Why: Born March 14th 1879 in Ulm Germany to a pair of non observent Jews who owned an electrical parts Co. In 1894 they moved to Milan. Italy after the buisness went under. There While still in secondary school he took and failed a test for a course of study leading to a diploma as an electrical engineer at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology.
So he went to Aarau til 1896 were he went to a kickass secondary school then he returned to Milan, went to the afore mentioned university, and graduated as a secondary school teacher in math and physics.
@ yrs later he worked in the Swiis patent office in Bern.(1902-09)
Eventually became professor at the University of Zurich. By 1909 German-speaking Europe figured he was pretty smart.In 1914 he advanced to the most prestigious and best-paying post that a theoretical physicist could hold in central Europe, professor at the Kaiser-Wilhelm Gesellschaft in Berlin.
He came up with the theory of relitivity, proven in 1919 because of a British eclipse he had predicted. Einstien was a pacifist/Zionist who was attact by other physicist(Nazis)cause he was apearently jewish.By tha time he had won 2 Nobel Prizes for his work.
He moved to the US in 1933 where reluctantly he gave up being Pacifist and helped the Us war effort. He aided the Manhattan Project(Made the 1st nukes)Supported several physics based causes, and til his death saught "unified theory".
Most of his later thoughts were ignored til recently.
