing Chaos Legion, the scenes in game are transfered to Movies part in the Extras section so you can watch them all again. And when I completed it, I got a Japanese option. Now, in anime, watching it in Japanese is pretty standard, but its the first time I've ever known you to be able to play a game with Japanese voice acting. I just thought it was pretty cool!
Well, that's all fom me for a little bit. I might return later to plague you all with my strange ramblings!! . . . eesh . . . need coffee . . .
QUOTE OF THE DAY: Digimon
Davis: "Now we know where we need to get, let's get to getting to it, got it?!"

Wooo, Nottingham!!
Sigh. I give up with pictures!! I think it's a conspiracy to stop me playing/thinking about Shadow Hearts. First, the game goes missing, then my soundtrack buying is delayed, my e-mail account goes on the fritz and I don't get any mail from the Shadow Hearts group thingy, and then all my picture of Yuri go pooft! It's not on!!!
. . . breathe . . . okay, I'm better now. Hehe. I'm definately going to Nottingham on Monday (the closest place where anime resides) so I'm happy. I will totally waste all my money on anime - I told my mom I was going to but a 2 metre tall transforming Gundam mobile suit. She wasn't best pleased! Hehe. I always seem to be talking about buying stuff, but I'm so POOR! I really should buy 'proper' things, but I mean, where's the fun in that?! I want a life size chocobo!
Erm . . . definitely in a weird mood today. I actually was going to scan a new picture today but I don't know if I can . . . I'm in the library and some evil people are hogging the scanner. The house still smells of paint from the kitchen, so I was in danger of gasing myself! The picture's of Melfina from Outlaw Star. I hope it's okay 'cause I'm sure Kamemaster - the Outlaw Star king - will tell me if it's not! The only thing is that her entire outfit and the wings were painted in pearlescent acrylics, so the painting shimmers (it's even got glitter stars!!) but obviously you won't be able to see that! I really like shiny things. In fact, I'm wearing a glittery scarf at the moment, kinda tied like Kai from Beyblade, but it's really heavy and starting to strangle me.
I wa trying to translate Go Ahead yesterday. Well, I don't even have all the words, but what I do know I only translated about three words of. I think some of it's on about embracing your dreams, or holding on to them, or something. *shakes head* I'm not too good with languages (I defile the English language on a daily basis). Sure, I got an A* in my French GCSE but I can't remember anythink except 'ou est ma Yuri?' and 'J'adore Beyblade!'. Oh, I do know one sentence of Norwegian. 'Jeg bor hos min onkle' (translation: I live with my uncle). Not very helpful since I DON'T live with my uncle . . . How did I get on to this topic??!! Sometimes my thoughts get a little carried away!
I'm going to go in a minute to see if I can politely shove the people off the scanner, but before I do, I'm going to leave a quote. This is from the Digimon Movie, and it really makes me laugh (for some reason)
Izzy: "We're getting mail from all over the world. 'Get that evil Digimon! You're our only hope'. Here's another one 'Be home by six o'clock'. Oh wait . . . that's from my mom!"
I can't remeber the exact wording, but it even made my anime-hating older sister laugh! Go Digimon! Hehe, fear not, I'm going. Au revoir (ooh, there's some more French I remember)
