Oopsie... I disappeared again...
Hehe... ^_^' Sorry about my magician-like disappearing act. Things just kinda came up that prevented me from Otakuing. But I'm here now!!

I'll give you a brief summary of the various things that have recently happened in the life of Gasara. Prepare to not be astounded!

- Firstly, my poor little hamster, Hamtara, died on Monday. She was nearly three years old, which is really old for hamsters. It was really sad, actually - I never realised I loved Ham that much! We buried her in the garden under a tree and put a little flower in to mark it. God bless you, little Ham-Ham! ...Bless her, all she did was eat and sleep. Just like me...

- After saying on Monday that I wanted to get Onimusha and Shinobi, I actually did go and get the former game. Personally I don't see what all the fuss is about. The first Onimusha is nowhere near as good as Devil May Cry, and in some respects it's no better than Bujingai. Still, it was okay. I completed it Tuesday and then went and bought Onimusha 2. Now there's a game! Oni 2 is awesome! I've played it through twice already! ^_^ As soon as I scrape together some funds, I'll be buying 3. Jean Reno is just too cool! ^_^

- I've refound my love for Bishounen Hunter! Someone PMed me to ask about it, and I suddenly had this overwhelming rush of love for it! I got the pages out that I'd drawn and sat there reading it... Oh, it's so fun (should I say that about my own work?!) I just need someone to draw it for me as I don't have the time to do as much as I'd like. Maybe I could hire the main artist from the Mugensaika doujinshi circle... My God that would be awesome!

- Still love Beyblade, and still waiting for Peace Maker to arrive...

And that's about it, I think. Unless anyone's interested in the fact that I did the ironing yesterday... No? Oh...

I don't really have much time to write anymore - not that there is anymore to write - so I'll go and visit some sites now. And when I get back to work, there's loads of chocolate biscuits just waiting for me... Oh, how I love the biscuit tin!! ^_^

Have a good day, everyone! And I'll see you tomorrow. Probably...

Foggy....
It was oh-so-autumny this morning when I got up! I looked out and it was all foggy and reminded me of Christmas! And Beyblade! ^_^

I love Beyblade... Just thought I'd mention that again as it seems that it might have been forgotten! Christmasy feelings now bring about a love for Beyblade as last Christmas my older sis bought me the two volumes of the soundtrack for the first series of Beyblade. So hearing them remind me of Christmas and vise versa. And it felt Chrismasy this morning, as mentioned, and so I love Beyblade!!

... Makes sense? *shrug*

I was kinda on my way to bed last night and I suddenly remembered (you know how you sometimes do?) Shuya and Taku getting out that truck at the end of Battle Royale II. They look mighty fine... So I decided to watch that end part before bed, but then found myself putting the whole thing on again! It's nowhere near as good as the first one, but it still has it's moments. Like Shuya and Taku getting out that truck at the end... Nice.

And I also completed Silent Hill 2 yesterday. It was bought for me in March by one of my 'stalkers' as a birthday present but I hadn't played it. Then I suddenly had an urge and started playing it at the end of last week. It's a really cool game, actually. The music's awesome. Somehow I ended up with the 'Maria' ending, and now it's my mission to get the other 3 or 4!! I want some cheats...

I also have an urge for ninja and samurai games so I'll probably be buying the Onimusha series and Shinobi quite soon...

Anyway, that's all from me. I'm absolutely starving as I've had lunch later than usual today. I'll go eat now... Sorry for the traditional rambling post! See you tomorrow!! ^_^

Peacemaker!
I'm reading MORE Shinsengumi Imon Peacemaker scanlations today! I found volumes 4 and five (-ish. It's not been completed) so I'm merrily reading the events leading up to Peacemaker Kurogane. No one's happy, are they?! Bless...

It's raining so bad today. My Dad drove Tomyo and I into town and we could hardly see through the windscreen. It was kinda scary... and Tomyo decided she didn't want to wear a coat, so she's drenched. My umbrella's crap so I'm drenched - though my hair is dry ^_^. And when I get home I'll have to faff abaout getting the fire lit. I want central heating!! Although you really can't beat walking in from the cold and curling up in front of a nice coal fire!

