Groping Blind through the vast Internet...

... I find my way back to the Otaku.

Seeing as all my excuses and apologies will start to sound a little hollow, I just won't even bother with them. Though, I do wish I had been around more. ^_^

I've been reading an excellent set of books by James Barclay. They're back in the day type things with warriors and elfs and mages and stuff - and they're awesome. They're written traditionally Englishly - with lots of 'bloody's and such, but it makes it seem so warm and homely. ^_^ That probably doesn't make sense, but I really notice culture differences sometimes. Most things I watch are Japanese, but with American voice overs, and American humour, so it really hits home when I start watching something English. It's strange, but the differences in sense of humour are immense. I'm not saying that American humour is bad, just that I prefer the odd Englishness of things - like the other book I'm reading, 'Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of the Apocolypse' by Robert Rankin. His books are so funny - with Barry, the holy guardian sprout, and God leaving Earth to his other son Colin, after he died in a fishing accident in Norfolk. That's the traditaional English sense of humour I love!

And in all that love for Enlgish sense of humour, I've completely forgotten what the hell started that rant!

So anyway, nothing much has changed. I'm looking for a new job, and Tomyo actually has one! Part-time, but a job nonetheless.

Volume 2 of Peacemaker finally arrived, but sadly not my G Rev soundtrack - they're out of stock. But I have found somewhere else selling it... for twice the price *grumble grumble*

I've already started my Christmas shopping, if you can believe that! Seeing as Tomyo's will be coming from Japan / America, I though it would be a good idea to send for things early!

Erm... and that's about it, really. Hopefully I'll be putting a few new pictures up soon. I have a Halloween one ready, and I've got to do a pic for the girl who named a priate ship after me! Hopefully they'll turn out well!

Anyway, I'll go now. I've got to find the other three James Barclay books and somehow squeeze in the time to finish FFVI.

Have a good weekend, everyone! And I should see you on monday!!
