   So so busy!
I forgot to mention-- I was on another Japanator podcast (and I'll be on this week's as well-- these are fun!).

Also, if you're at all remotely curious, I posted a bunch of photos of my room...or more specifically, of my walls. To date I have a solid 50 anime posters. It's practically wallpaper!

God help me when I get an apartment of my own. I have so many posters set aside that I don't have room for...@_@

   So...
Note to self: theO readers aren't interested in the larger (world) anime/manga industry? That article on Naruto censorship and toys in Brazil and Australia didn't go over very well. Admittedly, I should have made it clearer in the article that it was in Brazil where the censorship or potential censorship was happening, but after I made that clear in the comments I got at least one person saying essentially "So...why should we care about what's going on in Brazil?"

Hmm.

   Whoa!
Clearly I should check this thing more often!

A few of you offered suggestions on how I do my coverage, so I wanted to post requesting more of these suggestions-- what kind of things would you like to see more coverage of? Is there anything that gets covered that you don't care about at all? Any other thoughts or advice? Lay it on me!

Oh boy, more blogs! ♥

Welcome to my new blog here on theO, which I figured I ought to actually post to seeing as I'm going to start posting news regularly here. You'll be seeing me around quite a bit, I think.

That said: my name is Gia Manry, and I'm a freelance writer/editor and long-time anime fanatic. I recently managed to bust into the anime/manga news scene as the primary news editor for animeOnline, which - as many of you already know - closed its doors about a week and a half ago.

So I'm happy to land here at theOtaku for the time being, and I'll be reporting from Monday through Friday. <3
