Mmm... sleepy
I'm listening to L'arc en Ciel, eating bread and am smug with the knowledge that I am getting the second boxset of Final Fantasy VIII figures (the one with Seifer, Rinoa, Laguna, Angelo and a Moomba). I wish I wasn't at work though... but then, that's not really news, is it?
I gather that everyone now finds Tomyo a bit strange ^_^ Oh bless her, I an her big sister and it's my jobs to do these things to her! She's off school for a week so she's tormenting me with that fact as I slope out the house at half seven each morning. Git! Hehe...
I don't know what to write today. Nothing much has really happened that's worth mentioning. I fell asleep through One Piece yesterday. I was glad of that... I can't stand it. At all. And Tomyo makes me watch it, just as she does Yugi-oh which is just as bad. I miss watching good, new anime on TV. Apparently the rest of Rave Master's being shown next year so I guess that's something to wait for. England's just behind as usual when it comes to anime.
Oh! I bought Utada's single, You Make Me Want To Be A Man, yesterday! That was quite exciting! After all these years she's finally released something in England! I feel sorry for her though. I haven't heard the single anywhere (on radio or TV) so I'm not holding any hopes for the song charting well. It's cool though, and I do think that it should do well, or would have done if it had been played!
Alas! England just seems to be reluctant to embrace Japanese culture! Mwah!
And with that little moan, I'll be off! Have a good night peeps, and I'll see you tomorrow!

Oh for the love of Tomyo!
I'm playing the big sister role today - Tomyo's going on a date! Hehe! She'll kill me for writing this...
On Friday she told me how this guy had asked her to go to the cinema with him to see the Corpse Bride. Apperently he likes her, and she likes him, and one thing might lead to another...
And of course, on the eve of her big date - she dyes her hair black! Hehe... It looks ace though! She's always been blond had really cute, curly hair, but she's finally had enough of that. She dyed it this black / blue colour that looks really vibrant in the light. It's really cool. I'm jealous of her hair! But I'm not sure what the potential love-interest will think! Hehe...
Another strange fact about Tomyo (and one that I'm ashamed to admit I tested) is that she can SMELL the difference between manga released by different companies...
...I know it's strange. But she can smell VIz apart from Tokyopop, and DMP apart from Del Rey. She can also sniff out yaoi and shounen ai...
Hehe! Yeah, Tomyo's gonna kill me!!
And the older sis is back! She loped in on Saturday, dumped her suitcase in the middle of my bedroom and then went out in a whirlwind of mess! I spent all weekend tidying up after her! Oh, such wonderful, normal siblings I have! But then, I'm no better am I?!
My parents must be proud!! Haha!
Just to point out to all those who can't detect my strange sense of humour, I do love my family very much and we all get on great. But it's not as interesting to write about that, is it?
Anyhoo, I'm gonna go now. I'm currently eating bread and preparing to go back to work, tired and cold, but still... I can't wait to get home and laze about in front of a ice toasty fire! Mmm, bliss!
See you tomorrow!!

No time whatsoever again!
Just a quick little update that I'm trying to squeeze in:
The God-like Heero Yuy has made me a really cute button so you can now link to my site professionally if you want! (oh, it's so cute!) It makes me feel really good, as well... strangely powerful... ¬_¬ What? Things like that make me happy!
Erm, let's see... That's really all I have to mention at the moment, I guess, and I must rush anyway. I'll try and get round as many sites as I can today, but I'll see you all by tomorrow at least! ^_^
I can't wait to go home - two volumes of the Beyblade manga have arrived for me! Yippe!
Have a good night!