Ooh... I've got a lump in my throat. I've been writing on here while waiting for the Peacemaker files to download and I've just wandered off to read some more and I'm nearly in tears! Oh, it's so sad! I knew what happened anyway, but reading it is really heartbreaking still. *sniff*

I'm such a girl, really! ^_^

Erm, I won't write anymore - I know people don't tend to visit over the weekend as they're usually doing stuff so there's not much point! I just have an incredibly boring life really... Hehe.

Anyway, I'm off now to read some more. Have a good weekend, people!

Mmm... cake...
I just saw my Gran in town and she bought me a cake. I think that should be the news to start this post, don't you? It's important!

I love my Gran ^_^ She's off to see my Grandad today who's currently in respite care. He's got the onset of dementia, so it's been pretty hard for my Gran especially. The thing is, with the way our whole family is, my Grandad seems like the normal one ^_^

Anyway, I don't want to dwell on topics like that. What happy news do I have? Hmm... I ordered volumes 3 and 4 of Peacemaker today if anyone cares. Volumes 1 and 2 haven't arrived yet, so I'm taking a bit of a risk with buying more of an anime I haven't even seen yet! But I've read the manga, and have seen GONZO's amazing animation for it so I'm pretty sure it's gonna be awesome. And I'm absolutely desperate for the DVDs to arrive!! I love the angry pig!! I want a plushie Saizo!! Can anyone here sew?!

Tomyo was off rescuing little girls yesterday! She went into school for some kind of pre-sixth Form induction thing, and she saw this girl in the nurse's office. The nurse was being a mean ***** and wouldn't let her stay in there 'cause she didn't have a note from her teacher. She felt really bad and started crying >_<
So Tomyo (who had come for photocopying - that's the nurses job as well for some reason) told the girl's friend to leg it back to class and get a note before the nurse came back! Then she sat there and comforted this girl until the friend came back with a note. Then she just told the girl that she was okay, and that the nurse couldn't do anything because she had a note so that she could stay there until she felt better.

I just thought, 'wow, Jayme is so nice!'. I just thought it was lovely! ^_^ I know Tomyo as the person who would much rather slap someone and tell them to get over it, then to be all nice and comforting!! Hehe. I'm so mean to her, but as her big sis it's kinda my job!

I don't think this post has been very coherant, but my minds mostly been on eating the cake that my Gran bought for me!! One of my work colleagues bought me a cake yesterday as well. And on Monday another one baked me a blackberry pie! I'm gonna be so obese soon! ^_^

Anyhoo, I'm gonna go now and finish my lunch. I'll see you all tomorrow! Have a nice night!!

Oh, and clearly I didn't mean literally prostituting myself yesterday! I'm not that kind of girl! ^_^' Bad choice of words on my part!

QUOTE OF THE DAY: Resident Evil Outbreak File 2 (nice title)
Geroge: "You have the IQ of a brick."

Ni Hao!!

I'm being Chinese with my greeting today! And yeah, I'll just point out the bloody obvious... ^_^

So, has anyone been watching Lost? I don't know how it's being shown / been shown in the US, but over here we're only on episode... Hm, don't know the number. The one that focuses on Charlie, anyway. It reminds me of what Peter Kay said about Bullseye - It were **** but it were good. And it's so true!!

Lost is one of the most cringeworthy, cheesy, over the top show of all time. But it's awesome as well! I find myself giggling through the supposedly touching bits (like the fluffy end sequence when Sayid throws Saywer and apple, and everyone is having fun) and just laughing at the ridiculousness of the script. But, yeah, I'm hooked! It's really cool to watch, and the tension is definitely there, and it's all a bit weirdy, so I'm loving it. But... does it need to be so cheesy?! ^_^

Anyhoo, you know how I said that work sent me to go shop for a fridge on Tuesday? Well today I was sent to go buy a kettle. Buying various appliances is fun, but it's also a little odd considering the point of going is to 'work'. Hey ho. I don't really mind all that much. ^_^ Though I am basically prostituting myself for the shops promotion! Well, for the promotion and awareness of Cancer Research, anyway! I'm covered in badges that I'm being forced to wear for the campaign. I'm like a patchwork of information! Odd way to describe it, really...

