summer band and chinese school
Monday was the first day of summer school. Band was okay. Kinda boring. Lots of sight reading, which i suck at. Today we barely even played because we did some dictation thing. Don't ask.
Cool thing. Everyone in the band gets to learn tuba and have a tuba contest. Whoever switches to tuba automatically goes to band 3. We currently have no tuba in the whole school since the old tuba guy is moving.

Chinese school was kinda boring. I'm like the oldest kid there and the teacher is teaching in a way like we're all little kids. But i admit even though it boring, slow going and most of the time we just listen and copy what she says. It's pretty hard. I don't like the teaching method though. How the heck does she expect us to remember all this if all we are allowed to do is listen. How in the world are we sapose to take a written spelling test if you just read the words off the board in 1 1/2 hours?

Pole Vaulting
Hehe. Just got back from school around 6:30. During PE, Coach B said i could go pole vaulting after school today. Last time when we did pole vaulting in class i didn't have Coach B record it and there's a possibility that we might get something if we did all track events. (ten i think)

So yea, i went after school and went pole vaulting in the 90 degree, blazing hot, sunny weather. At first i wasn't doing to well. I wasn't that bad but not that good. Ended up staying after school for 3 and half hours. It was pretty fun. Except one time where i missed the mat and landed on the dent thing that you put your pole in. Kinda twisted my ankle a bit. Not that bad though. The best for me was probably the 2nd peg. I think that 5 ft. Not too sure.

So as i get to the car, i try to explain what pole vaulting was and unsuccessfully drew a picture for him. I decided to youtube pole vaulting for my dad to see and found this. ROFL!!!!!! HA! I'm sorry guys but this is funny!

   concert
the concert went pretty well. If was fun even though i was almost having a heart from nervousness. Jazz band played on thrusday, friday and saterday. That was pretty cool. I never played at soo many concerts.
The coolest part was probably when band 3 and advanced string orchestra played. Our orchestra teachers writes songs so it was cool to watch them play. There was this one song that adv. orchestra played called Ari-gami and they played their string instruments with paper and cool sound effects. It's apparently a world-premiere and is going to be published in a year or two.
The best part of the whole entire concert thursday was when the band and orchestra combined into a symphony. They played Pirates of the Carrabiean theme!

I must get into band 3 next year! MUST! The band 3 test is going to be on tuesday and i really really hope i'm going to make it. If i don't i'll cry. If i make it i'll cry anyways! Tears of happiness!

Expensive dinner $$$
Finally changed the stupid background. The last one was crazy and make everything like 10 times harder to read. So glad i finally changed it. I'm working on changing the picture.

Ended up taking the city bus today. Waited about an hours for it. ehhh...don't feel like complaining how it went.
OMG! Tomorrow's my band concert! I'm so nervous and excited at the same time. I'm going to be playing a soli in jazz band plus i'm in a quintet (can't spell) in band 2. Everybody is going to watching me. Including HIM. (I'll save who's HIM some other time)

Didn't get enough time to post anything yesterday but it was very very interesting.
Well, my sister was going back to Ohio yesterday. And it happens at the time same time my aunt and uncle plane was canceled and my dad thought that we would go out to eat. My dad a little CuCu when we go out to eat. And he ask the waitress what good on the menu and start saying "yes" to everything she says. I go "dad, stop it" And of course.... How much do you think we spent on that dinner?.........................................
ALMOST $700 dollars! WTF!!!!!! I knew it was going to be expensive as soon as my dad saying "yes" to everything but seriously. Sorry dad but you seriously need to not order anymore food from now on. Leave the ordering to someone else. PLEASE!
Anyways, it was ridiculous. And my sister was almost late for her plane. It was a little chaotic. And may i remind everyone. Don't take a waitress advice on what foods to eat. Because you will be broke.

Off-topic ?- What everyone's mile time? Like how many minutes does it take to run a mile. Me? Fastest is 8min 15sec. I think i'm considered faster than average.

   Bus, walk or wait?
Didn't think that anyone would comment after such a long time. My backroom still missing lots of things. I can't change my avatar pic and it's annoying me because it doesn't match my theme. Plus, there isn't a button that allows me to browse through other recently updated blogs anymore. So that sucks still.

Finished my project today. Still deciding if i want to do extra credit. But most likely i'm not going to. Too much work to be done in too little time.
My sister is going back to Ohio tomorrow. NO! who's going to take me to school and pick me up? I don't really want to go back riding the bus. The city bus sucks because it's sometimes late and sometimes early and you sit next to bunch of strangers. Or should i walk 2 miles (1.9 miles to be exact) to school. Or should i let my dad pick my up or drop me off and wait 2 hours doing nothing on school campus. Can't stay in the library. So... What shall i do? I really can't decide. And 2 miles gets a little heavy with a trombone but not that bad without. (Takes about 50 minutes to walk from my house to the school. I know because i've done it before.) I don't really want to wait 2 hours before class starts or when someone picks me up. Don't really want to sit with bunch of strangers and possibly be late because the bus was late. UHHHH! I don't know what i shall do!

btw, has anyone tried lemonade and sprite mixed together?

