summer band and chinese school
Monday was the first day of summer school. Band was okay. Kinda boring. Lots of sight reading, which i suck at. Today we barely even played because we did some dictation thing. Don't ask.
Cool thing. Everyone in the band gets to learn tuba and have a tuba contest. Whoever switches to tuba automatically goes to band 3. We currently have no tuba in the whole school since the old tuba guy is moving.

Chinese school was kinda boring. I'm like the oldest kid there and the teacher is teaching in a way like we're all little kids. But i admit even though it boring, slow going and most of the time we just listen and copy what she says. It's pretty hard. I don't like the teaching method though. How the heck does she expect us to remember all this if all we are allowed to do is listen. How in the world are we sapose to take a written spelling test if you just read the words off the board in 1 1/2 hours?

I play trombone. It's the most best instrument ever!
The video down below is Oak Ave. Symphony. That's band 3 and advanced string orchestra combined together. The center part of the symphony are the strings and around them are the band peoples!
