Yo! Look who's back minna-san!

...It's me!

Absolutely no time what-so-ever to write today! Here's a brief update. Went to Nottingham. Bought anime / manga. Completed Resi Outbreak 2. Developed an intense obsession with Peacemaker Kurogane. Love it so much. Going back to work now.

I'll write properly when I've caught up with everything I have to do! Please forgive me for not visiting your sites!! I will tomorrow!! *bows humbly*

Zzzzzz....

Blimey, I'm tired! My eyes are aching from staring at this screen! Hehe...

I picked up my copy of Resident Evil Outbreak 2 yesterday, and my T-shirt! Hehe! It's such a fuuny shirt - but totally worth it for the novelty factor! And the game was cheaper than I thought it would be so that was good!

It's so fun! The zombie elephant is just so ridiculously cool! And the RPD station is exactly the same as in Resi 2 - even with the same BGM!! Marvin Brannagh is alive and organising the evacuation of the station, and Ben Bertolucci is still locked up in the cells! You even get to find Leon's CV!! It's so cool!! ^_^

I'm such a Resi freak that I keep picking all the little details out...

Meh. Nothing else has happened. We're (that'll be me and Tomyo) off to Nottingham as planned on Monday, so hopefully we'll return with loads of anime and manga. I'd ordered the Beyblade manga but I don't think the shop's got it in yet... sigh! But because of the mission to Nottingham, and it being Bank Holiday and such, I won't be on the Otaku until Wednesday! How will I cope?! I'm hoping that I'll have done another picture by then to add. I've rediscovered my love of painting!!

Anyway, I have to go now and retrieve my Magnum from the night watchman's office, and then somehow find my way out of the station while avoiding Mr. X and his trenchcoat!!

Yay! Go Tomyo-chan!!



Yay!! Tomyo got her GCSE results today and she passed them all! So happy!! ^_^

She'll tell you more about them on Saturday, I'm sure! She's so relieved, and I can't tell you how pleased I am!! Yaaayyy!!

(Side note: GCSEs are the final exams you take in High School in the UK - They basically determine if you can get into 6th Form, or college. They're very important!)

I don't have time to write much else - I've spent most of lunch crating the picture above ^_^

The fire incident though, wasn't directly involving me. There's an alleyway at the side of the shop where I work that opens out onto the grounds of the town's castle. There are some excavated ruins there - the remains of a keep, I think it is - basically a hole in the ground, with tunnels and stuff leading under the castle. It's an open pit, with a bridge over it, and fencing so you can't climb down. Anyway, someone apparently did, and set fire to something down there. Smoke was everywhere and it smelt vile! Luckily it wasn't close enough to our building to cause damage! And the firemen got called out! Mmm... Hehe! My theory is that someone was using explosives to break into the building society on the other side!! Heh!

Not that interesting really... but the firemen were nice!

I have to go now and make Tomyo a card! I'll have to visit everyone's sites on Saturday! Have a good weekend, people!

Ame!
Hello all! It's absolutely chucking it down with rain today. My unbrella is so feeble that it keeps on flying all over the place and does nothing to keep me dry! As such I am now looking slightly haggard... and my knee hurts like hell!! I'm only twenty and yet I have so many aches and pains... >_<

So anyhoo, not much to report today. I'm feeling lonely, I guess! I want more people to visit my site! I spend ages going round people's sites and leaving nice messages - and hardly anyone visits me!! Mwah!! Maybe I really am that annoying?! No, don't answer that! Hehe!!

I've been pilfering chocolate all morning at work, though - that was fun! And yeah, that's about all that's happened... I started replaying Resi 0 last night. I decided to do it on normal mode to unlock everything, and I was doing fine until I accidently moved Billy and got Rebecca crushed under a cage... oopsie. It was kind of an 'azumanga' moment. "I wonder what happens if I..."

=^..^= Does that look like a cat?! I was just wondering if I could draw one!! Hehe. I'm losing it, completely... Maybe this is why people don't visit!! And to my regular commenters, I love you!! Hehe!!

Afternoon! I'm feeling the joys of life at the moment as I'm listening to my amazing Fairy Fore CD. School Days has just been on (pretty much my fave song of theirs) and now I'm listening to Shooting Star - which I think was only a b-side!!! Madness! Anyway, I likes them a lot...

So how are you all today? Might as well go through the motions with this post now: Wanted to smash my alarm clock, got up late, went to work, worked, and now lunch. It's a fairly standard day! ^_^ The weekend'll be fun though - I have Friday off, and Monday's a Bank Holiday so I'll have a four-day weekend. Very nice!!

