It was the Monster Mash... (Yeah, thanks alot, Buggie, now you've got it stuck in my head. Geez.)
Well, I took the bus and subway home from school (at 5:15, incidentally), after waiting about half an hour after leaving art club--I am such a good friend, waiting for Catherine-chan--and said amie and I started talking about the usual: cultural and linguistic differences between Canada and China, English and Chinese, Japanese grammar and verbs, our respective crazy families, holidays, whether or not we're planning on going to DMCI or Earl Haig, and just about anything else of equal substance.
And then I realized something...
Catherine came to Canada two and a half years ago. She has never gone out for Halloween.
As this is a trajedy that should befall no one, I guess I'll bug her to come along with Sammie-chan, Kunai, the other one, and myself. Because you're never too old to go out, dressed as the Links, collecting candy from almost-complete strangers. ^_^
I still don't believe my French teacher on the front that nobody outside of North America eats sandwiches, or that, in Europe, they don't have chocolate chip cookies.
That's just disgusting. (Not having chocolate chip cookies, I mean.) Think of all the little children, deprived of their childhood.
"Another problem was that France was full of French people."
Non Campus Mentis is a hilarious book, even though I probably wouldn't fair any better than those who wrote it, were I in their position. But that doesn't matter, now, does it?
The Link costume is almost done--I just need to sew on the sleeves and collar, and make the hat. Which, really, shouldn't take all too long.
And, then, I shall be one with the Force Gem, and take great pride in relieving people of their limbs.

There is going to be a costume contest at my school, this Thursday.
We shall only have three Links present, though, so I don't think we'll enter. 'Twouldn't be the same... : (
Or we can always get a plushie or something. : /
Meh...
Halloween is one of those crazy days where you can see a guy walk down the street in a Leonardo (as in the Ninja Turtle) costume and not notice.
Talk about a good time. >: )
