For those of you who haven't wasted spent at least an hour of your lives at QuestionableContent.net, I urge you to hop to it. Hell, I insist that you hop to it! >:^O (Once you finish reading this post, that is.)
There are people who put tremendous effort towards breaking into and plundering bank vaults, and this I can understand. Money, after all, is everything.
And then there are people who put tremendous effort towards breaking into and pissing all over the contents of schools, leaving homophobic, racist graffiti along the way.
These people can easily all be squashed into the same group, regardless of their sexual orientation or race:
Among the first on the execution roll to be implemented as part of my new world order, as soon as my take-over of the world is complete and brought to light.
I've been thinking about entering Perspectives 2005. For those of you who are not familiar with said event, it is basically a creative writing competition, in which "young, urban minds" submit prose, poetry, and creative writing passages.
I'm not sure about the word-limit or other such restrictions, but there's a large poster advertising the event on my English teacher's wall, so I think I'll look into it further.
I've been considering writing something from a perspective that is usually ignored, when it comes to mainstream writing competitions, as far as I've noticed: that of some one like you or me. You know, internet-bound, blog-crazed, and full of RIAA sentiments--because face it: most of the winning works in these things revolve around discovering god, being depressed and angst-ridden, or in-praise-of-tolerance bits. All those things ('sept maybe for the depressed, angst-ridden one) can put forward some value, even if the first catagory does nothing but cause eyes to roll among the people I consider intelligent (xP), but they're pretty dull.
Which probably means I wont win or become close to even running-up if I write anything different.
We'll just have to see, I guess.
Wrote a French quiz today. I failed it utterly, I'm sure, but the teacher seems to like me for some reason, so I think I'm okay for the rest of the year.
Qu'ici le parle? Je besoin l'aide avec beacoup d'il, mais je croix je juste veux in person pour communique en l'avec.
I probably came across as severely retarded right there, but hey. It's not like there're too, too many people here who'd be able to tell. ^_-
Certain unnamed parties have finally begun the endeavour of completing Shogun, the greatest book ever written. I encourage you to follow in his/her/their footsteps as soon as possible. *imposing glare*
Neh?
Watched episode 101 of Naruto yesterday, and all I have to say is this:
omgz |<4k45h1 w170u7 p4n7s lolololzorzzz!!!!
Sewiously speaking, howevva, it was actually rather stunning for a filler episode. It makes Konohamaru's adventures in finding the red clover look puny in comparison, which really isn't saying all that much. =_="
It got quite stupid after the first seven minutes, and that horse kept me awake 'til two this morning, but I chuckled a bit. (Sakura's such a pervert. xD)
The manga keeps getting better'n'better, though, so it's all good. : )
If you have absolutely no idea what this is a picture of, or know what it is and find it utterly weird, you suck.
Just wanted to let you know.^^ |