Tomyo and I are taking a trip to Nottingham at some point as well - probably Monday - to go and stock up on manga and anime. However, the whole buying Resident Evil thing'll reduce the funds I have!! But I so want the T-shirt!! Hehe!!

Tomyo says thanks for all the well-wishes, by the way. She had a wonderful birthday and is happy to know that you wished her a good day ^_^

I called my older sis last night as it was her birthday (four birthdays in a week! That doesn't help the funding either! Heh.) and she was telling me that she can't wait to go and see the Backstreet Boys (^_^') in October! She also insisted that I send all of her BSB videos and CDs up to Scotland so she can get in the mood!! She was dancing to Larger than Life last night apparently!! Hehe. My whole family is mental!! Oh, they finally have Broadband now as well ^_^

I want to say thanks to everyone who has commented and voted on my pics - especially the people who have rated the Gasaraki ones who don't even know what it is!! And thanks to the 150 people who have signed my guestbook!! Might not be that many compared to some people, but it's a nice landmark point! Hugs and muffins all round!!

I'd better go and do some visting myself. My friends list is getting longer and longer now! ^_^

Hello!!

I'm not up for a fancy subject at the moment! We're doing a boring stocktake at work and I'm knackered from filling in all the paperwork and counting things... bleugh... Always got something to moan about, me ^_^

I've uploaded another picture today - another one of Miharu from Gasaraki (well, there's actually two of her... It makes sense if you've seen the show). Please go and comment on it! Though if you're going to be mean, then please don't bother ^_^

It's my older sister's birthday today! Gemma is 22 now - so old. As she's living in Scotland we won't be seeing her at the moment. The next time she's coming over is in October - to go see the Backstreet Boys with our cousin Amy! Still, I'll phone her later and see if she liked her presents! I can just imagine her jumping up and down like a child!! Hehe... Oh, I miss her!!

Tomyo bought the first three volumes of the Ghost in the Shell series for her birthday, and it's absolutely amazing! It totally blew me away! I want to go and get the next two volumes that have been released but I've 'accidently' pre-ordered Resident Evil Outbreak File 2 which is out on Friday so I can't really afford to... (accidentally - meaning that I shouldn't have done but was tempted by the free R.P.D. T-shirt you get for pre-ordering it!! ^_^ I'm such a fangirl!! Hehe!)

Anyway, that's all the news for today. I'm gonna go and catch up on people's sites now, and then back to work for more stocktaking, and a visit from the wonderful Jill - my NVQ course advisor - Woo! (written dripping with sarcasm!)

Happy Birthday to Tomyo!!
Yay! Tomyo's sixteen!! Hehe! And the git woke me up at five this morning... so sleepy! Anyway, I've just uploaded her birthday pictures. The Zax and Cloud one was for her card, and then the other two are the 'mini-manga'. I uploaded them in the order that they're meant to be read for ease! ^_^

As you can tell if you read / watch it, it's a bizarre Fruits Basket scene acted out with Final Fantasy VII characters! I don't quite know where I got the idea from, but it made me laugh so I decided to paint it for Tomyo's birthday! If you're going to see them, please remember that it's drawn pretty much straight from the manga, so it has to be read right to left - or it won't make sense! Enjoy!

I don't know what the plans for the day are yet, but Tomyo seemed pleased (and bemused) with the random presents from me, as well as the mound of money she was given. ^_^ That won't last long...

It seems weird that a year has gone by so quickly. It doesn't seem that long ago when I painted her previous card (the Kai one, that is - and my how I've improved!! Hehe!). *gets all misty-eyes and nostalgic* My little Smidget is growing up!!! *sniff*

On a different note, it's time for Mom-Watch. Resi 4 has now been completed for about the millionth time in under seven hours and only seven deaths!! She's also finished the Assignment Ada mini game! She's my hero!! Hehe...

Sleepy...
Hello all!! It's been a tiring couple of days... Hehe. I've spent most of the last week painting things for Tomyo's birthday - she keeps complaing that no one loves her and that no one's bothered about her birthday! Unfortunately our parents have to work tomorrow - her big day - so she's feeling unloved. It was nothing that the parents could get out of though... They love her dearly, they just have to work... Anyway, that's why I've been going overboard with birthday plans. I'm giving her money as her present - not very exciting but it means that she can go and get whatever she wants, and it'll probably be something off ebay! But on top of that, I had to make her card - a tradition that she started! I always have to paint her a card now! ^_^ So I did that painting, constructed it into a card, and have wrapped up the painting seperately. Then I bought her a little something else, and have now painted two pages of 'mini-manga'!! I want to put it up on the Otaku but I think it infringes too many copyrights to do that (It's basically copying two pages of someone else's manga, but a little different...) so I'll put them on my photobucket account. Next I have to go and buy a cake (probably a cheesecake - Tomyo's fave) and some balloons and candles and stuff... We'll have a childish birthday party, I think!!

