Watashi no hito wa konnichiwa!!
Hello, my people! My eyes are tired as I've been reading scanlations of the Loveless manga all morning... It's so good - even though I've only managed to find the first volume... Hehe. I like having a penchant for untranslated anime / manga! It keeps things interesting, although it IS nightmarishly hard to try and find scans or video files of them... ho hum.

How are you all today? Well, I hope. I'm perfectly fine myself. I'm heading down to the huge art shop in town to go and buy some materials so that I can put together Tomyo's card. The pictures done, but now I need some card, some beads, foam, double-sided tape, glitter... Oh it'll be fun to make!! ^_^ Ah, I also need a frame... hm... and how do I keep it all a secret from her?! Especially as she's decided to come shopping with me?!

Oh, and as you might know it's also my older sister's birthday, too. Tomyo's is on the 20th and Gemma's is on the 22nd - not fair to my poor bank account. But what's even worse is that I'm giving her some money, but I've also bought her a necklace and bracelet which I thought was a pretty good present. I sent them up to Scotland with my cousin who's gone to stay for the weekend. The very same cousin who has just informed me that she has bought Gemma tickets to go and see the Backstreet Boys in concert!! I don't think anyone can top that present! However misguided it might be, Gemma's been a huge Backstreet Boys fan for years! I bought her their new album a couple of weeks ago (for no real reason other that she wanted it, I hadn't seen her in about two months, and was feeling all sisterly!) but how could that possibly compare to going to see them live?! My cousin, Amy, is awesome!!

I wish I'd thought of that... Also, Tomyo's giving me grief. I know what she really wants, but I can't get them for her (Yubinbasya FFVII doujinshi). I feel really bad but there's nothing I can do. I'm trying to think of something really special to get her, especially as it's her 16th birthday. I hope she likes her card, but I want to get her something awesome! Argh! It's a nightmare being so nice!! *screams in frustration*

Ho ho, I'm a little highly strung today it seems! ^_^ Also, it seems like it's my birthday, too! We've already planned a shopping trip on her birthday, so I've gone ahead and phoned up the manga shop we frequent to get them to order the Beyblade manga for me (ah, sweet Beyblade love!)!! Hehe, I'm so excited!! ...what? Beyblade's cool!!

Anyway, I'd best be off now. I've got bills to pay and birthdays to prepare for! I'm also quite hungry... I fancy a cheese and tomato toastie... *drool*

See you on monday! Have a good weekend!!

Ever speedier!
This is just a really painfully quick note to say that I DID paint the Gasaraki picture last night, and I've uploaded it now so please go take a look. You probably don't know the series, but it's excellent! It gave me my user name and avatar - as well as making me cry at the last episode! *sniff*

Oh, and my mom wanted to me to set the record straight. She did NOT die 154 times... it was actually 153. Like that makes any difference! But hey, there you go! ^_^

Righty, I've got to go now! If I don't make it to your site, rest assured I will tomorrow! Have a nice night everyone!!

POST WORK ADDAGE: Okay, it's now nearly four o'clock (yay, I finished early) so I've just come back to take a visit round some more sites but decided to leave this little message. It's pointless really but it made me smile. I have done the first piece of Gasaraki fan art on the Otaku! It's fitting really because pretty much my first post ever was moaning about the lack of fan art for it!! ^_^ It's only taken me two years to put a piece up... Hehe. See you tomorrow!

Mmm, hungry...
Yup, it's lunchtime again! I really hungry today as well. I know I always seem to talk about food and stuff but it's always the nearest thing in my mind ^_^

Anyway, apart from my lack of munchables, I'm okay. I'm a little annoyed, I guess but that's really no big deal. I actually painted the pic for Jayme's card last night (I know, that was quick!) and I wanted to scan it so that I could change it a bit before making the card with it, but someone's using the scanner. So I've booked it for tomorrow lunchtime so that I can get it done. I'm really pleased with the pic! ^_^ I can't wait to show you all but obviously I have to wait until her birthday... I've got to hide it, too. She knows I was painting last night so she'll be searching the whole house for it!! Hehe.