And I think my G Rev CD is on the way, so I'm very happy!!

But now I have to go back to work now, so I'm not so happy! ^_^ I wonder if I can go buy a new toaster...

Have a good day, people!

Hehe! Here I am!
I'm making a point of taking the time to write today! ^_^

I kinda walked out of work earlier... Well, it's not as dramatic as it sounds, really. It's just that there were so many people in to work, and there was nothing to do (Hell, they sent me shopping for a fridge! ^_^) that I just told my boss I was going. The only reason I'm in work today is that I need to be there this afternoon as there's no one else to work, but I really wasn't needed this morning and hate the feeling that I'm in the way. So I just kinda said 'see you later' and went for an early lunch! ^_^ It's quite terrible of me, really...

How are your days going? Well, actually, considering that most of you are in America / Canada, I'd guess that it's still in the early hours - yet, DragonStorm will already be up! So in that case I bet your days haven't even started yet. Hm. So in essence, I'm writing to no one. I'm not sure if that constitutes as sane behavoir... ^_^

Ooh, I was putting stuff in my bag this morning when I realised what a load of rubbish I carry in it. This included: make-up, hairbrush, CD player and 4 CDs (someone buy me an mp3 player!), a small notebook (stuffed with Japanese song lyrics), three pens, dental floss, a floppy disk, a pack of Tarot cards that I bought in an Escaflowne mood (but am too paranoid to take them out my bag >_<) a small hand mirror, my keys - complete with about twenty keyrings, Tomyo's paying in book for her bank account (?), battries (for CD player), some Paracetamol and a nail file.

I don't really know why... They just seem essential somehow! Y'know, if I think about taking the CDs out I'm like 'but what if I want to listen to that song?'. It's the same for everything else. And I guess everything will stay in there until my shoulder starts to break from the weight of it!

Oh, what weird things I write...

When I came out the house this morning, I couldn't help smiling. It just felt like autumn! The air was really crisp, and all the fields were misty. It was a gorgeous bright morning - but cold - and it just made me feel so good! I get depressed in summer (?!) and autumn / winter time always makes me so happy. It's strange, granted, but I'm happy now that Christmas is on it's way! ...yeah, I know it's only September! ^_^

Okay, maybe I shouldn't have written today after all! And reading it back I realised just how odd I am! Oh well, not much fun being normal... Tomyo says 'Hi' by the way. She's miserable 'cause she goes back to school next week. I'm sure she'll enjoy ogling her crush, though! ^_^

Anyway, I better go before I embaress myself further! I'll see you all tomorrow! Have a good day!

POST WORK ADDAGE: I lied! It's my day off tomorrow so I won't be updating! My Gran's coming over with an assortment of uncles, aunties and cousins. It'll be fun, but it won't be peaceful! So with that I'll see you on Thursday! Have a good Wednesday! ^_^

Hello again...

I'm back again! Still lacking time to write that much though... Ooh. so busy!

Hm... what to say? I've ordered the first two volumes of the Peacemaker anime from America (Gonna be cheaper, and quicker, to get it this way! ^_^) so I'm really looking forward to that getting here! I've also just been introduced to DNAngel. I bought the first volume last week and I think it's pretty good so far. Didn't Kevin Corn, who voices Daisuke, also voice MacDougal from Spriggan? I swear that was him... Funny thing about that is MacDougal's actor was only twelve at the time, and Spriggan was rated 15. Hehe...

I completely tidied my room yesterday - I'm so tired and sore from all the physical work it took! I moved absolutely everything, cleaned everywhere, and threw so much rubbish out! I got rid of a load of things that I'd been holding on to for years but realised that I'd grown out of them. It was kinda sad, but at the same time it was almost a relief to move on. But still it was hard work! Everywhere is sparkling now! ^_^

Anyway, not that interesting but it's all I could think of! I have to go back to work now (poor me!) so I'll let you all go! Have a good day / night / morning and I'll see you tomorrow. Probably. If I don't find anymore scanlations... ¬_¬

