It's me! It's me!
Hello again!!
I'm currently baking to death in my bedroom whilst watching a DVD of Miyavi's 'Ore-sama dare da' concert. Thought you might like to know that...
It's brilliant, by the way. I've been turned into a huge Miyavi fan recently. I first took note of him when I was 'reading' an issue of Fool's Mate and noticed he had a song called 'Girls, be ambitious' - and I got to wondering whether it had anything to do with FAIRY FORE'S song, 'Boys, be ambitious'. I went a-searching, watched the 'Girls, be ambitious' video and realised it was absolutely nothing like 'Boys, be ambitious' whatsoever!! However, if you¡Çre wondering 'Girls, be ambitious' was released in 2002, whereas FAIRY FORE released 'Boys, be ambitious' (as a demo tape) way back in 2000. Ergo, Miyavi is clearly a FAIRY FORE fan!! ^_^
Tomyo's not gonna like that comment...
Anyhoo, while I'm on about FAIRY FORE, I'm waiting for NEVER LAND's mini album to arrive. They released it last year but I'm a bit slow... Akihide - NEVER LAND's lead singer - used to be FAIRY FORE's guitarist, but then left to front his own band. And they're fantastic. They've just released a new single, Sunset, and the first track, 'Yuuyake Melody' is just gorgeous!! Unfortunately I can't find that to buy anywhere (waa!). My point? Don't really have one here, just that I also love NEVER LAND and that Akihide's looking mighty fine... ^_^
Oh, and if you've got nothing better to do, or just want a laugh, you can go take a nosy around my FAIRY FORE site. It's nowhere near finished, but the profile page is worth looking at - so many sexy men! Hehe...
And get this! I'm actually drawing my Beyblade doujinshi at the same time as doing my site!! Usually I obsess over one of them for a bit, then turn to the other, but at the moment I'm doing both! Go me! 'RONGU Long Vacation', as it's called (which literally means ¡Ælong, long vacation') now has 30 pages!! Doesn't really sound much, I know. But my other doujinshi - the one that's posted on my Fan Art site linked above - was only 21 pages long... well, the main story, at least. And I own a Beyblade doujinshi by Majinko Paradise that's only 8 pages long, so in comparison..! Wouldn't expect it anytime soon, though. I've only drawn the rough draft and that's not even finished!! Still, it must be done soon as it's meant to be a summer story...
Erm, what else to mention...? It's Tomyo's birthday soon... Well, when I say soon, I mean that Tomyo keeps going on about it but it's really at the end of August!! And from the sound of it, she wants Miyavi's entire back catalogue as a present -_-; You should all go over to her site and tell to stop being such a bad little sister and pressuring poor old Gasara! It doesn't help that it's also my older sister's birthday two days after hers... I really will be poor...
Well, what a J-Rock-ish post! Let's see if I can think of anything else before I go... The condensed last few weeks of Gasara: Replayed Resident Evil Nemesis, played Glass Rose - one of the universally regarded worst games in history, but I absolutely loved it, bought a pendrive, bought a copy of the first book I fell in love with (I read it way back in 1998 and it's taken me this long to buy it! Hadn't read it since I left school in 2001 but it's still as good as I remember!!), managed the shop where I work on the actual managers days off, bought 3 Utageya Beyblade doujinshi, had a week off and lounged about for the whole of it, went to the cinema to see Jet Li's Fearless (a film I first heard about when it was just out in China from seeing the pv for the theme song by Jay Chou), bought the Initial D film - with Jay Chou in it, as well as Edison Chen, Shawn Yue, Chapman To and Anthony Wong ~ wonderful peoples!!, and danced around in the garden like Miyavi...
I've probably done other things but they're escaping my memory ^_^
And that's about it! I should probably stop bothering you all now!! I'm gonna go and get a beverage because it's sooooo hot! It's 10:42 at night and all of the windows in the house are open but it's still suffocating!! I don't like the heat... Roll on Autumn!!
See you!!
QUOTE OF THE DAY: Beast Cops
(Anthony Wong to Sam Lee's character, Sam - Sam realises Tung is trying to swindle new room-mate Mike out of rent)
Tung: (while wafting a hand in Sam's face) "You can't work it out."
I guess it's one of those things you have to see for yourself!! Just thought I'd add it as I haven't done a quote for a while! Enjoy!!