Oh, and I know you all like the updates on my mom's progress so... Last night she finished Resident Evil 4!! Yay! Round of applause, please! It was a long journey to the end - at one point she had nothing but a knife to use while she was surrounded by the evil monks, she also never had a magnum at all (the ultimate Resi handgun), and in total she died 154 times!! I never said she was good at playing games... So now she's decided to play it all again, but this time she's trying to get one million [enter whatever currency it is here] to buy a rocket launcher with infinite ammo. It'll be an even longer game this time...

Hehe. Not much else happened yesterday, and even less today! I might finally get round to painting the Gasaraki picture tonight, so if I do I'll scan that tomorrow as well and put it up.

Oh, I'm also thinking of doing some random competitions... I've got quite a few gachapon figures at home, repeats of ones I've already got from FFX and FFX2 so I'm thinking about giving them away! Not totally sure if it's worth it though 'cause they're not really worth entering a competition for, but I'll see...

I also want to wish Hizuara a very happy birthday! It's today so if anyone wants to go and wish her all the best I'm sure she'd like that!! ^_^

Well, that's it for now. I'd best get back to work... geez, sometimes I feel like I run the place for everything I do!! Hehe. Have a good night!

Speedy...
I don't have time to write much again today - Damn work's in the way!! Hehe..

My mom's still playing Resident Evil 4. It's so funny that she's completely obsessed! She loves Devil May Cry anyway, but I never thought of her as a Resi girl before. One thing though, she got so scared when she played it when we were away that she went to bed with her bedroom light on and a golf club by the bed!! Hehe!! I love mom! ^_^

However, her playing of Resi means that I'm sacrificing Shin Megami Tensei - Lucifer's Call that I've been playing... Oh, I just want to finish it!! It's a cool game, and inexplicably Dante from the DMC series is in it. So my mom loves that, too...

It's Tomyo's birthday on the 20th and she's insisted that I paint her a card instead of buying one. ^_^'. She wants it to be of Kai (Beyblade), Cloud and Zax (FFVII), and Ed (Full Metal Alchemist). She isn't asking much is she?!! I'm not sure whether I can even draw Ed, not to mention Zax and Cloud! Help! I've been doodling some ideas but it's so hard!

Erm, that's all I have time to say at the moment! I really need the Internet at home!! >_<

Have a good night, everyone!

Home again...
Mwah! I'm in England!! >_<

Hehe. So eventually the blissful holiday had to end. It was kinda sad saying goodbye to Gemma and Richard again, but I'm sure they'll come down here soon. The drive back yesterday wasn't bad at all - it did not seem like six hours!

When I got back the first thing I did was open the presents that my Lewis-noodle sent! Dear lord he's so sweet!! The presents were for "Valenmas" (Christams and Valenties day combined - we usually send Christamas presents so late they end up being recieved in February!), my birthday - which was in March - and...

So, for Valenmas I got the cutest 'Little Miss' book. It's hard to explain but it's all about what he thinks of me, and it's so gorgeous!! I also got an Akira figure - the clown leader man. Kinda creepy, but it's cool! For my birthday he bought me 'Shaun of the Dead'!! He knows me so well!! And the I also got 'The Adam and Joe Show' on DVD for... White Day!! How sweet!! - I sent him chocolate for Valentines day, you see! My first ever White Day present. Ohh... I can't help but swoon! He also got my family some chocolates for Christmas 'cause they sent him a card. He's wonderful!! ^_^

And the DVD is awesome! Some of you might remember a while back I kept talking about 'Adam and Joe Go Tokyo', a series where they went to Japan and did various things and reported on films and music and stuff. And there was the song that they performed in a street (As 'Gaijin Invasion' about Tokyo) that ended them up on a big Japanese music TV show performing live! It's hilarious! I'm gonna put it up here
so you can listen to it because it's so funny! Look for the 'Busking Song' at the bottom of the page. This is the kind of crazy thing they did on the Adam and Joe Show, but they're proabably more known for the incredibly funny recreations of famous films and TV shows using toys. Anyway, it's really great. and you MUST listen to the song!! ^_^

Erm, I'm running out of time to write stuff now - I'm back to cramming it all in in my lunch hour so I'd better go and check out some people's sites before I go back to work!

