And breathe...

I finally feel like I'm starting to catch my breath after weeks of running around and constantly doing stuff...

Hehe. But now, at last, my doujinshi is done! Yippee! And already I've noticed about a hundred million mistakes in it! (there's a huge, glaring mistake on the front cover...^_^) But I'm too tired to try and sort it all out at the moment! Heh... so lazy. It's up though, which is the main thing, and all the little niggles will have to wait to be worked out. After all, I did the lettering in a really short amount of time, using Microsoft Publisher, which is hardly the most sophistcated of doujinshi-making software...

Righty, now I'll explain about it for those who will / have read it. It's a yaoi!! Okay, not exactly yaoi... but a little shounen ai. For those who don't know, that means that there are homosexual relationships. I'm a fangirl and it's a genre of fanworks that I've grown to like... I'm sorry if that offends you, but if it does then simply don't read it. It's not graphic by any stretch of the imagination, but it's hinted at. If I was to give a rating I would say PG. I don't know what that is in America... Basically, anyone can read it. Also, KaixTakao fangirls should back off! This doujinshi and its pairings were created- initially - for the enjoyment of myself and Tomyo, so therefore it's a TakaoxMax, KaixRei doujinshi. Again, if you don't like, don't read. And yes, I don't know why the TakaoxMax part is so prominent. KaixRei are my fangirl focus... hey ho - that's just how it worked out! ^_^

Erm... what else should I say? If you ignore all the typing errors, and the slightly wonky lines, then I don't think it's really that bad. However, I am open for discussion on certain points (notice I say discussion and not critisism? My poor fragile soul can't take it!!). So if you want to ask questions or suggest something, then please feel free. If you're just going to tell me it's crap, then please bon't bother.

Oh, and the most important point - If I ever see it on another website, in any form or in any amount without prior consent from me, then I will hunt whoever has stolen it down and beat them to death with a pointy impliment. I don't wanna sound like I'm moaning about everything, but if that happens then I will follow whoever took it to hell. 'Kay? Goody.

Hehe! I feel better now!!

So, I hope I'll be back a little more consistantly now. All my time recently has been taken up with my doujinshi, work, and Christmas. Finally, though, I've also done all of my Christmas shopping. My house is looking festive, and I'm doing the anual pre-Christmas Nottingham shopping trip tomorrow to get some of my presents from my parents. They find it easier if they give us money to buy our own things! Although, I do have surprises as well... heh! Can't wait!!

Anyway, I'll go and catch up on some sites now as I've been neglecting people terribly of late. I'm sorry about that, but in the spirit of Christmas will you forgive me? Thanks!

It's up!

I have literally four minutes to write this! I have now uploaded the whole of my doujinshi! The quality is crap because these are far from the original scans, but you can still make everything out!

Ah... I'm ill...
Hiya peeps! Another little update for you! I've scanned a couple more pages and done the lettering. Things are slightly wonky but... I hope to have it all up and posted by Monday but it's kinda hard when I can only use the scanner for an hour a day >_<'

Hey ho. Nearly there. I really hope people take the time to read it considering the effort I've put in. I know Beyblade's not exactly popular, and yaoi is even less so (though you could hardly call it that) but please give it a chance!! ^_^ Tell all of your Beyblade-loving friends!

I'm suffering from a cold today, but I've been eating chocoalte and listening to the acoustic version of Duvet by boa (the Lain theme) so I'm okay! I've nearly done all my Christmas shopping, too! Yay!

Oog-chan is annoyed!!

Heya! I know it's been a while *smiles sheepishly* If I offer you chocolate can I be forgiven?!

Heh. So things have been happening quite strangely recently. I've finished - pretty much - all of the drawing for my Beyblade doujinshi! Done the front / back covers, the main story, a mini story for the back and an assortment of random comment pages. All that's left is a second mini story - just 'cause I wanna do one! - and the lettering. I wanted to get all of the scanning and lettering done today so that I could post it, but after five pages the computer has crashed and I'm too annoyed to start again. I'll try and post the couple I've done on saturday for the people who are interested! ^_^

I might scan the front/back covers and one of the insert pages later though - so keep an eye on myOtaku! But please don't expect anything of my recent standard! They're fairly simple pics.

Other than that I don't think there's much to add. My house is now covered in screentone though! Hehe. It gets everywhere!

Oh, and I hate Tokyopop! They've just taken FIVE months to release volume 13 of Dragon Hunter, and the release date of volume 14 is MAY of next year. HALF A YEAR I have to wait! Grr!

Erm.. that's it for now. Just wanted to keep you updated with the doujinshi progress! I'll go and see about putting up the pics, and try and get round some sites.