Hehe, anyway I'm really excited for her! 16 Tomorrow, wow! She's getting old...

And her GCSE results come out next week, so we're all a bit nervous for her, too! Eep!

My next thing that I want to do is to become popular!! Hehe. Beyblader's had 10,000 hits on her site (fully justified - she's awesome) and I realised that I wanted to be loved, too!! ^_^ I have such an inferiority complex... Anyway, you can help me expedite this mission by paying your own friends to visit me!! Every new friend gets a cookie!Hahah! I sound like such a loser!!

Erm... Not much else to add, I don't think. I'm sure Tomyo'll drop by tomorrow, so if you visit her site be sure to wish her happy birthday so she won't go on a murderous rampage!! I'm such an overprotective big sis...

Anyway, best go and buy a cake now. Only problem is not eating it before tomorrow... oh, such torture!

Mmm... anarchy...
Hiya all! Hehe... I'm pretty much in charge at work today! Neither the manager or assisstant manager are in so it's up to the workers to take charge! I'm the youngest one at work, but everyone keeps asking me what to do. I keep telling them not to bother doing anything... hehe. I'm not in tomorrow so I won't be around for the aftermath! Hehe! So cruel...

What was fun though was that I spent all of yesterday sorting through the deliveries of Christmas cards that we've just got in! I know it's only August, but they came so I had to check that they were all there and stuff before they go on sale at the end of the month. It's early, but I don't care! I love Christams so I can't wait for the next few months to hurry along!! ^_^

Mom-watch: She's completed it for the third time (yay!) and this time with only 17 deaths!! I'm just waiting for the day when she doesn't get poor Leon killed at all!!

What else? Hmm... I'm currently working on a bizarre two-page mini-manga that entails a crossover between FFVII and Fruits Basket... Odd, I know, but it'll make sense when you see it. Again, it's part of the ongoing preparation for Tomyo's birthday. You'll all have to remember to leave her messages on Saturday! It is her 16th after all!!

Best be off now and cause more havoc at work! I'm gonna raid the fridge, I think. There's cakes in there... ^_^

POST-WORK ADDAGE: Slacking off?! Like that happened when I got back to work! I've worked so hard this afternoon and I'm exhausted!! Mwah! Serves me right, I guess! ^_^

Oh well, day off tomorrow so I'll see you Friday! Then I'll launch my new mission: "Make Gasara a popular Otaku!!" ...

Just listening to some Fairy Fore while I write this...

Anyway (what a pointless statement!) I'm sorry I didn't get to anyone's site yesterday - I didn't get on the Otaku at all! Mwah! However, I've realised just how much I love being a part of the Otaku, and I love reading everyone's comments and messages!! They make me feel all warm and ...sparkly! Much love to everyone!!

Hehe. So I might as well start with Mom-Watch. Well, she finished Resident Evil 4 again yesterday! Yay! This time, she managed to raise the million 'currency' to buy the infinite rocket launcher - Boom! - and she only died... 23 times!! That's it, she managed to shave of a rather impressive 130 deaths from the last game!! Hehe. And yeah, you guessed it, she's started it all again now...

I was a bit scared when I got home yesterday... I went upstairs to go wrap some presents I've got for Tomyo, and I smelt the beautiful smell of bacon. So I get hungry, finish wrapping the presents very quickly - she'll never get into them - and head downstairs to make some dinner. And lo and behold, Tomyo's made me a bacon and mushroom sandwich!! It's unheard of for her to cook / do anything! And for someone else! Hehe... that's mean, but she IS lazy. Anyway, it was a nice surprise, and a nice sandwich! I think maybe she's delirious because she'll be getting her exam results next week!! Eep! I'm so nervous for her!!

I'm just writing an utter load of rubbish at the moment!! Hehe, who really cares about last night's munchables?! *shakes head*

Oh, don't you just love it when you realise you've got £30 more than you thought you had? Money's been kinda tight recently, especially with everyone's birthday happening at the same time, so I've been having to calculate things really carefully to make sure I set money aside for bills and necessities before I even think of buying things for myself. And anyway, I was going through my bank account and there's this mysterious £30 that I hadn't caluculated! I love it when that happens! I feel rich now!! ^_^

And again, that was a pointless thing to mention... I have a problem of just writing about completely random things... Hehe. Oh well, the beauty of it being writing is that you can just skip it! Anyway, I'm off to get some lunch now! Have a good day!!
