Sympathy
Yesterday, I found that my mind had strayed to a poem about some one named Anyone. So, I dug up the old poetry book (which was, by some odd chance, on my kid-sister's book shelf) and flipped through it, looking for it. And then I strayed upon this...it made me cry:


Sympathy

I know what the caged bird feels, alas!
When the sun is bright on the upland slopes;
When the wind stirs soft through the springing grass,
And the river flows like a stream of glass;
When the first bird sings and the first bud opens,
And the faint perfume from its chalice steals--
I know what the caged bird feels!

I know why the caged bird beats his wing
Till its blood is red on the cruel bars;
When he fain would be on the bough a-swing;
And a pain still throbs in his old, old scars
And they pulse again wtih a keener sting--
I know why he beats his wing!

I know why the caged bird sings, ah me,
When his wing is bruised and his bosom sore--
When he beats his bars and he would be free;
It is not a carol of joy or glee,
But a prayer that he sends from his heart's deep core,
But a plea, that upward to Heaven he flings--
I know why the caged bird sings!

Ewww!!
WTF was with that new ending theme?!?! *gags* Okay, so I know I'll come to love it in the end, but couldn't they have kept with Viva Rock?!?! I love Viva Rock! And the animation sucked in that episode. I mean...ew. Sasuke's hair looked so retarded with the stilted animation and I think Lee-kun got a new voice and I hated those weird spherical shots of Gaara and isn't this the worst run-on sentense you've ever seen? Anyway, at least the LEAVES were cool enough...*pout*

Aha!
Finally, it all makes sense! It's a placemat! My friend, Sammie-chan, gave me a strange, laminated Kenshin 'poster' of exactly the wrong proportions to be a poster for Christmas. Along with a Naruto wallscroll^^, but that's beside the point. Anyway, both Sammie and I have spent several weeks and much brain power trying to figure out what the 'poster' is. And, we realize no that it is, in fact, a placemat. So, I actually own a Kenshin placemat. Imagine that...o.o What an obscure thing to manufacture.

Now, if only I could find some Shikamaru earmuffs...^__^

Much. He will dye for you." Ahaha...I saw this somewhere and found it hilarious. Can you count the mistakes? "He will dye for you." Ahaha...it's almost as bad as this paper with some information on "Hercules" written on it. It was so...retarded. Not only did they fail to realize that his name is Heracles, but they went as far as to say he fought a loin. I'm not kidding. O_O!
"And then Hercules smote down the loin, and all was laid to burnination." Kind of a form of sacrelidge, isn't it? Running down Trogdor's greatest feat like that...I wish I had a Trogdor shirt. That would kick ass. Or at least a Trogdor something. "And then Trogdor smote down the Kerrek, and all was laid to burnination."
P.E. was utterly moronic today. I swear, if I see another person accidentally kick their shoe fifty meters through the air, I am going to kill something. Or maybe I'll just laugh...because I'm lazy that way.
Drew a great picture of Sakura in English class today...only the scanner is being a little bitchbox and REFUSING TO FUNCTION. *kills scanner* Okay, so maybe I'm not so lazy that way...I also drew a picture of Sasuke, believe it or not. I can't believe that. Me drawing Sasuke, the ass. (no offense to the user with the same name) I guess I found the perfect line of poetry to go with him, and the perfect picture popped into my head. So, I drew it.

Just something highly amusing that I thought I'd share with the world. We actually wrote out this document in--er--copper gelpen and got people to sign it...people such as: Napolean, The Governor General, George Washington, and Nar. The only signature that really makes it legal is Nar's, of course. I think it was signed by Naruto in three places, too...o.o

Shinobiness...! Wheee...
I really ought to get down to transcribing the lyrics to The Ninja Song, but that can wait...pshoo. Until I remember the words. Damn it. It had a tune once, too, but all was lost...*sigh* Ah well, at least it'll have the Pachelbel Cannon in the middle. Well, part of it. Seven minutes is too long for a solo.
I have to write an essay for English class--'reflections on 2003' or some bloody thing. Whee. This should be fun. Now, just to remember some events...well, everything bad happened last year. It shouldn't bee too difficult.