I'll see you tomorrow!

QUOTE OF THE DAY: The Adam and Joe Show
Adam: "Today we're going to meet 'Handy' Andy Kane, the most famous carpenter since Jesus."

note: For those who don't follow British home decorating shows, Handy Andy is the carpenter for Changing Rooms, as well as about a million other DIY shows. Everyone in Britain's heard of him!

Where was my home..?
Yaha! We've postponed going home! ^_^ Only for a day, and I'll be missing a day of work... but, yeah! Hehe...

Yesterday got weird. After the general oddness of the morning, we decided to watch the Blair Witch Project. >_< I don't like horror, and although I admit it wasn't really scary, I was not having fun watching it!! I was traumatised enough when Gemma decided to go out and rent the Grudge. Yeesh, I did not like that one! I don't like horror films where things jump out, or you see something in the corner of your vision, and that was exactly what it was like... *shudder*

I'm so wimpy that before I went to bed I had to keep the light on and watch Peter Kay (live at the Bolton Albert Halls)!!

But aside from that yesterday was good! We went out for a meal in the evening (and we stole cheese!! Well, the people who worked there were really rude, so we stole the cheese from our meals that we didn't eat. We'd payed for it, so... ^_^) And then I won £40 on the lottery!! Hehe! It's cool, but for getting four numbers you'd think it'd be more! Still, it'll get me two anime DVDs, or my sisters birthday presents...

Today I haven't done anything. At all. Oh, no, wait - I played SSX3. Well, I can hardly say 'played' 'cause I was really bad at it... >_< It was fun though! And I drew a random 1 page mini-manga that involved Tala finding a cat and then Kai stealing it and calling it Rei. "..." Yeah, not much you can say about that one! Hehe.

Anyhoo, I'd better go and do the rounds now. Have a good night, and I'll see you Tuesday probably. Back in England. Mwah!

Ooh, look at the cows...
My sister's house is situated smack bang in the middle of the Scottish countryside. It's surrounded on all sides by gorgeous fieldy scenery. You can just sit and watch the trees swaying in the breeze, the clouds passing overhead, and the wildlife go scampering by... so nice. And I have to go home tomorrow!!

Mwah! It's not fair! It's been so nice staying here. It's been great seeing Gemma and Richard again (as mad and bizarre as they are) and it'll suck having to go! >_< It doesn't help that I have to go straight back to work, and that I'll have limited usage of the internet again, and that I probably won't see my sis for another few months. (Erm, the order of priority there is a little screwed up, eh?)

Still... I guess I've got my presents from Lewis (God-like Scottish penpal) to look forward to - after the six-hour drive, that is...

Hehe... moaning again. But good things have happened, too. Someone was kind enough to send me three more Fairy Fore songs! ^_^ I still haven't got the almighty "School Days", but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that.

Tomyo has just joined me at the computer - a subtle hint that she wants me to bugger off and let her on. Although I'm not meant to write thigs like that - things that in any way sound like mockery. She gets angry... which is scary.

Gemma's now appeared from nowhere and started brushing Tomyo's hair and we're all listening to "Vivid" by Fairy Fore... It's all very odd...

And with that I'll go! Bye!
*swishes cloak and disappears in a puff of smoke*

Ra!! Kill the Broadband man!!
Hmm... So we don't have broadband after all today. Grr! ~_~ *sigh*

And the computer has decided to slow down even more today - which is especially annoying as I'm trying to upload some music. It just ain't happening...

