   Hi, everyone!!!
Happy July Month, everyone! =^o^= Meow!

Time of post: 9:35 a.m. Good to be back again. I guess my mom let me on the computer again today... Yay! Well, anywho, nothing much to talk about today. But I'm still writing more of "Zero X" on my computer as much as I can, okay? And I'm still writing my fanfiction of "Sonic X" about that Sonic and Knuckles have to fight Metal Sonic and Metal Knuckles, so don't miss it. Their both coming soon okay? ^^ Well, I found this story about Axl (I guess I'm a Axl fan, as you can say... ^^) But here's the first chapter. So, enjoy it...while you can... ^^ A note from the Author: This is my first time and not sure how many chapters. I’ll make for this story and right now I’m rewriting Chapter Two for now. So anyway sit back, relax and do not fear there are no spoilers of any form in this story at all. A dragon in triploid’s clothing By Madakis (A.K.A Ashley Bunce) Chapter One It was dark winter day for the reploids. The sky was so thick with dark clouds that sun light couldn’t shine upon them. No animal dared to face Mother Nature’s wrath that they stayed in their dens and caves. Not a single bird in the sky to be found due to harsh blowing wind. Snow was scattered through the lifeless field. Axl heard the wind hollowing across his bedroom window. He sighed and pulled the covers of his bed over his head and went back to sleep. The bedroom door opened as Zero stepped in, he walked toward Axl’s bedside and nudged him gently “Axl wake up.” whispered Zero Axl Pulled the covers down enough to see Zero’s face “Just five more minutes.” he said tiredly as he turned over to fall back to sleep. Zero sighed and shook his head. “I guess I got to wake you up the hard way just like last time with X.” Zero placed his hands under the mattress and pulled the mattress off so fast that Axl flew through the air and landed right on his back. “Ouch! Zero!” said Axl as he rubbed his back. “I told you to get up,” said Zero “Now get your armor on. I’ll be waiting outside.” Zero then left Axl‘sroom, a second later both of them walked down the halls of the maverick hunter base Axl gazed outside seeing the snow falling harder than before. “It looks awful out their, isn’t.” said Zero “So what are we doing today? Fighting any mavericks?” asked Axl “Well not right now.” said Zero “Oh I see were going to ambush them, right?” smiled Axl Zero shook his head “Then what?” Axl asked again. When they both met up with X and Punkitsune who’s a replacement of Gate and a half fox reploid with only a fox’s tail and ears “Well looks like everyone is here and I’m going tell you guys today duties. You’re not going to fight any mavericks due to the freezing wind that been keeping them out of trouble. Today you are going to hunt the ghost dragon.” said Punkitsune. Axl’s smile fades away. “I’m sorry did you say we are going to hunt the ghost dragon?” asked Axl Punkitsune nodded. “So we’re going to waste time hunting something that a bunch of idiots just made up to scare others? You got to be kidding Me.” said Axl “Sorry Axl it’s mandatory that mean you got to do it no manner what.” said X Axl sighed and knew it was futile to argue either one of them. “So anyway,” said Punkitsune “you’ll be traveling by truck because you need it to carry the ghost dragon back and some dart guns to put him to sleep when you see him. Don‘t forget to take the ammo in case you ran out.” “Thanks Punkitsune.” said X and the hunters packed up their equipment. Zero drove, X sat on the passenger side, and as for Axl he sat in the back with the dragon size cage, the dart guns, and boxes of ammos. Later they were in the woods and there were silence except the sound of the engine of the vehicle and tires hitting the pebbles as they go. Axl was still ticked off because he didn’t want to hunt the ghost dragon. He felt he was the only person who believes that he nothing but a big fake. Back then when was in the Red Alert bounty hunters of many kind will tell stories about him and how he got away, how he attacked mavericks and left them barely alive, and how embarrassed every maverick hunter and bounty hunters who tried to hunt him down when he around. Axl never believed any word they said he did recalled a story once that Red told him, by that time he wasn’t sure whether to believe him or not. Before he went any deeper into his thought until a loud screech noise of tires coming to a halt then everything began to slide all over the place and WHAM! The stuff in the back went flying and he landed right on his chest. He got up to see what’s going on and why the truck stopped moving. When he got out it was snowing a little bit. X and Zero were looking at the truck. Smoke poured out of it as the front of the truck was scrunched into the tree. “What the heck happened, Zero?” asked Axl “A black creature darted in front of us and cause Zero to lose control of the truck.” said X “Well at least we are all right, except for the truck.” said Zero. “It did looked like a bear that ran in front of