Oops, time limit....
I've left it until the last possible moment to write a post! I've been visiting sites first for a change ^_^
Work's slow today. I'm hoping that they'll send me home early because it's just so boring when there's nothing to do. Not that I enjoy actually working, either... ^_^
I spent half of the morning wandering round and dusting shelves, though I did sneak some Luna Sea and Fairy Fore on! I work with (generally) old people in a shop that is mostly frequented by old people, but I keep slipping on my J-rock. Customers look so bemused, but it's always fun!! Hehe...
My older sister's coming over from Scotland next week which'll be cool. Apart from the fact she's talented in making a mess, and turning off my music, and calling anime crap... oh, she's so mean! It's been a while since I last saw her so it'll be very cool! Tomyo likes to insist that she doesn't like Gemma but it's such a lie. They get on so well! It's always funny to hear their mock arguments though!!
Hmm, random comments again from me today. I'd better be off and go back to work now, though I wouldn't mind staying here on the Internet a bit longer. Do you think they'd miss me at work? No... I'm sure they won't...
Hehe. See you tomorrow!

By God, I didn't know I was that loved!!
...Hehe. I'm sorry I kept you all waiting. ^_^ I feel sufficiently chastised now. I promise I'll try and keep my absences to a minimum...
I'm currently listening to Lost Heaven by L'arc en Ciel at the moment so I'm feeling good. Though I have just walked through the rain from work to the library so I'm a bit cold and soggy but...
I'm currently writing a mini-doujinshi, if anyone's interested. Yup, it's another Beyblade one ^_^ I'm determined to finish this one properly! Hehe. I'm so lazy... Anyway, it's got to 12 pages at the moment, and it'll be finished in 3 or 4 so it is pretty short. It's a Christmasy story about Takao taking Hiromi to see his mom on Christmas Eve. It's strange, cheesy and has no point, but it's quite well drawn! I really want to tone it properly, but I don't know where to get any (cheap) tones from. Can anyone help?
Oh, and yeah, it's strange that the focus is on Takao and Hiromi... but the intention was to do a mini-manga for each of the BBA. This one is Takao's (obviously), then there was meant to be a story focusing on Kai, Rei and Maz in turn, but I think that's a little ambitious! If I finish this I'll be happy!!
Erm, other than that I've not been doing much. Again, work and other random things get in the way. Sigh... don't you just wish you could win the lottery?! I'd probably work one day a week and spend the rest of the time trying to make something of my art. And spend LOADS on anime/manga and a house in Japan. What about you?
I'll let you ponder on that while I go check out some site. ^_^ Oh, and thanks for the nice comments about my pic! Much appriciated!

Hehe... *sheepish smile*
Ooh, I've been gone a long time... ^_^
Hehe. This is just a little note to say that I've uploaded a new picture. It's of Myung-Ho, a character from the awesome Korean manga, Dragon Hunter (It's released by Tokyopop - go get it!)
Chances are you've never heard of it, but still please enjoy it for what it is!! ^_^
I am really sorry I haven't dropped by anyone's site in a while, or even my own, but things have been... busy. I'm hoping to be back full time soom, but until then I'll try to post as often as I can.
Hope you like this picture, and hope you all have a very good day!!
P.S. Absolutely nothing worth reporting, really. Seen all of Peace Maker, and the Gravitation OVA. That's about it, really. Such a shame... My life so boring!! >_<

Groping Blind through the vast Internet...
... I find my way back to the Otaku.
Seeing as all my excuses and apologies will start to sound a little hollow, I just won't even bother with them. Though, I do wish I had been around more. ^_^
I've been reading an excellent set of books by James Barclay. They're back in the day type things with warriors and elfs and mages and stuff - and they're awesome. They're written traditionally Englishly - with lots of 'bloody's and such, but it makes it seem so warm and homely. ^_^ That probably doesn't make sense, but I really notice culture differences sometimes. Most things I watch are Japanese, but with American voice overs, and American humour, so it really hits home when I start watching something English. It's strange, but the differences in sense of humour are immense. I'm not saying that American humour is bad, just that I prefer the odd Englishness of things - like the other book I'm reading, 'Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of the Apocolypse' by Robert Rankin. His books are so funny - with Barry, the holy guardian sprout, and God leaving Earth to his other son Colin, after he died in a fishing accident in Norfolk. That's the traditaional English sense of humour I love!
And in all that love for Enlgish sense of humour, I've completely forgotten what the hell started that rant!
So anyway, nothing much has changed. I'm looking for a new job, and Tomyo actually has one! Part-time, but a job nonetheless.
Volume 2 of Peacemaker finally arrived, but sadly not my G Rev soundtrack - they're out of stock. But I have found somewhere else selling it... for twice the price *grumble grumble*
I've already started my Christmas shopping, if you can believe that! Seeing as Tomyo's will be coming from Japan / America, I though it would be a good idea to send for things early!
Erm... and that's about it, really. Hopefully I'll be putting a few new pictures up soon. I have a Halloween one ready, and I've got to do a pic for the girl who named a priate ship after me! Hopefully they'll turn out well!
Anyway, I'll go now. I've got to find the other three James Barclay books and somehow squeeze in the time to finish FFVI.
Have a good weekend, everyone! And I should see you on monday!!

