Legacy of Loss
Loss cuts us loose to begin again.
The shears snip through the cord,
And the Crone sets the pieces aside.
Some knots need a sharp answer.
The shears snip through the cord
After we tangle ourselves up
In knots that need a sharp answer.
She does not condemn for what we do.
After we tangle ourselves up
And the Crone sets the pieces aside,
She does not condemn for what we do.
Loss cuts us loose to begin again.

Sorry
I'm sorry for my lack of presence… finals are kicking my butt. I'm hoping to have a "professional" site up in the very near future with a bunch of my 3D and multimedia projects up. Once I get it going I'd love feedback on it. I'm always looking to improve. Thanks!

2 parts powdered sandalwood
5 drops sage essential oil
3 drops patchouli
1/4 cup vegetable glycerin
A medium-sized mixing bowl
Mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Add vegetable glycerin and mix until it has the consistency of coarse cornmeal. Add the drops of essential oil. Mix thoroughly. Allow the mix to settle and dry for at least three to six hours before burning on hot coals.

No promises, No regrets
Your memory will haunt me
Through all eternity
The way you loved
The way you laughed
And read sweet poetry
You taught me how to love you
Then you asked me to forget
You whispered to me softly
"No promises, No regrets"
Many years will come and go
And time may cease to be
But the memory of you tender voice
Will live inside of me
Not even time will ease the pain
For it hasn't left me yet
Your words still echo in my heart
"No promises, No regrets"

Goddess Luna
The full moon will be going "void-of-course" this Saturday & I offer a poem as thanks for the Goddess Luna but ask nothing of her...
Virgin, mother, crone she may be,
Her silver light still shines within me.
I bless you for the gift of light,
I bless the dawn and the blue twilight.
Hidden, obscure, and I can't always see you,
But I know you are there, shining through.
Rest now, dear Goddess, in slumber keep,
Your own sweet dreams enhance your sleep.

Contemplation
Pins and needles, spools and threads
Craft our lives from scraps and shreds.
All we make is all we see
Coming back to us, times three.
Milk and cookies, bread and beer
Teach the taste of hope and fear.
Swallow lies, and there’s the fee
Coming back to us, times three.
Bags and bottles, cups and cans
Sort the contents of our spans.
What we choose may set us free
Coming back to us, times three.