I'll catch up as soon as I can, so until then have a good weekend!! ^_^

Bonjour! Ca va? Tres bien!!
Salut! C'est un beau jour! Je suis tres heureux!! ^_^

Erm... sorry about that. There's a French market in town and I just got carried away... Hehe. It's my day off today, and Tomyo deosn't go back to school for another week or so, so I dragged her along to the market. Twice a year, they come from France and set up stalls selling cheese, and garlic and wine and things. It's so much fun! Though, last time they came there was a guy selling all these Chinese things, but he's not here this time. Oh... I wanted some pretty jewellery! ^_^

It's a gorgeous day as well. The last two days have been a bit dark and rainy, but today's wonderful. I'm just basking in the sun comtemplating things... ah! So nice!

Oh, I've re-developed my love for Outlaw Star (which, by the way, was the anime that led me to the Otaku! I was looking it up one day on the and the Otaku came up as one of the search results! Happy memories...) I was watching it last night and I just fell in love with it again! The hotsprings episode is so funny, and anything with Fred in it! He's awesome!! ^_^

I also recalled the day I got into anime as well... I was fifteen (a bit of a late starter, I guess!) and my Gran had come over for the day. She cooked us Spaghetti and Tomyo and I went upstairs to eat it. She was watching CITV, and Digimon came on. It was the episode where they find the hotel in the woods before Devimon seperates them all. I saw Matt's hair and fell in love with anime! THAT was the moment it happened.

The love then manifested into a deep-rooted obsession when I started watching Sailor Moon, Teknoman and Escaflowne, and then Gundam Wing and Tenchi Muyo. They were all being shown on the kids channels on Sky. Tomyo and I pretty much watched anything that was Japanese. Well, apart from Pokemon, which I stil HATE!! And Yugi-oh, and Ultimate Muscle, and just about everything else released by 4Kids... so evil!

And I just thought I'd share that with you! What was THE moment you all became anime fans? It's kind of interesting how it happens... ^_^

Anyway, that's enough pondering from me. I'm gonna check out people's sites, then later I'm hopefull gonna be ordering the G Revolution soundtrack! Yeah!

Hehe... Have a good day, and I'll 'see' you tomorrow! Au revoir!

Okaeri!! Merry September!
Konnichiwa minna-san!! Hehe... practising my Japanese there! How is everyone? It seems as though everyone's well, which is good! ^_^

Ah... let us see what I can write about today. Hm...

Well, It was my first year anniversary at work yesterday! I can't believe it's only been a year - it's gone by so fast. I had a mini celebration which basically consisted of me buying chocolates for the people at work, and them commenting on how quickly the year has passed! Not so much as a celebration as an excuse for chocolate, really! ^_^ Hey ho!

Oh, and we've already got the Christams cards out for sale! We had them out last week, which is kind of ridiculous seeing as how there's still another four months to go, but they're selling! And to be honest, I love it! I've been waiting for Christmas since 26th December last year! Hehe... I love autumn / winter! And Christmas is just a great time of the year! Yay! Bring it on!!

Ahem... So I also mentioned Peacemaker Kurogane yesterday, right? Well I got the first three volumes of the manga on Monday and am totally obsessed already! It's so awesome! Soji and Susumu are my faves. And, of course, Saizo! The angry pig is king! Anyway, plans are to release the first DVD over here on the 19th Sept - which is later that the last volume will have been released in America, so I'm gonna import it! Makes more sense. And it'll probably be cheaper!

Oh, and does anyone know what's up with ADV manga, and Tokyopop?! ADV have halted releasing the Tactics manga, and Tokyopop are also taking ages to release new volumes of things. Kanpai was released early, but I have to wait until November for the next volume of Dragon Hunter - which will be FIVE months after the last one. It's just getting stupid now. And why aren't Funimation releasing the next volume of Beyblade G Revolution?! Evil people!

Ra! I've made myself angry now! I'm gonna go and yell at customers for being stupid! Grr... Seriously, some people are so dumb! "Now that I've paid for it, can I leave it here and come back for it next week?" No! And once a woman bought something, then asked if we could look after her other shopping while she went out for something to eat! What the hell do people think our shop is?! Honestly...

Have a good day people!