us.” said X “Bears hibernate around winter, “ X. ”said Zero,“ It might be a wolf or coyote. I thought Coyote are gray or kind of a tan color.” said X while X and Zero were talking Ax could have sworn he heard something rustling in the bushes. He went to see what it was as he approaches the patch of bushes it shook a few times and it began to growl at Axl. Axl froze as he heard the growl from the bushes and couldn’t believe what he saw when the creature’s eyes started to glow. On his left side the creature’s eye was red like a ruby, and on his right the other eye of the creature was blue like sapphire. Axl didn’t know whether to remove the patch of bush to reveal the creature in it or call for X and Zero to show them what he found “Hey Axl you got to see what we found!” Yelled X Axl turned “I’ll be their in a minute.” Axl yelled back when turned back to the bushes the glimmering eyes were gone “Where did he go?” whispered Axl. He took a few steps back and walked toward X and Zero. Zero was kneeled down with a flashlight in his hand due to no sunlight because of the thick layers of clouds that was blocking the sunlight as he revealed the snowy tracks of a dragon “So all this long it was the ghost dragon that darted in front of us,” said Zero “Heh, I guess he either tried to scared us or trying get rid of us.” Zero got up and headed to the trunk of the truck, picked up the dart gun and handed one to X and gave Axl two boxes of tranquillizer darts for his pistols. “All right listen up, X you’ll go east, Axl you’ll go west, and as for me I’ll go north.” Axl stared at the same spot where he saw the glowing eyes as X and Zero left he sighed and headed west. The forest was a still and tranquil place to be in around wintertime, the sky can be seen Without the leaves being in the way, birds were so quiet that Axl can only hear his own footsteps and the low hollowing wind that teased his hair. His mind was focused on his past rather then on the ghost dragon since the forest was a quiet place to think. Axl recalled the time that Red told him about his encounter with the ghost dragon. He never had forgotten about the story at all. *Flashback* It was a rainy day and both Red and Axl stayed inside a cave to wait for the rain to clear up so they can continue where they left off in their hunt. Axl sighed as the rain continued to pour as he rest his head on his hands “Ah yes. The rain brought back an old memory of mine when I was on my first and last failed hunt. Way back before I met you, Axl.” said Red as he looked at the bored teenager “What hunt was that?” asked Axl as he raised his head. Red adjusted himself on a rock he was sitting on. “ It’s all started on an rainy day like this one were in right now,” said Red “He was the most toughest opponent I ever faced he was quick, strong, and show no will of giving up in his eyes. No manner what I do he know what I was about to do.” So what happened after that?” asked Axl “He made me chased him through the forest every time I got near him he ran a bit more faster than and finally I cornered him as got closer to him the sealed his fate it turned out he lead me to a trap,” said Red “A trap?” “Yeah a trap it turned out that we were standing above an underground cave and I fell right through the weak spot of the ground and I fell into the under ground cave’s river. He peaked over the pit and stared at me, grunted, and left.” Axl was silence for then he spoke up “He grunted at you?” Red sighed “That was the last time I saw the ghost dragon.” Axl was silence again “Your not making this up are you?” asked Axl. Red shook his head “It’s true and I know you don’t believe in the ghost dragon at all, Axl and that all right with me anyway.” said Red “Well I think the ghost dragon is nothing but a bunch of bull- *end of flashback* Axl turned suddenly when he heard a dragon size roar out from the distance that soon faded into an echo. Axl took a few steps and ran, running as fast as he could to reach to location where the roar came from. Soon he was out of the forest and running up a hill when he reached the top of the hill the only thing he could see was a high view of the lifeless forest around him. Axl scan the whole forest for where the sound he heard earlier came from “Maybe it was a wolf .” he said to himself. He shrugged and walked down the hill when someone from the behind pushed him. Axl fell in the snow and began to rolled down the hill, the steep was so deep and long that Axl hit the bottom really hard he groan and rubbed his head. When he got to his feet he saw the person who pushed him. He stood their then he crouched down and leaped off the top of the hill and landed hard at the bottom of it. Axl quickly took out his pistols. “Who are you and what do you want from me?” Axl question “I knew you hunters were looking for the ghost dragon but I’ll answers you questions first,” he said “My name is Vandal.” he said as he spread out his only one wing “And I’m here to get rid of you and your friends.” Continues on Chapter Two P.S.