I finally got round to watching the first four episodes of Full Metal Alchemist ealier - It's so good! I love the animation, and the ending theme is sooo good! It's been a while since I had brand new anime, so I'm very happy! ^_^ See? Happy face!

I've been thinking that I should probably upload some more pictures... afterall, that's pretty much why people visit me! Hehe... I've finally bought some new watercolours, so that's handy. I've got a Gasaraki pic I want to paint, but I might just put some more of my sketches onto my photobucket account if anyone's interested, though they won't be up until at least next week - my sis doesn't have a scanner. Not that I'd be able to upload them anyway with this crappy dial-up connection!! Ra!! Jeez,I'm turning into Tomyo - I just keep getting angry!! Hehe.

It's kinda sad, really. We're going home on Sunday, and then back to work Monday. It just isn't fair!! It's been so nice not having to do anything!! Work sucks!! Waaa!

That's it, I should probably go now. It's going to take me a good couple of hours to leave messages from everyone!! Hee. See you! *waves madly*

Bit soggy....
We ended up going to Edinburgh after all today. It's an awesome city - absolutely huge, with loads of gorgeous buildings and a lot of vibrant people lining the streets in the run up to a festival they're having. It was so cool!! It also rained a lot. >_< Hehe...

Tomyo and I managed to find a Forbidden Planet and so I ended up spending again... Oopsie - shouldn't be doing that quite so randomly!

Anyway, I bought:
Manga - "Yellow", the whole of "Digimon" series one and two, and the first three volumes of "Shaman King".
Anime - Just the first volume of "Full Metal Alchemist".

I also bought an Akira gachapon. It's a Kei one, with loads of blood... the figures are awesome, if a little disturbing. I already have the little blue kid, and Yamagata and Kaneda gachapon figures (who are actually posed so they're holding hands ^_^) I love Japanorama!!

I'm currently reliving my joy of knowing Digimon - the manga is so funny! - and recieving more odd texts from my mom. She's still playing Resident Evil 4, and has perfected the art of getting Leon killed! As she says, she is currently 'stuck on the bloody lift with the monks - with only a knife'... She'll probably still be playing that part when I get back! Hehe...

I'm now totally in love with a song called 'School Days' by Fairy Fore. I would kill for a copy of this song - I haven't found a downloadable version - but finding any of their songs is damn near impossible! >_< Sigh...

Oh! And Broadband will be available from midnight tonight! Yeah! No more two hour downloads of a three minute song! I can't wait!

So I'm gonna go now and be sociable for a bit - my sister's being nice enough to let us stay after all!! Heh, though she has been throwing her bracelets at me all night... strange person... Anyway, have a nive night / morning / afternoon!! See you tomorrow!

I'm a BT Technician

Tomyo and I are gonna try and install broadband on our sister's computer! Mwahah! The BT man is meant to be coming sometime this week to install broadband but we're getting impatient - We found somewhere where you can download the Loveless episodes but it just ain't happening with Dial-up! Also I want to find some Fairy Fore downloads but I can't take waiting for pages to load as it's an endless search anyway! (Shameless plea: If anyone knows where I can get Fairy Fore mp3s, or if you can send me some, then I'll give you chocolate muffins! ^_^)

I'm eating a slightly stale croissant whilst listening to Tomyo's semi-coherant technical ramblings as she fiddles with the back of the computer. All-in-all this day is not going to be good...

We're off to Aberdeen / Edinburgh tomorrow. Not quite decided which one yet, but both have Forbidden Planet stores - which means plenty of manga and anime for us! Yay! Only problem is that it's both Tomyo and my older sister's birthdays in three weeks and their both expensive buggers to buy for! I'm so selfish, but Tomyo really is awkward for buying presents... she only wants things that need to be imported, and bought on the Internet (and with Dial-up... eesh!) so yeah, I think I have the right to grumble!! ^_^ Hehe...

Right. Tea break's over now. I've got to go and disconnect the phoneline and see if any of the plugs from it will give us broadband... Hmm, now where does this go...?
