   Japanese tourists
Heh... yeah. Japanese tourist... so hard to understand. What really sucks is when they don't know any English. I'll give y'all a nutshell version of today's bout. ^^;;; Ok... this is a couple?, well they might've been a couple. Well, here is what basically happened. (it was a guy and girl. The guy was ordering)

Me: Can I help you?
J-guy: uh... tuna chicken sandwich. *says something to J-girl*
Me: Uh... tuna or chicken?
J-guy: tuna chicken.*says something to J-girl*
Me: Uh... it's... uh.. one or the other.
J-guy: *says something to J-girl*
J-girl: *talking to J-guy* tuna or chicken. *makes a 'slash' sign as if to say either/or*
J-guy: Ah... tuna.
Me: Anything else? (stupid me, yeah? LOL!!)
J-guy: Ah... no no. *waves hand in front of face*
Me: Nothing to drink?
J-guy: Uh... no no. *waves hand in front of face*
Me: *stiffles laughter with a smile breaking through* Ahem... you sure?
J-guy: *says something I can't understand*
Me: Huh?!
J-guy: *says the same thing* (I don't know what he said, but I know he said the same thing. ^+^)
Me:... Uh... *prints receipt out and hands them it* Your number is 234 (not really but you get the idea) pick up on your left.
Me:... Ariagato. (I'm supposed to say 'thank you' to each customer, so I decided to say it in Japanese)
J-guy: *akward-type smile* (maybe because a blonde girl just said thank you in his native tounge. ^+^ Or maybe because I had a hard time understanding him and he knew it?! Who knows)

Ok... that's the rough idea of what happened. Other things were said and done during this particaliar customer. ^+^ But I don't want to bore you with facts. OH!! And try and imagine a thick accent to go with J-guy. ^+^ Maybe then you could understand a little bit what a day in the life of working in a tourist hot-spot is like. ^+^;;;


P.S. I realized more than ever, I NEED TO LEARN JAPANESE!!

My feet are killing me. ^+^;; Yeah. I found out that my friend works at the Barnes&Noble here. I applied for a job there, but I never got a call back. Heh... yeah. Irony. I can't get on my mail for some reason. I wonder why? Hmm... yeah.

   Finally
I finally got me a new job. It's in the food court of one of the malls. Paradise Cafe it's called. ^+^ We split up the tips at the end of shifts and stuff. ^+^ Yesterday was my first day. ^+^;;

   Hmph
I hate this. Everytime I want to go somewhere, my batteries die. So I have to go back to charge 'em up and it takes about 4 hours to charge. I have to walk everywhere so my CD player is the only thing I have to keep me company. And where I usually walk to is about an hour away from where I stay(walking distance. On the bus it's about 15 minutes) ^+^;;; Lovely, yeah? I guess I'll just surf through the radio stations again. Hmm... I hope I have good luck these next couple of months. ^+^ Maybe I can finally get an apartment. ^+^ One can only wish. ^+^
