I'll bet I'm almost caught up to Sara in the way of free stuff.
You gotta love the Canadian government for those mousepads, floaty keychains, and picture books.^_^
In the way of elaboration on yesterday's frenzied post...
Let's just say this is the first time I've really set any form of academic goal for myself and really felt it was important.
The school I am desperate to make it into, despite my rediculously slim chances, features a program based on majoring in a specific art course--in my case, vis-arts would be my priority, something most of you should have been able to assume.
I saw some of the work that students put together there after one or two years of attendance, and I was amazed.
Perfect shading and colour blending, tons of seperate mediums, a strong ephasis on the actual point of the work being done.
There was even a dress made of a thousand or so tampons.
Now that's what I call an art course.
And the school's pretty damn nice, too. The place is big enough to be a mall--not to mention it looks like one.
Aiya...

So, Bush won the election.
Americans' sense of perspective is even more warped than I thought.
In the words of my dad's friend, "I guess all there is to do now is to hope Bush dissapears through some sort of miracle, along with the rest of his party."
Well said, Ing. u.u
Makes you proud to be Canadian.