Well... It's been a long while. Haven't really haven't been on MyO ever since VV cause my backroom is still messed up. So yea... Obviously lots have happened since last time. School soccer season is over and still in Jazz band. I have a concert next week. A little nervous. I had Field Day on Friday. It was a little boring a first and very hot. Then the fun part was that they got a huge water slide. Yea... I got very wet. When the day was over my dad was like "....your wet" Lol it was funny. Now i'm just doing my project that's due on Tues. I have to hurry up and finish it. It sucks that almost everyone is out of school by now. I still have a week or two left. Can't wait til summer break. Btw, what is everyone doing this summer? Nothing? Vaction? Camp? Sleep? More school? I plan on going to summer school band. Only band though. It's optional. Maybe take some tennis and art classes. H.A.G.S!!!!

Soccer/ Jazz band
Guess what! I MADE IT TO JAZZ BAND!!!!!! Woohooo! The only reason i made it was because their was only two trombones that tried out. I don't know if i mentioned him before but Ted also made it. He is really good at trombone. He plays loud and is in Band 3. I met him during summer band. Anyway, i didn't have high hopes but apparently i got in. So yea, I"M HAPPY!
Now i'm in Jazz band after school Wednesday til 4, i have to miss soccer practice til 4 that day. Soccer ends at 4:30 so i have to go straight from jazz band to soccer. I'm going to be sooooo busy!

Since i'm talking about soccer, we had our first game today. Yea, we lost. It was 3-2. I swear i barely played. I played like for 15 minutes. I was like out rest of the game. I told the couch i didn't like forward, and guess where she put me, FORWARD!! I don't know how to play forward and i panick when i don't know what to do. The only reason she put me up there was because i kick hard. And that not it! That team and the referee was so horrible! The push and elbow us so much and they even pull us back by our shirts. They had like 3 handballs and they had so many off-sides. The refs barely did anything! It was soo obvious and they don't do anything besides calling who throws the ball. It was sooo bad. Worst of all i just watched the whole thing. One more thing, THE FIELD WAS tiny! I swear a good goalie could kick almost in front of the goal. It was ridiculous!

So yea, i have good news and band news. And starting next week i'm going to be busier than i'm already am. I don't have school tomorrow and Monday so i'm glad to have a break.

I just totally forgot today was Valentine's Day. Didn't get anything but candy from friends but that's about it. No love or anything romantic.

Can't comment anymore and i don't know why. Also my visitor counting thingy is completely gone. I mean it didn't just stop counting, it's like COMPLETELY GONE! Like not their anymore. Anyone have this problem?

I'm in band 2(band 3 is marching band & band 1 is beginning) I just started playing trombone like last year when other people in the school played 4 years. And i obviously play trombone, which is like the best wind instrument ever.

Jazz band
Today was a pretty intersting day. School was like any other day. I'm currently reading The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand. It's a book that college people read about philosophy. The author made up her own philosophy which she calls Objectivism and she puts her philosophy in a fiction story. The book isn't that bad. The fonts like tiny though (kind of looks like a Bible because of the font) and there's like 700 pages. It's a pretty good book.

After my last period today which i band i found out that today was jazz band tryouts after school. I've wanted to tryout like last year in my old school but i just HAD to move. Anyway, i totally forgot about Jazz band. He mentioned it really quick one day. He said to ask some drummer kid for the music sheet. I didn't know who that person was so i just completely forgot about it.
Yea after band, the band teacher said i should tryout. I told him i didn't practice and i totally forgot about it. So he's like it's okay, get the music sheet from the drummer (don't know his name) So i did. Practiced a bunch of high notes so my mouth was sore. When i went in, i play Concert B flat Cramatic Scale. That wasn't too bad. Then he ask me to play F Scale which i usually do okay at but since my mouth was sore i played pretty bad. He then ask me to play an higher F so i did easily. Apparently that the highest i can play because i couldn't get a G. On the sight reading which for me was basically the song. That was okay, a little bad. I was completely unprepared. I even told him i had soccer so yea. I'm a little worried about that.

Then i was late for soccer because of the last minute try out. Soccer was okay. I not to fond of forward but the coach alway puts me there. We also got our jerseys today. My pants are HUGE! I mean they're like XL when i'm like small or medium. So that was good. We have our first soccer game tomorrow and the team decided to have a team bonding party today. I'm going to go soon so i need to rap this up. I'll tell you if i make it or not.

My backroom is all weird. I'm missing a bunch of stuff. I know there making Version Vibrant but my thing that counts how many people i have visited my site is gone.

Nothing going on this weekend. Playing Wii and playing bunch of Inselkampf. Checking on this game every hour. If you noticed that button above: Visit My Mini City to help me increase my population!Yea, please visit it.

School related stuff. In soccer if feel like i'm the worst soccer player in the team. And every inch of my body hurts. Got my 1st semester grades. Straight A's. My GPA 4.0. So that good i guess.

It was Chinese New Year on the 7th. Everyone seemed to get a decent amount of money, except me. Man, i was still in Ohio i would of got some more money from family members. I only got $6 from my mom. I don't even want $6. What do i get with $6! She even got that money from someone else that gave her money from New Years! My dad on the other hand gave me $5 for each A i got on my report card. But nothing for New Year.
It's been like this all year. My mom either gets me something i don't want or never asked for or nothing saying "OMG I love it!" Dad's is a little better. He just gives me money. Not as much anymore.

Anyway, all these holidays when you like sapose to get something from another person all sucks.