Hello, peoples! ^_^
Yeah, so I managed to get on again! Hehe... It's just a nightmare at the moment...
Sorry if anyone's been wanting to 'talk' to me, I just can't seem to get around very often right now. Sorry!
I've got to get a replacement ac adaptor for my PS2 as it's just been announced that the one I have has a risk of bursting into flames! Not very good, really. However, our PS2 has now been rechristened as the pyro-station, to go with our three-year-old tempremental-station ^_^
I've been playing FFVI which is an absolutely awesome game! I love Gau - he reminds me of Ryuichi from Gravi... Hehe. Shiny, shiny!
Nothing much else is going on at the moment other than I'm poor, cold and hungry. Though, I guess I shouldn't complain. It's too easy to put your life into perspective at the moment with all the terrible things that are going on.
Oh well, I'm gonna go now and get back to work. The pay sucks (the reason I haven't bought my own computer yet, Beyblader ^_^) and customers drive me mad, but I guess it's a great place to work so again, I shouldn't complain ^_^
Have a good day, peoples!

Gomen...
Hey... I've kinda been neglecting the Otaku again, huh? And I'm not staying this time either, it's more of a note to say that I'm not dead or incapacitated, just that things have been going on ^_^
I miss having the Internet at home and going on everyday... When you have a time limit, it's just not possible. Hey ho, I'll be back with fairly normal regularity soon ^_^ I'll write on sites then, promise!!
Mind you, saying that, I'll probably be on tomorrow. If so, I'll catch you then! If not, I'll definitely post Saturday!
Have a good rest-of-the-week!!

I love Peacemaker!!
The first volume of Peacemaker arrived yesterday! ^_^ It's so awesome! Obviously I've been reading the manga so I knew it would be - especially as it's done by GONZO, the king of animators! The music is awesome (currently listening to 'Hey, Jimmy' on repeat) and I'm gonna have to try and find the soundtrack somewhere...
One thing that does bother me is the crazy 'Kyoto' accent. I don't think it's really necessary - and it ruins Susumu's sexy image! - but I'll put up with it, I guess. It worked when ADV did the same thing in Azumanga to point out Osaka's difference, but in Peacemaker it doesn't really make sense... Meh. It's still awesome! How many times have I used that word?
Anyway, that's all I can write now. My Gran, Grandad are coming over this weekend with an aunt and uncle in tow so I'll be caught up with them. It's always so much fun! I mentioned my Grandad's dementia, right? Well in spite of it all, he's still brilliant! He told me the other day that he only puts it on so that he can get away from Gran's nagging!! Oh, I love him to bits ^_^
So it'll be an odd weekend, but at the end of it we should have a garden! It'll take too long to explain that seemingly random comment, so that tale will have to wait for another day! I'll be off now, so have a good weekend everyone!
Wah! I just remembered! Tokyopop are releasing the Loveless manga!! Yippee! It's not out until next year, but thank God it's being done! And that Tokyopop are doing it! They unlikely to ruin it! Yay!! Happiness!