Hello again!!

I've been busy - I swear it!! ^_^

Just had to leave a note today to give you an update because...

THE JAPANESE G REVOLUTION SOUNDTRACK ARRIVED TODAY!!!

Yippee! (Yeah, how long ago did I order it?!) It's awesome!! And what I didn't know, but discovered this morning is that it isn't just a CD! It comes in a clear plastic box that's also got some stickers and a Dark Gaia Dragoon beyblade in it! It's so cool! Victoria (the movie theme) is fantastic! I've heard it before, a good while ago though, and don't remember it being that good! I thought it was really cheesy - but it's more like an American punk song!! I'm in love!! ^_^

Ahem... I've also ordered some screentones, and am just about to start inking my little Christmas mini-manga! I guess it would be labeled as a TakaoxMax+Hiromi one, if that makes sense, with a 3-page KaixRei thing at the back! I'll definately be posting it before Christmas, and I'm also looking into getting it printed ^_^ I'm ambitious! Hehe...

I also love Sukisho, and might be changing my theme to that fairly soon. Oh, and I've also ordered the special edition of volume 5 of Peace Maker Kurogane (the Japanese edition that comes with an Okita figure!) I spend each morning eagerly awaiting the postie! So sad ^_^'

Anyway, I've got to go and buy pens now! Have a good weekend, and I'll drop by when I can! See you!

Hello!

Sorry I've gone missing again. Random things to report:

I'm painting my cousin's nursery for the baby his wife is expecting in January. I'm doing it all jungley - it's so cute!

I'm having fun with screen tones - I'm awful at it but it's so much fun! (yeah, I managed to find somewhere to buy them!)

I've just been out with my Gran to get my Christmas present off her - a really gorgeous silver ring with little beads on it. Can't wait! ^_^

I'd write more but I have to go back to work now >_<

Sorry...

Sorry for abandoning you all once again last week - things were a bit... bad.

One of my colleague's daughter died of cancer last Monday. I didn't find out until wednesday and it was a bit of a shock. I didn't know her well, but we'd spoken a few times. And of course, her mother is devastated - they didn't know she had cancer until the morning she died. So, as you can imagine the atmosphere wasn't so good at work, and I just feel so bad for Joan. She was so close to Lesley. I just can't begin to understand how she's feeling right now.

So that's the reason...
I have to now say a HUGE thankyou for Heero Yuy for making me a new avatar (yes, I know it's not changed and that's because I haven't had the time to put it up yet ^_^) He's such a sweet guy! It'll be up pretty soon.

Other than that there's not much really to add. Gemma went back to Scotland yesterday so the house is tidy again! It's sad that we won't see her again before Christmas though. She can't get time off work to come down here, and we can't get time off to go up there. Well, she would choose to live in another country!! ^_^

Hehe. I know this post hasn't been up to much but I'm going to go now. I was late going to lunch and the chances are pretty high that I'll be late going back! Have a good day, peoples!

I love Gackt and HYDE!

Do you see the post subject? Well, that's basically gonna be the content of my post, too. Beacuse - get this - I love Gackt and HYDE!

All of the fangirls / boys may be squealing with delight now knowing what I'm saying but for those who don't I'll explain. I watched Moon Child last night!! It's a film about vampires that stars Gackt and HYDE. And Kawada from Battle Royale. But mainly Gackt and HYDE, looking sexy and being cute. And I tell you what, it's also the first tri-lingual film I've seen! (They speak in Japanese, Chinese and English at various points)

Anyway, it's absolutely, unbelievably fantastic. It's kinda Devil May Cry-ish, and Gackt and HYDE both look so FINE!! ^_^ Oh, man, I can't explain how awesome it is! But it's also desperately sad / sweet. Tomyo and I were crying hysterically for the last twenty minutes!! It was really hard to read the subtitles at the end because the tears were just blinding me! I'm such a girl...

I urge everyone to go track it down as it's just so awesome! And the song Orenji no Taiyo (Orange Sun) is just... devestatingly sad! Go watch it - now!

Apart from that... today's going slow. There's so much work to do and it just doesn't seem to be getting done. I've been working really hard all morning, didn't have a break but there's still loads to do when I get back. I hate it when it's like this!

Gemma (wayward sis living in Scotland) went to see the Backstreet Boys last night as I mentioned at some point. I gather she had a cool night but when she got back I was in bed, and she was still asleep when I went to work so I haven't had chance to ask her about it yet. But she was like a child before she went! Bless.

I'll go now and drool over Gackt and HYDE (who I love) some more now. I keep making mistakes writing this and it's really annoying! I think I need chocolate. And Gackt. And HYDE. I'm in Heaven now...
